Peaceful Saturday mornings when everyone is sleeping and I get to use the computer uninterrupted.

I love it when it's pouring outside (storming) and my window is a bit open so my room becomes cold and I sleep in my bed listening to the howling wind and the raindrops. It's raining at the moment

heyyy that's what I love too! You copy cat. It makes you feel extra snug tucked away in bed.

How is it that no one has mentioned food?!
Know that the life of this world is only a frolic and pastime, an ornamentation, boasting and bragging among yourselves and lust for multiplying wealth and children. It is like rain so pleasing to the cultivator for his vegetation which sprouts and swells and then withers and you see it turn to yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. There is severe punishment in the hereafter ( but also ) forgiveness from Allah, and (His) pleasure. As for the life of this world, it is no more than merchandise of illusion. (Quran 57:20)

I love...

- The soil, the earth, and everything that goes in it or comes out of it. Watching plants and animals grow give me joy.
- My 2 year old daughter. 24/7 entertainment and source of joy. ^^
- God's works. Leaves me awestruck whenever I behold them.
- Making stands for truth on all forums including real life (sometimes labeled as "trolling").
- My neat little firearms collection.
- People who answer affection with affection.
- The internet. What a great resource.

"I wanted a high position in life, I found it in modesty. I wanted leadership, I found it in giving advice. I wanted dignity, I found it in honesty. I wanted greatness, I found it in poverty. I wanted lineage, I found it in virtue. I wanted majesty, I found it in contentment. I looked for peace and found it in asceticism." - Uwais al Qarni

oh snap,  alradh's back!

i love sitting in a patch of grass when its quiet, just running my hands over the blades.
Someone picked up the head of Hussain: "These lips that kissed The Prophet now kiss the dust."

"Sometimes you find requests are not immediately granted. Do not be disappointed. Fulfillment of desires rest in the true purpose or intention of the prayer. More often fulfillment is delayed because merciful Lord wants to bestow upon you suitable rewards. In the meantime bear patiently hardships, believing sincerely in His help. You will get better favours, because, unknowingly you may ask for things which are really harmful to you. Many of your requests, if granted, may bring eternal damnation. So at times, withholding fulfillment is a blessing in disguise."

I LOVE my son!
I also love sending time with my family, becomes so much more precious after you are married and live far away.
The smell of rain in summer.
Being in bed...but most importantly sleeping!
The little things that mean so much.
