I thought i would start a list for things we love. Lets take for granted that God, the Ahlulbayt(as), family, all the big stuff are on the list; this is more for specifics or peculiaries or anything that pops into your head at the point of writing.
Ok, i'll start:
I love...
-My mums pink and purple hair
-The water highs i get at suhoor
-The smell of ripe tomatoes on the vine
- my food processor
- watching Grizzlies catch salmon xD
- sleeping like a baby (please God)
- focus in supplication
- feeling grateful
- my brothers strange cooking
- a sweet stretch
- home made nut butters
- my mums frog phobia xD
- shia chat trolls
- The details of imaginary place where i go to meditate
- no socks
- being alerted to an interesting Quran verse i hadnt noticed before
- black Bic pen with good flow
- good old fashioned politeness
- consensual games

For you are in Elysium, and you're already dead!"
Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.

Here are mine:
I love:
The pleasure of picking out a much loved passage in a wellworn classic.
Exploring the garden just after a storm and smelling the roses ( or what’s left of them).
Watching little kittens stage mock battles with one another.
Coming home with armfuls of pine cones and wild flowers after a walk in the woods.
Curling up cosily with some hot chocolate before a good fire and enjoying some pleasant family time.
That feeling of crowning excitement I get every time when my tadig comes up just right with the right colour on the serving plate.
Seeing a stranger’s baby smile just at me in a crowdful of people.

"Sometimes you find requests are not immediately granted. Do not be disappointed. Fulfillment of desires rest in the true purpose or intention of the prayer. More often fulfillment is delayed because merciful Lord wants to bestow upon you suitable rewards. In the meantime bear patiently hardships, believing sincerely in His help. You will get better favours, because, unknowingly you may ask for things which are really harmful to you. Many of your requests, if granted, may bring eternal damnation. So at times, withholding fulfillment is a blessing in disguise."

----the companionable and pleasant silence of evenings when I am with my father, busy with our own things, but still together---knowing that person you love most and craves for most is with you, only at a single word's distance
---the look, smell and touch of freshly fallen snow, when the air becomes heady with the sharp aroma of pine-scented snow---
----feel of old and forgotten books being opened after a long long time--
----sound of crackling wood in fire place and aroma of freshly ground, roasted and brewed coffee
-----touch and smell of freshly mowned grass---
-----waking up suddenly from a deep sleep and listening to the solitude of night ---

- That European classiness, from clothes to etiquette
- Birds, feed them almost everyday

- Staring into the ocean/ open water, have spent hours doing so
- The smell of rain, I hope I am not alone in this
