Salam,

Every conversation I have had with a Sunni has never ended well, they are so narrow minded and ignorant. Sometimes I just want to leave words behind and aim for the jaw.

Seriously I don't understand you people, we explain to you what be believe and follow then you say "No you're lying"... are you lot a social experiment? What do they tell you in your lectures and your mosques? That we worship stones and pray to a "biscuit", we put Imam Ali (a.s) in front of the prophet (pbuh), that we pray to our "dead imams"... seriously now, then 90% of the Sunnis wish death upon us and call us kafirs.

Stop judging that we will all go to hell, Allah didn't give you the power to judge on behalf of him. I don't care if I come of rude in this post but the recent conversation I have had with some of these people speak like we Jews or some other species. Fix up.

Know, why do the majority of the Sunni population misunderstand us, want to kill us all and just be ignorant towards us?

don't say you don't because I only know 1 out of 60 people that actually doesn't hate us, the rest are just "waiting" for the time to kill us "kafirs", these are the replies I got from Sunni Muslims btw, so don't go telling me I'm being rude and disrespectful.

I agree with you on most of the points you raise, but there some good sunni's out there.

Granted, they are in the minority but if there is something that I have learnt (on Shiachat actually) is that some sunni's are simply misguided and can benefit from some of the excellent knowledge lots of the Shia brothers and sisters provide

Yeah I agree on that too which is why I said 90% of them are just.... and yeah most do seem misguided but then you try to explain to them and they say "No you're lying and you are a kafir", it's like are you kidding me?

i'm glad to see that someone else feels they want to punch them in the mouth after taling with them lol! Personally I stay away as they have denied what we love. It's not like we're disagreeing about what color car to buy or where to live... this is big time!
If you read hadith Ahlu Bayt a.s. will tell you how to deal with them... they a.s. will also tell you what their problem is ~ That their hearts are made of a different clay than the shia. I hate it when shia make excuses for them saying they never had a chance in their country... well, they have hours every day to chase potential marriage mates on the internet or go shopping.... but they don't want to researchand seek knowledge and light. Read more from Ahlu Bayt a.s. and find out why they can't see... that simplifies everything.

I can appreciate your frustration but this is not a condition restricted to sunnis, but rather it's an issue for people in general. You don't need to be a sunni to be ignorant.

Yes but Sunni's are more frustration because they are Muslims too. You have to be really uneducated to say we pray to stones and worship our imams... then when we give our reasons and logic behind it they say no. Coming from a Muslim is different than when it comes from a non-Muslim.

Ahh...... I am frustrated because people are proud to acknowledge themselves as Sunnies, Deobandies, Ahl-e-Sunnat, Ahl-e-Hadees or Shia instead of Muslim or Momin.

Yes.. most of time 'Sunni-Salafis' come up with stupidity about Shia - also their 'Imams' have no problem with repeating that stupidity!

One example; 'Shia Mahdi is in Cave' or 'Shia Mahdi hidding in Cave' :realangery:

(I dont mean all Sunnis)

This is a totally wrong post. In my own experience, 99% of Sunnis don't know anything at all about the Shia. And moderately intelligent Sunnis always say they are for shia-sunni unity. Its only the wahhabis who are like what you mentioned, not sunnis. That's why there are so many sunni converts in the world.

This topic is so inaccurate.

This topic is good to bring up. I'm a salafi Muslim & came here for more understanding of Shia Islam. And I could tell you many many stories of the Sunni attitude towards the Shia... One example:
My neighbors & close friends are a 2 Shia families from Iraq, there is 7 boys I associate with & we help each other all the time. One day needed help at work so called one of the brothers to help me, we went to work & seen a friend on the job site who is Sunni hanafi, we started talking about religion as usual & he said those Shia are so fu@$ed they pray with a stone, they drink alcohol and lie all the time, his language was pathetic and attitude very angry, my friend looked at him and was ready to bash him, I quickly said murtaza please brother can you get me this out of the van for me, he went & I said to my friend what's your problem man? My friend is Shia and what your saying your saying out of ignorance, he was very shocked that I got angry & asked why I was so angry? I told him the reason why Shia pray with a rock and it instantly made sense to him, I also told him about the attributes of the 2 Shia families I live next door to and he was very surprised, he apologized to my friend and we worked the rest of the day talking about religion respectfully....

Yes, we can all be ignorant, both Shia & Sunni, but if we don't come together and talk to each other we will never understand each other. We Sunnis/salafis are all told at our mosques and elders not to talk to Shia as they are masters of taqiyya..

I don't know what sunnis you been talking to but everyday of this month I have been having conversations with them and those are the replies I get and everyone else gets. I even looked at their forums and also the comments on videos on YouTube, all disgusting.

Yeah at least that person understood and learnt why we pray on a stone unlike the majority which say "No you're wrong and a kafir". These so called scholars that teach people falsely about the Shia will have their punishment. Teach anyone something that isn't true about a religion then you are sinning. I'm starting to dislike other schools in Islam, they are so ignorant and so pathetic to come up with these things, lowest human beings I know.

It works both ways, so please don't portray the image that Shia are perfect & say nothing about other sects, you are just as guilty!

Here is a new one:
What do the Shia teach about the Sunnis? This will be fun if anyone has the heart to be honest about the topic!

"What do they tell you in your lectures and your mosques? That we worship stones and pray to a "biscuit", we put Imam Ali (a.s) in front of the prophet (pbuh), "

I've been to so many lectures of so many different mosques and not a single one said anything about Shias, they don't really pay attention to Shias if you ask me. You don't put Ali K.A.W infront of the Prophet SAW but you put all your Imams infront of every other Prophet or almost all of them anyway.

For starters we respect they are Muslims, we don't say they are kafirs and worship objects... If anyone does speak back it is because of what they say about us so we feel the need to do something than just sit there. Shia's only hate the historical figures such as Yazid, not the entire Sunni population. But they on the other hand... killed our Imams and hate us.

Hmm, who said we put all the Imams infront of every other Prophet? Just because we "follow" the Imams and Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) doesn't mean we put the imams infront of the Prophets. The Prophets that came before the last Prophet taught us about other religions, such as Judaism and Christianity so that's why we don't follow all of there teachings if you get me. But that doesn't mean we put the imams infront of them.

Because their ayatollah aint poisoning their minds with henious unscropuluous fabricated falsehood.
By the way, to anyone who worships hussain or ali @ their gravessite... The passage of the Quran that says:"Think not of those who are slain in Allah's Cause as dead..." Doesn't mean they're alive in this dunya, but their souls have passed into the akhira.
Funny innit youlot ascribing hussein & ali in partners with Allah, nauzubillah. You turn your right and left cheeks on their gaves. But if they're alive in their graves & can hear you, why donthey scream at you and curse you for killing them in the 1st place? Why don't you dig them up?
Surely if you claim they're infallibles, their bodies woudnt have rotted?
Prove it, its simple. Dig them up n see with you windows just how alive & thriving they are!

Reply to this simple challenge then!
Then I won't mind being called a retard after you're successful... Dig up the graves of those "gods" your ancestors have murdered! You claim they're alive! Where's your proof!
You have none.
Ali is no prophet, neither is hussein... That doesn't make muslims "ignorant"
They're only ignorant to your poisonous ayotullah mind-controlling fabrications.

Oh by the way.... Yeah your ali & hussein told me they want to avenge you for betraying and murdering them.... They told me to dig their graves for them coz they can't wait to get out... And reject you.
By the way that was an outright lie, but you can't know for sure, righT? "Its alive! Its alive!!!" Ooohhhh!!!
If they live they'll curse you...killing them for one. And secondly for slandering their best mates I.e. Umar, Abu bakr, uthman... @least none of their "real" mates hurt them or put them in their graves!
You just got served! What!

LOOOOOOOOOOL am I speaking to a child here? I just asked you to find me the Hadith or the lecture on where we called Ali (a.s) and Hussien (a.s) "gods". And I said find me the Hadith where we said they are still alive. I'm sorry I didn't know that we like Yazzid and his father Muawiyah, they are both scum bags and if none of them had lived Imam Hussein wouldn't have gotten killed, so technically the blood line that you support killed him, go to sleep.

Curious, Crimson, when was the last time you prayed alongside Sunnis? When was the last time you put aside the fact that you're Shia and they're Sunni and just listened to a Sunni khutba? No trying to debate, just listen. When was the last time YOU had an open mind about something the Sunnis do?

Everyone believe's that their beliefs are the Truth. But fact is the majority of us believe what we do simply because of what our parents believed.

The vast majority of Sunnis out there simply don't know much about Shia, and the little that they do know they get from the small minority that spread false statements. Similarly, the vast majority of Shia out there don't know much about Sunnis, and the little they do know, they get from people who spread false statements about them. Until a time machine is invented, we will never know what the true Truth is, and both sides will simply have to have faith that the person recording their side of history was honest in doing so.

Interestingly though, of all my Sunni friends and my Shia family/friends, it is only the Shias that say the Sunnis aren't Muslim and curse them. My Sunni friends have no issues with us.

I attend a Sunni school twice a week because there are no Shia one's around so I know what they teach and think of us. Why is it that my Sunni friends come and tell me after they heard a lecture at their mosque, that we Shia worship Imam Ali? I have never seen a Shia call a Sunni a kafir or curse them but the only time I seen it happens are when the Shia are being attacked.

We don't have corrupt Imams/Scholars that go around spreading lies on the Sunni's, we don't mock them in their beliefs and we don't say their Mahdi is the Dajjal and things like we killed Imam Hussain, why can't they do independent research and learn of us instead?

The reason is why I mead this thread is because the vast majority of my Sunni friends tell me my prayers aren't accepted and I am not a Muslim yet.
An open mind is the most powerful weapon in the universe, specially the one that worships Allah.

Life is beautiful. You just have to take a closer look.

The strong rule the weak, but the wise rule the strong.

I have to agree with Crimson. Go on Youtube and look at the # of Sunni scholars that repeatedly start making things up about Shiite Islam. How many Shiites will you have making things up about Sunnis on all those videos?
