Salam,

Ramadhan Kareem and congratulations on the birth anniversary of the 2nd Imam (as) -

I am asking a question from all of you momineen brothers and sisters on SC, do you think Shia Chat's been hijacked by wahabies who post here with Shia pseudonyms?

Test in case, not a day goes by when there are threads initiated by certain SC members (you all know the names) with topics such as:

1. Spread doubt about the knowledge of Aimah using one or two zaif Hadith
2. Spread rumors about the ismah of Aimah using one or two zaif Hadith
3. Syeda Fatima Zahara Batool Tahira (as) has been called contaminated with najasat.
4. Prophet of Islam has been called illiterate and not a born Muslim
5. Most authentic and oft repeated history of Hijra, Shab Abi Talib, Badr, Ohod, Ghadeer, and Karbala has attempted to be distorted
6. Quran, Hadith, Nahjulbalagha is routinely doubted,
7. Same people ridicule Shia Marajae of today and in the same breath seem to worship the Shia Marajae of the past
8. When argument and ego allows, the equation flips in #7 above, and suddenly the Shia Marajae of today become the darling and the ulema of the past are ridiculed

More so do you think even some mods have been compromised too? (Mods don't ban me on this comment, you ain't the Chief Justice of Pakistan with their new wave of court contempt cases on every voice of objection :)

Test in case, People get banned on almost everything on SC but I have yet to see a ban on any of the offensive commentators from among the Ahlulbayt Offenders on SC. Offensive comments have ranged from being offensive to normal Shia SC members all the way to Prophet and Aimah (as). Again no need to name names, but there seem to be some who are very obviously ignoring (tantamount to shielding) some offenders even when their posts are reported repeatedly.

Lastly, and I don't need a poll for this, but does it seem to you if it's the time for a Shia Chat-II, where Shias on revived Shia Chat could share thoughts, ideas, and knowledge freely without being hounded by a pack of closet wahabies.

Thoughts? Comments?

Wassalam and happy fasting.

And they serve beside Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you (presume to) inform Allah of what He knows not in the heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and supremely exalted is He above what they set up (with Him). [Qur'an 10:18, Shakir translation]

Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah (alone) and (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, (saying), We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful. [Qur'an 39:3, Shakir translation]

(wasalam)

Shahr Ramadaan and mawlid 'Imaam al Hasan (as) mubaarik to you as well.
I think you are mistaken in assigning the "wahabi" label. May Allaah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì lay infinite curses on the "wahabis."
You probably understand differences occurred between the early and later 'ulama. They supported their differences with ahaadeeth of the ma'sumeen (as) and the ayaa of the Quraan. If someone brings up an opposing viewpoint than yours and says this is the hadeeth or the tafsir of the ayaa from the Quraan that led me to believe this; why not have an intelligible discussion?

Yeah man, we're just giving some feedback... No intelligible discussion here. We'll save that for SCII or shall I say SC Reloaded *in a Terminator voice*.

C'mon Op, Just have a laid back attitude, that's really "in" today's world from religion to everything else. People have freedom of speech don't forget there are ignorants too in masses they also have the same freedom, -_-

What is "the world" except the forgetfulness of God.

It is not family, possessions, wife and children.

Practice What you Preach !

The Prophet (PBUH) has said, " During the night of my ascension, I passed By a Group of People, Their lips were being Severed by scissors of fire, I said, O Jibreel (AS) who are these people? He said, They are preachers from your ummah, who would say others than what they would do"

Wow this was easy, I really didn't need to name names :P

On a serious note, banned veterans of Shia Chat are more in numbers than the current folks attempting to conquer hearts and minds in here. So any suggested domain names for the Shia Chat rebooted?

Bro I think you've blown this WAAAAAAY out of proportion... The people you are referring to as "closet" wahabbis are yours and my brothers and sisters in Islam. Yes, they have beliefs which are... unorthodox and stand out from the mainstream and popular view, but they are nowhere near being Sunnis, let alone wahabbis...

bro HH for example, I have disagreements with him regarding Taqleed, and a few other historical matters like the Tafsir of Surat Tahreem. But he and I talked it out and agreed to disagree for the most part. I see him as my brother in faith and I'm sure he sees me in much the same way.

You gotta take a chill pill mate. Don't turn into something like me, because I have a history of opening such topics in the past lol...

I suggest GhaliChat.
And they serve beside Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you (presume to) inform Allah of what He knows not in the heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and supremely exalted is He above what they set up (with Him). I knew your response in advance,at least it won't be muqqassir chat.If 99%Shias in the world are Ghaalis then we'll decide the names for tiny miny minority. B)

Hellhound now you see this name giving is not one sided.

If I cared about what the majority thought, then I would be a Sunni.
