Is it allowed for a person to taste the food, not swallow just taste a little bit to see if it needs salt or other spices?

But i thought we killed Imam Hussain (as) (Nauzbillah), and our ancestor killed Omar? Umm so apparently we killed Imam Ali (as) too now.
These accusations keep getting better. 1200 years later you still believe sunnis are the "TruePath". Its your heart that is poisoned stupid woman. Seems like quite a lot of work has been done on your mentality that you are THIS brain washed.
Any plans to blowup a mosque lately?

As far as I am aware, it's makroo (disliked).  However, it does not invalidate your fast unless it touches your throat.  I would avoid it out of precaution.

^^What this guy said. Some1 had asked on a live TV the same question. The Sheikh said that firstly the intention should be just the taste the food and not the quench ones thirst/hunger.Also the quantity should be so less that it should not be 'swallowable'  and shouldnt go down your throat.

2. The permissible acts include: sucking the ring 1, chewing the food for the child, mouth feeding the bird, tasting the food (broth), infusing in water for men. Brushing the teeth with a tender (humid) and dry brush is mustahabb for salat.

You could always practice it when you aren't fasting so it becomes easier. :)

بسم الله الرّحمن الرّحیم

Assalaamu alaykum,

I would personally avoid this as a precaution. If you're making food for friends or family, usually they understand that you're fasting and couldn't taste the food as you normally might. When my mother makes halwa during her fast, she just puts her trust in Allah (swt) and it usually comes out better than ever.
