I did not see this news. Do you have report of this incident?
i dont have a clip of the fight, and i'm no boxing expert, but it did seem a little bit biased. i mean, at that level of competition, you cant go from 0 warnings to a disqualification in 56 seconds.. but obviously, their not going to admit a bias. maybe in a few weeks/months when it no longer matters, they'll admit it was a bad judgement call by the ref.

After living in China for a couple of years....well let me just say this behavior doesn't really surprise me.
I was reading people comments and a lot of people don't trust the Chinese. Do you remember when the female swimmer from China recorded even a faster time than the male swimmer in the last 50m. Do you know what was the first question on everyone mind? Did she use any illegal substance.

I seem to be missing a lot of good sports. :o

I watched one of my favorite events in the Olympic, running.

I saw the Iraqi female runner. She was pretty fast. In the second match, I saw a young girl from Qatar. Within the first few secs, she had to stop because of cramp. They had to take her out from the stadium in a wheel chair. Poor girl was crying. I also saw a female runner from Afghanistan. She wasn't that fast.

Swimming is still fun to watch and you learn how the great swimmers swim.

lol the Arab and Qatari should not have been in the Olympics in the first place. I think they got in via connections, at least I know the Arab one did because her father was a Judo referee.

I've been hearing a lot about doping allegations against some nations such as North Korea, China, and Russia. This is really pathetic. It truly defeats the purpose of the Olympics and I feel horrible for those that end up becoming silver, bronze etc. because of these kinds of situations.

Well at least we won gold in wrestling today. Hamid Sourian in Greco-Roman came out on top. Our first gold in London. Hoping for more.

We're also favorites for the +105kg  with Salimi in there. I expect that to at least be the 2nd gold unless our guy gets upset there.

Why are you watching sports? shouldn't you be in the kitchen?

The Prophet (saws) said “The most pious of people is he who abandons

disputation, even if he is right”

"The calamity of a person is from his own tongue" -Prophet muhammad (saws)
"the believers are brothers, their blood is coequal, and they are one hand against others, the most inferior among them is empowered by them to give [to the enemy] protection"-Prophet Muhammad (saws)
"He who does not accept an apology from someone, be it from an honest or a liar, will not be with me at the heavenly pool (in paradise)"-Prophet muhammad (saws)
