Israelis terrorize Palestinians out of their homes and live on the ever-expanding stolen land themselves to this day... it makes sense to not have anything to do with them.

It is morally the right thing to do to avoid engaging them, because Israel's whole existence is based on injustice.

no it doesnt make sense at all.  this is sports not politics or war.  we played the us in the world cup so its not a problem to play isreal.

besides being based on injustice is not the isuue.  this is sports competition and these things have no place in it.

What gets me is that Iran would ban a sports ability to participate, should the athletes actually play the sport with certain people.

This is the kind of event where an athlete stands up for what is right and plays the game, regardless of if the world is against him.  For the love of good sportsmanship and determination, one man defies all odds.

But i see, instead he mysteriously just came down with an illness.  He is no Rocky Balboa.
