I don't think Muhammad (saw) had unlimited knowledge of the future, just what Allah (swt) revealed to him or allowed him to know. But we can also ask many of the same questions, like Hussein
They were doing what Allah (swt) told them to do. Muhammad (swt) did not choose to marry her on his own will, Allah (swt) commanded him to marry her. Maybe it was all a test for the Ummah? If everything was perfect now for the Ummah, what test will we face for the afterlife?

There's a difference between causing fitna and settling not for the truth to be concealed - for how can one claim to follow the truth if he settles for it being concealed? draw the line. Taqiyyah should be used i agree, but not to a degree where the rights of the saints are trampled all over.

Oh Mujtaba! Do They Not Call To Mind That You Are The Master Of Hussain?

You could also ask why Imam Hasan (a) married a woman who ended up poisoning him.
Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah (alone) and (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, (saying), We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful.
