Events occur often in beneficial ways to the people in relation to the event. If enough people are fighting against the Assad regime, it is likely that, that number of people, in the long run will benefit. The people of Syria, will, I believe, in the long run, prosper. This may not be the last revolution, but eventually, a comfortable equilibrium will be met.

Agreed!
And I am 100% sure it is not going to be the sectarian-terrorist opposition to be right in itself!

Bro, for real you think the west is after a government in Syria or they will be able to topple and install a regime there? That is a big no-no even if they kill Assad tomorrow. The point is how to weaken Syria, create sectarian tension in the country and in the region, push for a civil war and prepare an Israeli domination of the Arab world in the region. The only countries that will be safe from Israelis are going to be the Shia countries or regions (Iraq, North Yemen and possibly south Lebanon) with links to Iran.
Syria, the backbone of the resistance groups of Lebanon and Palestine, and a wall standing and preventing Israeli expansion must be thrown to the ground, that is the real goal, nothing less and nothing MORE. The powerful Syrian military/intelligence is targeted with hundreds of millions of dollars, which is not for no reason.

Of course Hezbollah will be weaker.
Their bridge to Syria who has been aiding their logistics will be broken.
That being said, from a "US perspective," there is going to be a major rise in Takfiri Wahabi Salafi jihadist groups who will probably kidnap, behead, abduct American and western nationals. Church bombings against Christians, probably suicide attacks against the Shia.
Lastly, I always supported Assad's demise as I seen him as the leader of a regime which committed mass atrocities against Lebanon, but looking at the state of the rebels and those behind them, I am having second thoughts about which is worse. The revolution has changed my perspective of the Assad regime.
Things are not so clear, things are not as they seem. These are Taliab style mujahideen.
This is NOT good.

Its easy to think whats "right", but then the next step is also to think what will be the consequences of that. If Assad leaves, you really think FSA after fighting for so long, will just forget everything, hug the alawis and christians, give them their rights. If thats how people think than i suggest to put down Meth.

You forgot about the Alawite Heartland and Latakia and Tartus in Syria. Majority Alawite Provinces. I wouldn't be surprised to see an Alawite State or them try to declare their independence. Also like i said, Russia has its Base in Tartus. Theres no way that they will just give it up that easily, They have even said. If anything happens, I am sure that Lebanon can give Russia a Beirut Base for protection. Allah(swt) knows best.
One thing we always forget that we need to keep in mind is that THE BEST IS YET TO COME. Just keep that in mind IA.
