Salam alakom brothers and sisters,
Today I was thinking that i havent been a good muslimah so far. You see ive been worrying about the little things like how to dress, how to fix up my hijab ect. But i havent been giving my all to learn about my faith, and havent given Allah praise like I should.

So i was wondering if you could help me. You see i dont speak arabic, and all my muslim friends dont know how to share all that is needed to learn. I was wondering if anyone had any ebooks to share about the followings:

Islam history
About the imams
Ramadan
Duas
Proper prayer and wudu and ghusl
What things are considered haram
Anything that would help a new convert out.

Thankyou inshallah some one can help me
-mas salam

That means you are a good muslimah. If you weren't you wouldn't even worry about those things. The next step is to gain knowledge from the proper source, the Third step is to implement that knowledge in your life.

So i was wondering if you could help me. You see i dont speak arabic, and all my muslim friends dont know how to share all that is needed to learn. I was wondering if anyone had any ebooks to share about the followings:

Hadith #32.

With my continuous chain of transmission reaching up to Muhammad ibn Ya'qub al-Kulaynl, from al-Husayn ibn Muhammad, from al-Mu'alla ibn Muhammad, from al-Hasan ibn 'All al-Washsha', from 'Abd Allah ibn Sinan, from Abu 'Abd Allah, may Peace be upon him, which he said:

"Among the things pertaining to the soundness of a Muslim's certitude [in faith] is that he would not please people while displeasing God, nor blame them for something that God has not given him. For, verily, [God's] rizq (provision, sustenance) is not brought about by anybody's greed, nor is it withheld by anyone's disapproval, and were anyone of you to flee from his rizq like he flees death, his rizq would overtake him in the way he is overtaken by death." Then he added, "Indeed Allah with His justice and fairness, has put joy and comfort in certainty (yaqin) and satisfaction (al- rida) and He has put sorrow and grief in doubt and dissatisfaction."

salams,
dear sister,
I am also a long time convert and know the difficulties. Just relax. The Qur'a came down in stages and so does our learning and practice.
I have a ton of hadith in simply edited english with the citations with them. One volume goes from Prophethood, to Imammat , who chooses the Imams a.s. all the way through Ghadeer Khumm and beyond. Then I have other collectiions of hadith that cover 'Islamic perspectives in Life', Health care advice of the Prohet and his Family etc. They have a basic few page intro that gets yoiu started then the rest is all hadith.
i did this for myself as a learning project... but many people have found it so easy to follow and understand. I don't know how to send it here, not internet smart. but if you write to me here and send your e-mail, i can send to you whatever you need... forgive this quick, sloppy note but internet time is running out! I'm in the states... I think you are too!

salams sister,
forgot... yes, i have a ton of hadith on du'a and actual du'a. In my system you can print it out and put them in notebooks as I have... ialways find that holding a book is a better learning experienc for me.... when i open one of these treasure chests of hadith I feel like my Imam a.s. is sitting in front of me talking tome!
