Ah man that world cup... so close to glory.

Australia were just too sick though.

99 was our best chance to win the WC the second time.
Wasim, Shoaib, Saqi, Saeed, Inzi.....some serious talent in that team.

I've got a CA bat.

I remember bringing it into school to play cricket at the local park during lunchtime. Those were the days. Tennis ball wrapped in duct-tape :P

Just like the English introduced cricket to India, they also introduced it to Australia, and being Australian born of Lebanese decant means that you would of been exposed to a massive amount of cricket, since you can't watch any sport in an Australian summer, without seeing cricket all over the TV, besides, its a fun game to play with your mates at the park or the backyard or in the back lane, which i spent allot of my growing up life doing..my favorite 2 teams were always the west indies or Pakistan.

The good ol garbage bin wickets, and when you would slog it over the fence it was an automatic 6 & out LOL

ohhh man your bringing back memories... its been sooo longgggggg since i picked up a cricket bat and played a game. Its a shame when we all grow up we become too busy to do the things we loved most as children !!! I really gotta get back into it...

Memories galore. I dont know if your neighbour had any dogs but mine had 2 rottweilers lol... It was the Sandlot Kids everyday when the ball would go over the fence. I dont know if you did this, but i would always mimick DAVID BOON... Good ol boonie, block block block block run, block block block block block

Yeah the 97-99 paki , west indies and NZ team were awesome...

Do you remember Paul Adams , South Africa ? LOL the frog in the blender hahahaha he was a freak looks like he got zapped with a cow prod every time he was about to SPIN IT

Man I could watch these videos all day.
Not a better sight in cricket than a genuine fast bowler running in at full steam.

Waqar

Wasim

Shoaib & Lee. Love the part at the end where Langer talks about arguably Shoaib's fastest spell.
