It is a crude and inaccurate title. The official title is either wali-e-faqih, the guardian jurist, or rehbar-e-inqilab, leader of the Islamic revolution

While it is obvious that the title "Supreme Leader" does not match the official title of Sayyid Khamenei in Arabic, it should be looked at in the correct context. He is the Supreme Leader IN IRAN. There are other leaders, like the President. But, within the constitution of the Islamic Republic, he is the supreme leader in the government of Iran. This is the context, and I think it should be understood along that line.

But, as for being the Supreme Leader all over the world, even Sayyid Khamenei accepts that such a designation belongs only to Imaam al-Qaaim , and has therefore given him his ba'yah, and prepare the Iranians and Shee'ah Muslims for his (i.e. al-Qaaim's) coming.

He lives in India, where "emotional" women are firmly put into their place, with regular beatings, demands for dowry, acid in their face, etc, etc etc. So it would be difficult for him to understand involving women in politics.

haha lol ive been brought up in states . If ur arab then u knw hw women r treated in arabiaa, if ur bangladeshi its the same. I dont think i need to put out other nationalities.

That's not correct for all Arab states. In the western provinces of the middle-east, they're treated very well.
