So every year when I start fasting, I get headaches every day for the first one or two weeks of Ramadan.
When shahr ramadhan is approaching, it might be helpful to train the body and ease it into fasting to avoid the initial headache. A good tactic is, for the few days prior to starting, fast one day until around 11am. Then the next day till around 2pm. Then the next till 4pm. Found this to be very helpful. And yeh, the other two main causes are caffeine withdrawals (so just have the coffee during the time when you're not fasting) and dehydration. Drinking water won't make much of a difference, especially for those in the cooler whether, it's best to have something that'll absorb the liquid and release it slowly over the day, so as members have said, oats. Chick-peas like in hummos, or yoghurt with bread are another good ones. Be careful for ibuprofen, like in Advil, as it's an NSAID (as wayfarer mentioned) and is quite harsh on your stomach lining and digestive tracts.
