The reason(s) for the occultation according to our Imams

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: صَاحِبُ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ تَعْمَى وِلَادَتُهُ عَلَى هَذَا الْخَلْقِ لِئَلَّا يَكُونَ لِأَحَدٍ فِي عُنُقِهِ بَيْعَةٌ إِذَا خَرَجَ
Abi Baseer narrated from Abi Abdillah
"The birth of the owner of this affair [or ordinance] cannot be seen by the creatures [or people], so that he does not have any pledge upon his neck [or pledge of allegiance to anyone] when he emerges."

Note:
This Hadeeth is Saheeh, If you, like Najjashi, consider Mohammad bin Eissa bin Obaid to be Thiqah.
(Al-Tusi did not consider him to be Thiqah and has weakened him)
(Scholars are of the opinion that Najjashi's opinion takes priority over Tusi's)
