The reason(s) for  the occultation according to our Imams (as)
More posts will follow, Insha'Allah.

Abi Baseer narrated from Abi Abdillah (as), who said:
"The birth of the owner of this affair [or ordinance] cannot be seen by the creatures [or people], so that he does not have any pledge upon his neck [or pledge of allegiance to anyone] when he emerges."

Note:

This Hadeeth is Saheeh, If you, like Najjashi, consider Mohammad bin Eissa bin Obaid to be Thiqah.

(Al-Tusi did not consider him to be Thiqah and has weakened him)

(Scholars are of the opinion that Najjashi's opinion takes priority over Tusi's)

Husayn b. `Abeed Allah informed us from Abi Ja`far Muhammad b. Sufyan al-Bazufari from Ahmad b. Idris from `Ali b. Muhammad b. Qutayba from al-Fadl b. Shadhan al-Nishaburi from al-Hasan b. Majbub from `Ali b. Ra’aab from Zurara. He said: Verily the Qa’im will be occulted before his appearance. I asked: Why? He said: Fear of being killed.

Muhammad al-Baqir said: On the Day of Resurrection, a pavilion of fire will be made in which the supporters of the oppressors will be put, and nails of iron will be made for them scratching with it beginning with their hearts. So they will say: Our Lord, did we not worship You? He said: So He will say: Yea, however you were supporters for the oppressors.

Against all secular Ba`athi tyrants - yes, that includes Bashar and his father.

I wish to study more on the topic of our master of affairs and get closer to him and my lord.
Please tell me if I`m right but based on the hadith above stating he would be killed as the reason.. Thats probably true because like Jesus too, they wanted to kill him so it wasn`t his time to rule until he comes back again. Were they preparing for him, can anyone shed light on this topic a little moreÉ

And it was not [possible] for this Qur'an to be produced by other than God , but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.

Or do they say [about the Prophet], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a verse like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides God , if you should be truthful."

- Surat Yunus Ayat 37-38

Hazrat Mahdi (p.b.u.h.) says:

"Verily each of my ancestors had the oath of allegiance, upon their necks, of their contemporary tyrant rulers. But I will reappear at such a time that I will not have any tyrant's allegiance upon my neck."

Zoraara said, I heard Aba Ja'faar (as) say:
"Verily, al-Qa'em will be hidden prior to his appearance."

[Zoraara] asked:
"Why?"

He (as) said:
"He is afraid." and he (as) pointed to his stomach [or abdomen] with his hand.

Zoraara said:
"Meaning, getting killed."

Note:

  • This Hadeeth is Hasan.
  • It needs to be noted that it was Zoraara, who said "meaning, getting killed" not the Imam (as)
  • The term "Batn" is to denote the opposite of back "Zahr"
  • The term "Batn" also denotes "inside of everything"

I don't want to speak out of ignorance, but I think that you are right, however it only applies to the first occultation (the minor) , not the big one.
