Bismehe Ta3ala,

Assalam Alikum.

This video shows that Sheikh Al-Nimr does call the Assad regime as oppressive.

Bro this is all you could came up with? Hypocrisy at its best! What about the ppl who say worse things about Assad and even about the ordinary citizens who share the same sect as Assad? They even say lets KILL them all... should Assad take action against those who promised the massacre of Alawites, called for the assassination of head of state? Took arms against the government? Killed 100s of government officials? As you said, "of course they're not going to take it lightly."

And what about Ali Ibn Abi Talib that you bring in some of your discussions? What would he said about Ahle Saud? Or Imam Ali only focused about Assad who fights Nasibi Takfiris NATO's boys and send suicide bombers to public markets?

You keep ranting in every thread about your affection for the Syrian regime. Im just not going to come out in support of a baathist elitist oppressive regime. I cant do that, not at the expense of thousands of civilians and their property. Not at the expense of very basic principles we should all believe in,  like treating a prisoner of war with some dignity and protecting him.

We cant support the Assad govt, that would put us on the same playing field as the hypocritical movements and govts across the Islamic world. You cant kill innocent people for the greater good or to preempt Geo-political changes.

Obviously I would like to see the opposition and the Govt on good terms to prevent bloodshed on both sides. But its sure as hell not black and white, and supporting either side in the conflict would be, in my opinion, a grave mistake. Now I understand Iran and Hezbollah have commitments and relations with Assad, but as individuals we do not and should not. Unfortunately this support for Assad by the Shias has created more ambiguity, whereas before it was almost universally accepted that Shias were the ones being shot at.

^You still did not answer the question regarding the Shias of Saudi... the only reason I mentioned Assad and Syria, because of your low-level statement regarding this topic. All you said was to justify Saudis actions by saying any government would do against such individuals who say bad things regarding their kings or rulers. But, you forgot the difference between good and evil when it comes to all other countries except Syrian terrorists and Assad. I call Assad a president for life who has not much value for me... but you be a man and confess that the opposition is worse and they killed more ppl... and that they are worse than Egyptian MB whom you really afraid off..and etc.. And you also forgot to answer what would have been the position of Imam Ali on Saudi's brutal and Kafir worshiper rulers!

Your logic: The brutal Saudis have the right to go after Nimr for his words, but the brutal Assad has no right to go after 'ARMED' terrorists who massacred thousands and are initiating a civil war, nice try!

Abu Ali al-Ash'ariy from Muhammad b. Abdil-Jabbar AND Muhammad b. Yahya from Ahmad b. Muhammad all together from Ibn Fadhal from Tha'labah b. Maymun from Ubayd b. Zurarah who said: I heard Aba Abdillah [as] saying - and the Messenger of Allah had just been mentioned, so He said (about Him):
O Allah, verily you know that He is more beloved to us than the fathers and the mothers and even cold water.
