(salam)

A close friend of mine surprised me today by asking this question! She had noticed several times how I openly showed attraction to odd or eccentric guys instead of the normal one.
I didn’t know how to respond! Maybe that's true! I actually tend to find normal guys boring and hard to relate to, so that’s why I'm attracted to odd guys who are outside the "norm’’.
In fact, they’re not that creepy or mentally ill! But people might find them weird because they may have opinions that aren't entirely mainstream or have an unique way of looking at the world.... some of them even dress differently.

I don't really know why I feel like this, perhaps it's because I am always doing odd things myself… hehehe
Does anyone here relate to this or do you agree with my friend who thinks those guys are the worst evil.

is this even a man ?

offcourse you have serious problems and thats why even your taste has diviated from its pure nature.

Some humans also become cannibals and some turn gay and some start getting attracted to animals and some start prefering to eat very disgusting things

they need to visit a phychologist and return to thier pure instincts which they initially had

If this sort of people are your preference then you are very lucky because these days there are so many of them,,,  they make half of thier hair bold and the other half a rat tail!!!! or they shave half of thier eyebrow .....

these days even when i go to the hair dresser i freak out and give him many warnings before he starts after i witness all the wierd fashion of the youth:  i say that I dont want any wierd things nor any "fashion"   , just do a normal thing which our fathers used to do lol
some of them make a big crown like a rooster

you know what else ... those guys that never wash thier hair they they twist it into streams ,, I think they call them the grungies ,,,  they say its a hair style

one day i confronted them ,,, how do you achieve this hair style ? do you just not ever wash and it happens ?

yes thats how it is done.!!!!
being dirty is a fashion these days!!!
one positive thing though is when that " pants ripping fashin came out" then poor people wouldnt have to worry when it rips off

i mean for god's sake whats happening to the peoples taste ???
seeking attention has better ways than these ways ...

whats wrong with being attracted to people who are not the "norm" how boring it is indeed, well for us weird wackos, who have not lived our lives entriely by the books and have had experiances that have moulded our uniqueness, i love being unique and not "main stream" and i love people who are like that also, add some color and spice in your life, as long as your not being immoral and idoly insane who cares

Says the guy who's talked about going with prostitutes..  Is that part of one's pure nature to have a taste for such filthy women?

She has her own personal preferance. I don't see any wrong with that, isn't she allowed to feel attracted to this type? Won't that be better than sitting with, in her opinion, 'boring guy'. And you are exaggerating, or you're being sarcastic. I don't know, but you clearly misunderstood her point.

I didn't meant those fashionable Hollywood addicted guys! simply odd guys who think outside the box.... (the genuine kind that possess very high IQ's, not those who are putting on a show for attention).

Nah not my type.Too extreme. It looks like a disguise. I just could never imagine myself going out in public with someone with skeleton paint on their face.

It depends on what you mean by "odd" or "eccentric". I wouldn't really describe the guy in the pic as odd or eccentric because those are really mild words lol and that guy in the pic is really extreme. I mean there are ways to incorporate that kind of look into your style without scaring people! I hate it when people go over the top. It's a disguise. I mean no offense but I really don't see what's so gorgeous about him; you can't even see what his face looks like!
"The best thing [about hijab] is that at night, when you're alone, you see your beautiful hair and beautiful body and know that Allah swt has blessed you with such beauty. And you feel proud of that beauty, it's all yours since you don't have to share it with anyone. But when you put on that hijab of Fatima Zahra and Zaynab sa, this beauty isn't yours. This beauty is theirs and it makes you feel elevated and honored. It makes me feel even more beautiful.

And when I observe my hijab, it makes me feel like the most courageous soldier on this Earth. To have the hijab of Zaynab!!! Dear Lord, it gives me power! No one can understand the energy running through my veins."

I have no preference for such filthy women but muta with a prostitute is  for sure much better than marrying your own hand or TV screen or fornicating or being gay or perving and conducting the fornication of the eyes.....

there are priorities to choose from and the hallal option which is makrooh is much better than the other haraam options which most of you are happy with....

you want me to clapp for you and encourage you to marry that (guy/girl) ??

first of all I am against gay marriage and i couldnt tell if that was a man or a woman

secondly those people are gothic and  the music they listen to is usually written by satanist... the music they hear is disturbing and thier rituals are to be wierd and ugly to seek attention ....

if you have joint thier ideology  then good for you but i dont wish this for any human  and hence its my duty to oppose but if you insist then i cant say much even if you decided to marry Aleister crowley  .

but dont forget that if you marry such man he will expect you to folow his fashion preferences for example see this one

I don't think I'll ever change. I've felt this attraction since high school when I started taking art classes.
I met a bunch of weirdos, their mindset were so different and the way they thought and acted was not what people would consider normal.
yet they accepted me without questioning my thoughts, religion or the hijab I was wearing.
I don't think "Weirdness" is something bad. What my family and friends find "weird" may not be weird at all to me.

Don't take things to seriously! This is just an image from a movie, most weird guys they don't look like him! However, in the place where I used to live most ''European men'' look very feminine... still I found them very attractive!
Besides, people who are highly creative often have odd clothes or behaviors..

warda , if you want them to understand your affinity to weirdos , you gotta understand their surprise 0.o if you can see the shock in their faces and laughs then you win, otherwise , i am afarid you will cant succeed ( i hope you will )

women psychology changes according to the tides of her hormons , ask any lady in her 50s , she isnt the same as her 30s or 20s
what i want to say , you need to consider sustainability in any relationship
the weirdness of teh teens tend to  change with adulthood and middle age , people mentality isnt static , if you think you are not going to change , then you have to ask yourself if the -man- is not going to change , would you still stick with him if he changed ?

There's nothing wrong to be attracted to guys who are different (not necessarily eccentric). The most important thing is the akhlak and how good the guy really is. You'll also be surprised to find that some of the quietest and well reserved men are like hidden gem. You won't know how good they are until you get to know them closely (via marriage).

Personally, I like to be with someone I can relate to. If I am into body painting and flashy (attention grabbing clothing style), then I would most probably be into these sort of guy. :) But I am not.

i didnt know this was sisters forum I just found out now when you told me ....   i dont even know who is a female and who is a male for some of the members
Until now I used to think that you were a man
Usually I dont try to focus on these things  as they are not relevant because imam Ali said :

listen to what is being said and not who is saying it

I dont look at the categories i just entered because it was the main topic in the headline

but you seem to be extremely hateful so you need to know that your hate is for the sunnah of the prophet not for me because I only promoted what they promote

if you are a sunnie i can give you references from the main sunnie books regardiong the topic that you hate

Maybe you've devoloped this attraction because you started watching kdramas? :o idk.

How typically mature of you.
And they serve beside Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you (presume to) inform Allah of what He knows not in the heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and supremely exalted is He above what they set up (with Him). [Qur'an 10:18, Shakir translation]

Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah (alone) and (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, (saying), We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful. [Qur'an 39:3, Shakir translation]
