salam,

Einstein said,

"Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere"

What is the extent of this "Everywhere"?

what is  the horizon of Human imagination?

What things limit human imagination.?

I think human imagination and, in essence, our complete ability to innovate and create is based on our past experiences and events.
We cannot imagine a new colour, a new design, or even a new species. By new I mean something that is not, in any way, based on things we've ever seen, experienced, touched, heard or observed.
  Something completely new.
If we think closely we'll reach the conclusion that it's impossible to create something that is completely free from influences and  past experiences.

Honestly, brother alhamdulilla: Imagination is one of the greatest gifts of Allah.

With Imagination, we are able to go to Karbala and see Imaam Hussain's sacrifice.
With Imagination, we are able to feel the punishments of the hellfire.
With Imagination, we are able to see beyond the stars, and create our own perception of other worlds.
With imagination, we are able to witness the Day of Judgement....

Brother, this is a fascinating tool that we humans can use for either good or evil.
While some might imagine that God watches their every action,
others might sit around imagining rude things about the opposite gender.

Just think where your imagination could take you.
I believe there is a hadith by Imaam Ali (a) , he said "The universe is inside you"

During salat, we have to tame our imagination and try to focus on Allah.

Imaam Al Khomeini speaks about this subject extensively in his book Adabus Salat. He speaks about controlling the "bird of imagination"
