Orthodox Jews Deface Holocaust Memorial

Three ultra-Orthodox Jewish men have been arrested in Israel, suspected of defacing the national Holocaust memorial with anti-Zionist graffiti.
One of the slogans daubed in paint on the walls of the memorial read: "If Hitler had not existed, the Zionists would have invented him."
The suspects have admitted vandalising the site, a police spokesman said.
Suspicion for the attack had fallen on radical ultra-Orthodox Jews who oppose the creation of the state of Israel.
One of the slogans, all in Hebrew, was signed "world ultra-Orthodox Jewry".
Another read: "Thanks Hitler for the wonderful Holocaust you organised for us. Only thanks to you we got a state from the UN."
Another said: "Honourable government of Poland, stop allowing the Zionists to hold manipulative 'memorial' ceremonies in Auschwitz."
Some ultra-Orthodox Jews believe a Jewish state can be established only after the coming of the Messiah, and that the state of Israel is therefore illegitimate.
A small number of extremists believe the myth that Israel's founders conspired with Hitler to bring about the Jewish state.
Yad Vashem was established in 1953 and commemorates the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis during World War II.
The three suspects are to appear before a Jerusalem court later on Tuesday.

It would make sense if they blamed it on Palestinians.

Historically speaking, Chabad had different branches and used to be extremely anti-Zionist. The fifth rebbe of Lubavitch was one of the main inspiration sources of Neturei Karta. One small heavily Satmarized Chabad group (about 100-200 people) called "Malokhim" or "Malukhim", is anti-Zionist and is linked partially with Neturei Karta. Their main leader went even to Iran to talk with Ahmadinejad. They don't recognize the last two Lubavitch rebbes and consider the last one a heretic.
But 99% of Chabad people today belong to the Lubavitch movement, which has some of the most extreme fanatical Zionists among its ranks. But before the Six-Day War there was some interesting overlap even between Lubavitch and Neturei Karta. Some older Lubavitch families in Jerusalem are totally anti-Zionist.
One thing is for sure that those guys were not Satmar and not even any "standard" sub-branch of Neturei Karta (though these guys are very decentralized and have hardly any common standard, besides anti-Zionism and general adherence to Hungarian or Lithuanian ultra-Orthodoxy).

Well, the people who defaced the museum in Israel are not antisemitic. Their statements were sarcastic. "Thanks Hitler for our state" etc. are grotesque expressions of Zionist logic, which they criticize. But this action was obviously insensitive and stupid, so the mass media portrayed it as "antisemitism". I know this Jewish group very well. They are very-very traditional and never antisemitic, but sometimes they only consider non-Zionist Orthodox as real Jews, and sometimes do really stupid and bizarre things.
It seems that this guy in Chicago got simply angry at his friends and wanted to harass them. There is no ideology involved, unless you count US capitalism as the ideology that damaged him economically and turned him mad.

What they did can just basically be lumped into "acts of disrespectful people," like gangs and their graffiti.
Graffiti and messages can be really cool and profound, but only if the artists buy a building and paint up their own walls. So, what these people should do is just buy a sign or a building or something to demonstrate their skills and proclaim their message.
Otherwise, it's just blatant delinquency.
Peace and God bless you
