My Lady, I beseech you.
Ya Zainab, take my hand.
Show me the hill from where you watched
Hussain's blood soak the sand.

I'd love to wear a green-tea bandana
Embossed "Labbayk Ya Hussain"
And march, barefoot, to the shrine
of Fatima's noor ul ayn.

I'd love to run circles around
The lovely House of God,
The place His Lion grew his mane,
And touch the ground he pawed.

The peaceful aura of Mecca
In a white ihram,
To greet the Holy Kaba
And hear its "Wasalam."

To cry and have the wings of angels
Wipe away each tear,
To whisper a prayer at Al-Haram
And into the zuljana's ear.

Ya Karbala, Ya Mecca,
Call me to your sides.
I've begun to feel so hopeless.
It crushes me inside

To gladly bid my friends farewell
On their journeys so blessed.
When will it be my turn
To be loved, to be caressed,

And to be held in the arms
Of these cities, each in turn.
O Lord, unless my cries are heard,
My heart will always burn

With the desire to stand in Arabia,
and weep in Karbala.
May we all be blessed with the chance
To visit, Inshallah.
Someone picked up the head of Hussain: "These lips that kissed The Prophet now kiss the dust."

"Sometimes you find requests are not immediately granted. Do not be disappointed. Fulfillment of desires rest in the true purpose or intention of the prayer. More often fulfillment is delayed because merciful Lord wants to bestow upon you suitable rewards. In the meantime bear patiently hardships, believing sincerely in His help. You will get better favours, because, unknowingly you may ask for things which are really harmful to you. Many of your requests, if granted, may bring eternal damnation. So at times, withholding fulfillment is a blessing in disguise."

This is beautiful.

One regret, dear world,
That I am determined not to have
When I am lying on my deathbed
Is that
I did not kiss you enough.

None the less, beautiful piece of poetry! keep 'em coming

The Prophet (saws) said “The most pious of people is he who abandons

disputation, even if he is right”

"The calamity of a person is from his own tongue" -Prophet muhammad (saws)
"the believers are brothers, their blood is coequal, and they are one hand against others, the most inferior among them is empowered by them to give [to the enemy] protection"-Prophet Muhammad (saws)
"He who does not accept an apology from someone, be it from an honest or a liar, will not be with me at the heavenly pool (in paradise)"-Prophet muhammad (saws)
