Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz has been admitted to an intensive care unit in a hospital.


On Saturday, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, the half brother of Saudi King Abdullah was announced dead.

The 79-year-old Nayef, who was also the long-serving interior minister of Saudi Arabia, recently left the kingdom for medical treatment and was seen in Switzerland a few days ago.

Next in line for the position of crown prince is expected to be Nayef’s younger brother, Prince Salman, who is the minister of defense. However, no one has officially been announced to replace the dead crown prince.

I think the significance is that it is mentioned by Sunni scholar Imran Hossien that the death of Abdullah is a major sign for the coming of Imam Mahdi .

Wasn't there a hadith that there will be 3 leaders with animal name who will die? Someone told me King Fahd was one and Hafez Assad was 2nd one. After the 3rd one dies, Imam Zaman AJ will return, InshaAllah. Anyone else heard about this?

The chances are good that the Saudi regime, puppets of satanists, will finally get flushed down the tubes with this king's death. It is a puppet state granted to these brigands, the Sauds, as a reward for services rendered (treason/treachery/rebellion) against the Ottoman empire during World War I. They reanimated the neo-Kharijite Frankenstein in the form of Wahabi sects, helped their Western Anti-Islamic masters greatly by greatly assisting them in ruining the face of Islam and the Islamic world with their Wahabi nonsense doctrine and the resulting terrorists.

It all depends on the timing of how events unfold in the rest of the Middle East. Anarchy might rule for a while. After that, my guess is that it will be a free for all because of all that oil under them. But that would be fantastical. Or, if the World Gov doesn't get creamed in Syria due to a confrontation with Rus/China, which is most likely, then they'll probably manage to pay some attention and install a "democratic" like-minded or puppet regime. In any event, don't worry, Iran won't try to bring it under occupation. They're too cornered into a stalemate to be able to do anything worthwhile in the outside world. And the Wahabis are too dull to usurp control, the foot militant too poor and the leaders too busy and drunk partying in Europe.

No grassroots organization in Saudi Arabia seems to pose an immediate threat to the kingdom, with the exception of the Shiites of Eastern KSA.

From what I know about the KSA, you have two present rulers ruling:  The Saudi "reformist" monarchy in agreement with the "hardliner" yet "powerful" Wahabi clergymen.

There is the Shiite discontent in the Eastern sector, a minority who has faced state sanctioned government persecution at the hands of the Wahabi establishment.  Then you have the actual hardline Wahabis who are not pleased with the current rulers, I have no idea what & of support they have, but it is alarming.  Some of them do seek to topple the "US Puppet" regime and replace it with an even MORE extremist government.  Then you apparently have many Saudi youth who are disgusted with Wahabism and want to be free, I do not believe they pose a threat to the current regime or have the numbers to rise up.

Well Saudi is hardly a country.  More like a US protected colony.  If the Americans left (can't see that happening) the Saudis would be forced into making a deal with another world power to protect them from invasion.  Any battle for the Saudi kingdom would be a proxy war, I don't think anyone is ready to challenge America's hegemony over the Kingdom quite yet.

I would love to see the Saudi regime toppled however.

Okay, well I am not a fan whatsoever of the current Iranian regime I have a VERY FOND perception of the Iranian people.  I have many Iranian friends and love to discuss politics with them.  I support Iran over the Arabs in regards to the Gulf islands, Bahrain, and defeintely support the Shiites of Eastern Saudi.  The Shia is discriminated against by the same intolerant ones who are targeting the Christians.  This cannot be ignored!

The Saudis think they are allied with the US. The US never considers KSA as an ally, behind the scene it only views the Saudis as some cheap-ignorant donkeys whom oil, wealth and influence in Sunni world could be used. By the time there is no more need for them, the US will kick them hard. Aside from the UK, the Americans do not consider any country as their ally for life..including the state of Israel. When there are not enough reasons to be friends, then they are done.

I don't think you have to be the US intelligence head to know that, Saudi Arabia's fine nationals are linked to almost to every attack against infidels in the world, and are financing everything from Al Qaida, to Boko Haram in Nigeria, to Abu Sayyaf in the Phillipines, etc etc etc.

Hopefully one day the world wakes up.

For now, all we hear about is "Iran Iran!"
