Alssalam alaikum
I was just wondering wether other brothers and sisters celebrate birthdays. I used to celebrate mine when i was a child but when i hit my teenage years, it was just a day where i became older, special, yet not to the point of partying.

We do remember birthdays in our household but not with parties. Only children gets party. Grownup don't.

We also celebrate anniversary.

Funny you should ask that, because I don't recall having a b'day party thrown for me not even when I was a kid.

Sometimes. I think when I get older I'll just have cake and maybe go to a sister's house :3 Right now, I have birthday parties.

Definitely I love birthdays. In my family there is a party each year for birthdays ( bigger parties for children or milestones like 21,30,40..) :) a lot of food and a cake made by nanna. Italians love a party!

Aren't those usually Sunni fatwas?
