well if he cant even talk he must be very young leik a toodler.  he should be learning how to eat by himself or use the potty and stuff leik that thats more essential to him now.  other stuff can wait till later.

Salam Alaikom sister.

It's great that you want to educate your son from such a young age . The young people's heart is still inoncent and it is the right moment when you should teach them.

Tell him stuff that would scare him ..such as hell fire . Describe him hell fire like it is described in the quran . Inshallah he will fear the punishment of Allah and will do good deeds.

Put into his mind that god exist , make him acknowledge who is God ..that the creation of the universe didn't come like this but with a creator behind

he's a baby and he's too young to argue =) so inshallah these could be the first steps

بَقِيَّتُ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

What remains with Allah (Baqiyatullah) is better for you if you are believers.. (Hud : 86)

If he is too young perhaps the best thing you can do is practice proper deen in front of him. An Islamic home environment is essential.

Other than that, that are cute cartoons available online about deen, akhlaaq, simple Arabic, etc that you can allow him to view for a certain amount of time per day. Something you can condition children into and teach them important principles while they enjoy the experience.

i know this is sisters forum, but i just want to mention that maybe it isnt a good idea to teach him about hell and scary things from a young age. this will maybe make him view god as scary and someone who will just punish him, rather he should be bought up by teaching him about God's mercies and his love towards us. I like most shias was bought up fearing God and doing worship just out of fear of hell fire and attainment of heaven. I'm sure you must have heard about the hadith by imam Ali (as) where he mentions that there are three types of worship, the worship of a Slave(worships in fear of Allah), the worship of buisness men(worships to reach Jannah), and the worship of freemen(worship out of love).

Teaching children to love and appreciate Allah's s.w.t mercy, compassion, favours in my opinion is better, and then teach him about the consequences of disobedience when he is older. its just my humble opinion. Allahul-alim
