I just had a question about this.

Is it mustahab or obligatory to wear hijab while reading Quran?

Thanks in advance.
"The best thing [about hijab] is that at night, when you're alone, you see your beautiful hair and beautiful body and know that Allah swt has blessed you with such beauty. And you feel proud of that beauty, it's all yours since you don't have to share it with anyone. But when you put on that hijab of Fatima Zahra and Zaynab sa, this beauty isn't yours. This beauty is theirs and it makes you feel elevated and honored. It makes me feel even more beautiful.

And when I observe my hijab, it makes me feel like the most courageous soldier on this Earth. To have the hijab of Zaynab!!! Dear Lord, it gives me power! No one can understand the energy running through my veins."

Asalamu Alaikum,,

iv had the same question,, so i usually wear it just incase,, does anyone know any authentic Hadiths on this subject ??
science without religion is lame,, religion without science is blind,, thats pretty obvious,, but wen so many things in the Quran say things about the natural world before science can prove it,, how isnt that enough proof in Islam,,

When i die, show no pity...
Bury me deep in karabala city...

Tell my mum I did my best...

No you don't have to wear it whilst reading Qur'an. You only have to abide by your hijab when you're out, obviously in front of non-mahrams, and during your prayer.

One regret, dear world,
That I am determined not to have
When I am lying on my deathbed
Is that
I did not kiss you enough.

I started teaching in a madressa again and going through the curriculum, it says that it is recommended to cover the head while reciting Quran. I assume this applies to men, as well.
