Neda Soltan’s Stone

Bullet scared
Your stone bears your purity
Your stone bears their hate
And I have been accused of idolatry
Praying at your martyr’s grave.

Basiji’s Bullet
Piercing so many hearts
Tearing through your flesh
Striping away the veil
Your soul’s innocents.

The bullet
Opened the wounds of my corruption
Now my soul bears the acid of their hate
So, I kneel at your martyr’s grave
Gasping at your beauty
Here is ***.

Can't use Shia imagery in connection with this.

Trying to fan flames are you?

You know allot of people get killed every day - in numerous ways - many of them tragic. Why do you feel the need to post multiple times about this particular death. This is your second poem about this woman.

You are acting as if she was some sort of great leader of humanity. She was a normal person who got shot (by god knows who) and then died - tragic, but not the indication of some sort of incredible personality.

it amazes me to the extent that you are going to try and fan flames of sedition and mischief.

its sad becuz she is an iranian killed in plain day light in iran by another iranian and no matter where u live we all saw it happen so it makes it even sadder.  whats worse is they never did anything to the basiji guy who shot her even tho the people got his name and Id card so they knew who he was.

edit i jjust looked it up.  his name is Abbas Kargar Javid. in the video it says it shows him walking away without a shirt after the people took it and his card but i dont wanna click on it again becuz i dont wanna see her death again.

Al-Mufeed, Don’t you feel strange that you have censored the word that proclaims your belief more than any other?  This censorship, it should make you question the very ground your standing on.  This word is not an obscenity.  It is not a vulgarity.  Yet, you have treated this word as if it were one.  Your action only makes this word louder.  It is my hope that ever tyrannical government on this planet will hear it.  Thank you, for helping me.

Neda was most likely killed by the same people who murdered the nuclear scientists. A Basiji can never commit murder because they are aware of the ultimate consequence of murder in Islam--the consequence on the day of Qayyamat. Whereas MEK (who are supported by Israel) wouldn't think twice before murdering innocent people to accomplish their goal of creating chaos in Iran. Neda's murder helped enemies of Iran more--keep that in mind!

It was me that censored the poem. He used the name of a Shia holy city in order to compare this 'martyrdom' to the one we revere. In the overall context of the poem I think that is highly offensive. I am suspending his ability to post for 48 hours. And this thread will be deleted as well.

Kids dying in Africa. People blasted in Syria. Women raped every day. Palestinians being denied land. Child and cheap labour. Neda Soltan?

One regret, dear world,
That I am determined not to have
When I am lying on my deathbed
Is that
I did not kiss you enough.

Sure. I'm not denying her death and the horrific nature of it and may Allah grant her heaven if He knows of her innocence. But, crux of the matter is that she's a propaganda tool. Africans are murdered by Africans, Syrians by Syrians, Lebanese by Lebanese. It's baseless to say what you did. No use lamenting over something that's frankly, not worth lamenting over when put in perspective with the bigger, realer issue at hand.
