From calling for the demolition of the Pyramids to blaming Iran for the Football riots that killed 100 or so fans to advocating necrophilia and to disrupting parliament with spontaneous outburst of a call to prayer...the more i look at it the more i believe that the wahabis are a foreign conspiracy to destroy the essence of Islam.

I feel sorry for the Egyptians, they were deceived into putting their faith onto a buch of clueless wahabis when what they wanted from the revolution was to move forward not backwards.!!












Egyptian prosecutors asked parliament on Saturday for permission to investigate an Islamist MP police say was caught performing an "indecent" act with a woman in public, official media reported.
The official MENA news agency quoted a police report saying that Ali Wanis, a cleric and MP for the ultra-conservative al-Nur party, was found engaged in an "indecent" act with a 22-year-old woman in a car parked on a highway on Thursday.
Wanis has issued a public statement denying the allegation and said in a video posted in his website that he had parked along the side of the road because his passenger "became sick."
Judicial sources told Agence France Presse that the prosecution's request in such cases, when someone is caught in the act, is a formality and the prosecution has summoned Wanis for questioning.
Al-Nur party, which represents the more conservative brand of Salafi Islam, won the second largest number of seats in parliamentary elections last winter.
It was hit with a scandal in March when another lawmaker was forced to resign from parliament and from his party after claiming he was injured in a carjacking -- to explain bandages on his face -- when in fact he had had a nose job.

Wait! They really did call for the demolition of the pyramids? I thought this was just a rumor or talk.

As for the original story...doesn't surprise me.

Yeah they did, I think it was the Sphinx to be precise but there saudi god Fathers probably advised them, that now was not the time for it, so they swept the issue under the carpet or put it on hold for a while.

Sunnis believe in 1000's of fabricated hadiths of abu hurraira (a guy that only new the prophet for a few years), you get all sorts of bizarre stuff from them, from hadiths that a verse of the quaran went missing because a goat ate it, to Allah swt  filling hell up with kafirs so much that he used his leg (astagfirallh)  to squash them in till hell screams out, thats enough.
