Aslamalaykum,

@Ibrahim786

Brother, I love the sahaba and always have done, in gatherings I speak about them and the sacrifices they made for Islam, if it wasn't for Ahlul bayt and them we wouldn't be here.

The other thread bro was to show on occassions how majority of the sahaba deserted the Holy Prophet s.a.w.w, complained when He made his decisions, spoke rudely, raised the voices etc etc

Now you would agree with me that anyone that never showed respect to the Holy Prophet s.a.w.w, how can we have respect for them as individuals.

the people that never showed respect to the prophet pbuh were the likes of abu jahl, abu lahab and abdullah bin ubay - so yes I agree we can never show these people respect.

If you think about it logically - the sahabah especially the first believers which includes the likes of abu bakr ra supported the prophet pbuh in the early days in Makkah when it would been easier for them not to support him pbuh because of how dominant and oppresive the Quraish were against the muslims. Yet these sahabahs sacrificed alot and supported the prophet pbuh in Makkah FOR 13 YEARS !!!!

Now they also supported the prophet pbuh in Madinah for 10 years when the muslims had the upper hand and a state, masjid etc etc. If they were insincere and unruly they would have left the prophet pbuh in Makkah when the mushriqeen had the upper hand on the muslims and tormented them and not in Madinah.

now the issue in uhud was not the case for every sahabi and not the majority had ran away. those that did run away did so out of confusion due to hearing the prophet pbuh had been killed. Hence umar ra "running away" in uhud was out of character as could be seen when in makkah and when he became a khalifah. In makkah he single handedly challenged the polythiests to a one on one duel if they had a problem with his islam. Also remember that talha ra and saad bin abi waqqas were the heroes as talha ra would catch the arrows directed to the prophet pbuh with his hands and saad ra would shoot the arrows to protect the prophet pbuh and abu ubaidah ra was like a bodygaurd to the prophet pbuh and infact he pulled the metal with his teeth from the cheek of the prophet pbuh and infact he lost a front tooth.

Im sorry say but when I hear the shia degrade the sahabah - to me it appears they really do not have a clue about the seerah of the prophet pbuh from the early days !!!!!!!!!

It really isn't helpful you bandying around catchall phrases like "shia degrade the sahaba." Shi'ah have low opinion of a handful of prominent early 'Muslims' (supported by Noble Quran, Prophetic Narrations & Tareekh) but we also have love and respect for many great sahaba and neutrality towards others.

Tell me though, what would ANY person gain in this life or the akhira'ah by abusing a known good Muslim? Please don't rush to answer, I want you to ponder on this then respond.

There isn't a single Shi'ah alive who would be negative towards any person who loved and was loved by the Prophet (S) and Imams Úáíå ÇáÓáÇã and showed it in his or her words, deeds and actions.

Allah Almighty announced the Adhan ever since the dawn of Creation with the inclusion of the third Shahada.
Imam al Sadiq (as) said: “We the family of the Prophet were the first to have their names pronounced. When Allah created the Heaven and Earth he ordered a call to be made. It was announced 'I testify that there is no God but Allah three times, I testify that Mohammed is his messenger three times and I testify that Ali is the Commander of the Faithful three times.'”

Hazrath uthman ghani dhul nurain ra

Hadrat Uthman’s reign constituted a glorious period in the history of Islam. The territories of Islamic state (caliphate) were immensely extended. Though the conquests during his time were not so much in number as during the time of ‘Umar, nevertheless they were not few. He ruled over a vast part of the then known world, right from Kabul (Afghanistan) to Morocco. He put down the rebellions with an iron hand.

During Hadrat Uthman’s period Muslim naval force was developed and Muslims started naval victories. The victory over the huge naval force of Byzantine Empire comprising 500 ships has been termed as the Grand Victory.

After the capture of North African territories by Muslims and gaining full control over Mediterranean, the mighty power of Byzantine and Roman Empire had collapsed. Actually Islam was at the zenith of its glory during the period of

Thus we see that during the caliphate of Hadrat Uthman (R.A.) the Muslims conquered a number of new areas. They took over Antalya and Asia Minor in the west including Cyprus. Afghanistan, Samarkand, Tashkent, Trukmennistan, Khurasan and Tabrastan in the East and North East; and Libya, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco in North Africa. In this way Muslims were ruling over a vast part of Asia and Africa viz. Afghanistan, Turkmennistan, Uzbekistan, Persia or Iran, Iraq, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and of course Arabia (now Saudi Arabia) and Yemen including the Gulf states. All these countries and places were under one flag, and the Islamic state was far bigger than any one of the past mighty Byzantine or Persian Empires. Islam as a religion was also prevailing in Abyssinia (now Ethiopia) and in some parts of East and Central Africa though these places were not under the direct control of the Caliphate.

One of the magnificent services to Islam done by Hadrat Uthman (R.A.) was to safeguard any possible change in the codex of the Holy Qur'an. After the conquests by the Muslims hundreds of thousands of non-Arabs, whose mother tongue was not Arabic, accepted Islam because of its teachings. Hadrat Hudhaifah (R.A.), one of the prominent Companions of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam), went for "Jihad" (Holy War) during that time and noticed many differences in the manner of recitation (Qira't) of the Holy Qur'an. The Syrians recited in a way different from that of Kufis while the Kufis differed from Basris and so on. As a matter of fact these differences were due to the differences in the way of writing Arabic. Seeing this condition Hadrat Hudhaifah reported the matter to the Khalifah on his return from the "Jihad" and suggested that the Medinese codex should be regarded as authentic, i.e. the Holy Qur'an, which was written and compiled in Book form during the time of Hadrat Abu Bakr (R.A.) and was kept with Ummul-mumminin Hadrat Hafsah (R.A.). Hadrat Uthman (R.A.) took that Book from Hadrat Hafsah(R.A.) and canonised the Medinese codex. He asked Hadrat Zaid bin Thabit (R.A.), the person who wrote it during the time of Hadrat Abu Bakr, to make copies of the same with the help of some other Companions like Abdullah bin Zubair and Sa'd bin 'As etc. Then he ordered all other copies, beside the Medinese codex, to be burnt and destroyed throughout the State. Those people who earned their living in the provinces as the receptacles and expositors of the sacred text were not pleased with this act. It has been discussed before that such persons criticised Uthman for burning unauthentic texts. However for this great service Hadrat Uthman (R.A.) is famous as the "Jami'ul-Qur'an" (The compiler of the Qur'an).

AYUBI786

Salaam brother

Dhun nurain
Holder of two lights

Reason being

Hadrat Uthman (R.A.) migrated second time with other Muslims to Medina. He could not participate in the first battle of Islam against non-believers of Mecca at Badr, because his wife was very ill. She died before the Muslims returned from Badr after the victory. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) gave him glad tidings that he would get the same reward as though he had participated in the battle. After the death of Hadrat Ruqayyah (R.A.), the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) married his next daughter, "Umm Kulthum" with him and he was given the title of "Dhun-nurain" i.e., the man with two lights.

Hazrath Ali kaw ra

After Hadrat Uthman's Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu martyrdom, the office of the caliphate remained unfilled for two or three days. Many people insisted that Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu should take up the office, but he was embarrassed by the fact that the people who pressed him hardest were the rebels, and he therefore declined at first. When the notable Companions of the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam urged him, however, he finally agreed.

Hadrat Ali's Life

Hadrat Ali bin Abi Talib Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu was a first cousin of the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam . More than that, he had grown up in the Most Beloved Prophet's Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam own household, later married his youngest daughter, Fatima Radi Allahu Ta'ala anha, and remained in closest association with him for nearly thirty years.

Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu was ten years old when the Divine Message came to Sayyadina Hadrat Muhammad Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam. One night he saw the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam and his wife Khadijah Radi Allahu Ta'ala anha bowing and prostrating. He asked the Most Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam about the meaning of their actions. The Most Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam told him that they were praying to God Most High and that Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu too should accept Islam. Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu said that he would first like to ask his father about it. He spent a sleepless night, and in the morning he went to the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam and said, "When God created me He did not consult my father, so why should I consult my father in order to serve God?" and he accepted the truth of Sayyadina Hadrat Muhammad's Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam message.

When the Divine command came,

"And warn your nearest relatives" (26:214),

Sayyadina Hadrat Muhammad Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam invited his relatives for a meal. After it was finished, he addressed them and asked, "Who will join me in the cause of God?" There was utter silence for a while, and then Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu stood up. "I am the youngest of all present here," he said, "My eyes trouble me because they are sore and my legs are thin and weak, but I shall join you and help you in whatever way I can." The assembly broke up in derisive laughter. But during the difficult wars in Makkah, Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu stood by these words and faced all the hardships to which the Muslims were subjected. He slept in the bed of the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam when the Quraish planned to murder Sayyadina Hadrat Muhammad Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam. It was he to whom the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam entrusted, when he left Makkah, the valuables which had been given to him for safekeeping, to be returned to their owners.

Apart from the expedition of Tabuk, Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu fought in all the early battles of Islam with great distinction, particularly in the expedition of Khaybar. It is said that in the Battle of Uhud he received more than sixteen wounds. The Most Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam loved Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu dearly and called him by many fond names. Once the Most Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam found him sleeping in the dust. He brushed off Hadrat Ali's Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu clothes and said fondly, "Wake up, Abu Turab (Father of Dust)." The Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam also gave him the title of 'Asadullah' ('Lion of Allah').

Hadrat Ali's Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu humility, austerity, piety, deep knowledge of the Qur'an al-Kareem and his sagacity gave him great distinction among the Beloved Prophet's Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam Companions. Hadrat Abu Bakr, Hadrat 'Umar and Hadrat Uthman Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhum consulted him frequently during their caliphates. Many times Hadrat 'Umar Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu had made him his vice-regent at Madinah when he was away. Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu was also a great scholar of Arabic literature and pioneered in the field of grammar and rhetoric. His speeches, sermons and letters served for generations afterward as models of literary expression. Many of his wise and epigrammatic sayings have been preserved. Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu thus had a rich and versatile personality. In spite of these attainments he remained a modest and humble man. Once during his caliphate when he was going about the marketplace, a man stood up in respect and followed him. "Do not do it," said Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu. "Such manners are a temptation for a ruler and a disgrace for the ruled."

Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu and his household lived extremely simple and austere lives. Sometimes they even went hungry themselves because of Hadrat Ali's Radi Allahu Taala anhu great generosity, and none who asked for help was ever turned away from his door. His plain, simple style of living did not change even when he was ruler over a vast domain.
As mentioned previously, Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu accepted the caliphate very reluctantly. Hadrat Uthman's Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu murder and the events surrounding it were a symptom, and also became a cause, of civil strife on a large scale. Hadrat Ali felt that the tragic situation was mainly due to inept governors. He therefore dismissed all the governors who had been appointed by Hadrat Uthman Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu and appointed new ones. All the governors besides Muawiya, the governor of Syria, submitted to his orders. Muawiya declined to obey until Hadrat Uthman's Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu blood was avenged. The Beloved Prophet's Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam widow Aisha Radi Allahu Ta'ala anha also took the position that Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu should first bring the murderers to trial. Due to the chaotic conditions during the last days of Hadrat Uthman Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu it was very difficult to establish the identity of the murderers, and Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu refused to punish anyone whose guilt was not lawfully proved. Thus a battle between the army of Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu and the supporters of Aisha Radi Allahu Ta'ala anha took place. Aisha Radi Allahu Ta'ala anha later realised her error of judgment and never forgave herself for it.
"You [Ali] are my brother in this world and the next." (Hadith)

After Hadrat Uthman's Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu martyrdom, the office of the caliphate remained unfilled for two or three days. Hadrat Ali's Caliphate

As mentioned previously, Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu accepted the caliphate very reluctantly. Aisha Radi Allahu Ta'ala anha later realised her error of judgment and never forgave herself for it.

The situation in Hijaz (the part of Arabia in which Makkah and Madinah are located) became so troubled that Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu moved his capital to Iraq. Hadrat Muawiya Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu now openly rebelled against Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu and a fierce battle was fought between their armies. This battle was inconclusive, and Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu had to accept the de facto government of Hadrat Muawiya Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu in Syria.

However, even though the era of Hadrat Ali's Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu caliphate was marred by civil strife, he nevertheless introduced a number of reforms, particularly in the levying and collecting of revenues.

It was the 40th year of Hijra. A fanatical group called Khawaarij, consisting of people who formed a sect and had broken away from Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu due to his compromise with Hadrat Mua'wiya Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu, claimed that neither Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu the Caliph, nor Hadrat Mua'wiya Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu the ruler of Syria, nor Amr bin al-Aas the ruler of Egypt, were worthy of rule. In fact, they went so far as to say that the true caliphate came to an end with Hadrat Umar Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu and that Muslims should live without any ruler over them except God. They vowed to kill all three rulers, and assassins were dispatched in three directions.

The assassins who were deputed to kill Hadrat Mua'wiya Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu and Amr bin al-Aas did not succeed and were captured and executed, but Ibn-e-Muljim, the assassin who was commissioned to kill Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu, accomplished his task. One morning when Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu was absorbed in prayer in a Mosque, Ibn-e-Muljim stabbed him with a poisoned sword. On the 20th of Ramadan, 40h. Hadrat Imam Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu passed away, and his son Hadrat Imam Hasan Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu briefly became the 5th Rightly Guided Caliph after the first four main Caliphs of Islam.

May Allah the Most High be pleased with the Rightly-Guided Caliphs and grant to them His eternal reward.

May Allah swt guide us on the straight path

Hadrat Ali's Election

Hadrat Ali's Caliphate

As mentioned previously, Hadrat Ali Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu accepted the caliphate very reluctantly.

ALI

Yes you degrade the sahabah - and you degrade the majority of the sahabah NOT only a handful. Infact you respect only a handful of the sahabah.
Is it good to abuse systematically any muslim? bad or good? especially those 1400 years ago?. Infact is it good to abuse any human being like the shia vilify the sahabah.

to me this thread clearly has shown that for the shia the seerah of the prophet pbuh started with ghadir khum or even his pbuh death. the shias do not know the full story of the migration to Abysinia, Yathrib (Madinah), Badr,Uhud, Hunanyn, Taif nor do they know the sacrifices in Makkah etc etc.

Im sorry to say but the shias only know one liners from sunni sources for their agenda - and thats the seerah of the prophet pbuh

For those sahaba who turned on their heels when the Prophet died, their good deeds mean nothing. When they had usurped the seat of caliph while the Prophets dead body was still warm, they had attacked the house of Lady Fatima, they had waged wars on people who refused to pay taxes to them (the people who did not feel abu bakr was the rightful heir to the islamic kingdom) and had raised their voice infront of the Prophet and called him delirious, they had secured their spots in the hell fire.

I did not want to dignify this foolish statement with a response but i gotta let u kno "bro" shia-n-Ali no more about the prophets childhood then anyone in ur madhabs. I can give u the name of some books if you want to learn about it? you should know about the time when Bani Hashim was being boycotted by the Quraish and only Bani Abdul Muttalib joined the Hashemis? Abu Lahab however decided to join the rest of the Quraish against the clan of Prophet Muhammad Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÂáå æÓáã. where was abu bakr and umar at this time?

Well done, for bringing this up. This really correlates or tally's up with them running away from battle fields, is show there imaan was weak.

Their behavior after the death of the prophet belittles all the good deeds they did during the time of the prophet. Sometimes it makes you wonder if their intention was to help Islam or gain wealth & power eventually.

its a bit of daft question - you can ask where was abu dhar ra or any other sahabah shias respect? Although its true the bani hasim primarily and bani zuhra I believe also were subject to this boycott - but as far as my understanding goes - ALL the muslims suffered aswell.

Abu bakr ra was beaten to death almost in the very early days when he tried to protect the prophet pbuh from the Makkan mobs- Did you know that?
Umar ra challenged the leaders of Quraish to a duel if they followed him when he migrated to Madinah? Did you know that?
Uthman ra was tortured and beaten by his own uncle to leave islam but he ra refused - Did you know that?

but do you know what the difference is between you and I i.e. sunnis and shias. We sunnis love and honour ali ra and acknowledge his sacrifices whereas the shias are ignorant or "brush under the carpet" the sacrifices of abu bakr ra, umar ra and uthman ra because it will expose the falsehood and establish the truth

If you honestly believe that abu bakr ra and umar ra "usurped" the khalifah for power and wealth - then I am sorry to say that you know little of their khilafat. Abu bakr ra and Umar ra did not live a life of luxury even when in power - infact they did not gain any wealth and lived a simple life like the prophet pbuh lived and a much simpler life than you or I live today !!!!

Sahih Bukhari, Vol.8, Book 76, #578. (Tradition #6576) Narrated 'Abdullah: "The Prophet said, "I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount." 'Abdullah added: The Prophet said, "I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount, and some of you will be brought in front of me till I will see them and then they will be taken away from me and I will say, 'O Lord, my companions!' It will be said, 'You do not know what they did after you had left."

Sahih al-Bukhari Hadith:Vol 5, Book 59, 488(#4170)
Narrated al-Musaiyab: I met al-Bara bin 'Azib and said (to him). "May you live prosperously! You enjoyed the company of the
Prophet and gave him the Pledge of allegiance (of al-Hudaibiya) under the Tree (of al-Hudaybiyah)." On
that, al-Bara' said, "O my nephew! You do not know what we have done after him (i.e. his death)."

Tarikh Baghdad of Al-Khateeb Al-Baghdadi, 11/173:
The Prophet said, “Every prophet has an executor and inheritor, and my executor and inheritor is ALI.”

Research Ghadir Khum and read the sermons of Hadhrath Ali(as), that even your own scholars agree are authentic to understand that the Caliph was usurped from Hadhrath Ali (as). Abu Bakr and Umar derailed the line of succession of the Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÂáå æÓáã and also waged the Ridda wars because many did not accept his claim to caliph. Chk the thread "The Question for Knowledgeable Sunnis" i gave references there where it shows from sunni sources that force was used against Imam Ali(as) and Bani Hashim to make them recognize abu bakrs caliph.

Im sorry brother but how can you say that our scholars agree that the khalifah was usurped !!!!! its like your scholars saying imamah is a made up theory - you might aswell go home.

In terms of the hadiths you have quoted - this first one I believe is in reference to his pbuh ummah in general as insha Allah we will be accompanying him in the hereafter as the prophet pbuh will act as our interceder

the second one is logical - i.e. that the sahabahs would never count on their good actions during the life of the prophet pbuh as this sahabi was praised for. This sahabi and the sahabah in general were always cautious until death and never let shaytaan trick them into thinking that they have done enough for jannah

Most of those good Sahaba from influential families were from Banu Hashim such as Hazrat Hamza (ra) or Hazrat Jaffer Tayyar (ra).
Other Sahabas who were sincere and good momineen were mostly outsiders or those coming from very poor backgrounds such as Salman Farsi or Ammar Yasir.

Mostly those who were from rich families and clans were traitors or munafiqoon. They were good runners though as whenever hard times fell on Prophet (s), they ran so fast that some of them crossed the city limits from the other side. :)

Sunni scholars (the educated ones) understand the strife between the companions after the Prophet's (pbuh) death. You should read about it from sunni scholars just as i have. I had asked a sunni madras teacher that i was debating if he knew any books that have the sermons of abu bakr, as many sermons of Imam Ali are preserved. He didnt give me the sermons instead he gave me a book with two halves of different sermons in it and earlier on in the book it clearly says that force was used against Bani Hashim to make them acknowledge abu bakrs legitimacy as caliph. It is a well known fact, and when u see the history you see why they villify and spread lies about Shia muslims.

(There are also many hadith on the topic.)

I spoke to a sunni hanafi sheikh who told me they do not look at the controversies after the death of Nabi Muhammad Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÂáå æÓáã between the companions because they are all great people and we do not want to make ourselves sin by thinking wrong about them.
So i asked him if they basically turn a blind eye towards everything? He said Yes.... always remember, In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king........

Personally, I think invading Persia was the best thing `Umar ever did.
And they serve beside Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you (presume to) inform Allah of what He knows not in the heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and supremely exalted is He above what they set up (with Him). [Qur'an 10:18, Shakir translation]

Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah (alone) and (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, (saying), We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful. The problem is u have 4 different schools of thought who interpret the hadith differently and say all ways are the right way. Thats why u need the teachings of Ulil Amr to seperate quranic teachings from innovations. If you were to read the sermons of Imam Ali (as) u would understand that they are filled with wisdom and you would recognize their importance.

Personally, I think invading Persia was the best thing `Umar ever did.

Tirmidhi, Hadith:6244
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) recited this verse, "If you turn back He will substitute other people
for you and they will not be like you. The people asked, "Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who are
these people whom Allah has mentioned will be substituted for us if we turn back and will not be like us?"
He struck Salman al-Farisi on the thigh and said, "This man and his people. If the religion were in the Pleiades
men from among the Persians would attain it."

Bukhari, Hadith:6420
While we were sitting with the Prophet Surat Al-Jumu'a was revealed to him, and when the Verse,
"And He (Allah) has sent him (Muhammad) also to other (Muslims)..."(62.3) was recited by the Prophet,
I said, "Who are they, O Allah's Apostle?" The Prophet did not reply till I repeated my question thrice. At
that time, Salman Al-Farisi was with us. So Allah's Apostle put his hand on Salman, saying, "If Faith were
at (the place of) Ath-Thuraiya (the pleiades, the highest star), even then (some men or man from these people
(i.e. Salman's folk) would attain it."

Persia would've come under the islamic empire regardless if umar was there or not. It was the will of Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì.

Meh. I'm not so bothered about those places. At least they aren't still crying about it.

ok lol- are you implying the persians are crying about the fact they were conquered by muslim forces?

The problem is u have 4 different schools of thought who interpret the hadith differently and say all ways are the right way. Thats why u need the teachings of Ulil Amr to seperate quranic teachings from innovations. If you were to read the sermons of Imam Ali (as) u would understand that they are filled with wisdom and you would recognize their importance.

the 4 different schools do not differ on the most important aspects, or the tenents or the compulsory elements. We see this as a blessing as it means every sunnah or most of the sunnah is still present on this earth

yes but umar ra was the means - everything happens with the will of Allah swt. if you familiriase yourself with the conquest of persia you will see that Allah swt help came with the muslims even when they were inferior in terms of manpower and armspower

You do talk some piffle but strangely I like your childish zeal:

"The time when Sufian Thuri (great scholar of Islam) heard news about the death of Imam Abu Hanifah he said ‘Praise be to Allah that such a man had died as he was gradually destroying Islam. There could not be a worse person born in Islam’."

Imam Bukhari Tareekh Sagheer (biography of Imam Abu Hanifah)

"On two occasions Imam Abu Hanifah was ordered to repent from making blasphemous statements."

Khitab al Daufa Walmat Rukin by Imam Bukhari / Al Intiqa By Imam Abdul 'barr

If everything happens with the will of Allah (JJH) then was Yazeed (LA) acting on Allah's will? More importantly, why would Allah (JJH) need the conquest of a foreign country by force?

ALI
Allah Almighty announced the Adhan ever since the dawn of Creation with the inclusion of the third Shahada.
Imam al Sadiq (as) said: “We the family of the Prophet were the first to have their names pronounced. When Allah created the Heaven and Earth he ordered a call to be made. It was announced 'I testify that there is no God but Allah three times, I testify that Mohammed is his messenger three times and I testify that Ali is the Commander of the Faithful three times.'”
