So today's Mother's Day and Mom wanted some of my pizza so I decided to take a pic and post a recipe!

You will need:

PIzza dough (I used Trader Joe's)
Shredded mozzarella cheese.
Shredded cheddar cheese.
1/2 a packet of small sliced mushrooms.
1 can of black olives, sliced (or you can use green olives, whatever floats your boat)
1 big green bell pepper, sliced in small pieces.
1/2 jar of pizza sauce of your choosing.
Curry powder
Pepper
Salt

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees on bake. Spray your pizza pan with cooking spray or just rub it with oil so the pizza doesn't stick. Take the dough out of the bag. Knead it with your hands and roll it into a ball, let sit for about 20 minutes. Then, if you know how to shape a pizza using your hands (which is what I did) toss it between your hands until you get the round pizza shape, or use a dough roller to stretch it out. Once you have your pizza shape, spread your dough over the pan. Put the pan in the oven, and let the dough bake for about 5-10 minutes.

Step 2: While the dough is baking, slice up your mushrooms, pepper and olives if you haven't done so already. Use salt, pepper, curry and whatever else you'd like to add flavor to the mushrooms. Shred the mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Once your pizza dough is done baking, take it out of the oven - it should be pretty soft and a little golden around the edges.

Step 3: Open your jar of pizza sauce and spread it onto the pizza crust. Spread as much as you'd like! I personally like to add a lot, I think it adds nice flavor. Once your done with the sauce, spread the shredded cheddar and mozzarella over the pizza, particularly over the edges, but leave some cheese to add over the toppings (I learned that adding cheese to the toppings keeps everything from falling off). After the cheese, add the olives on top, then the mushrooms and peppers, then add the rest of the shredded cheese over the toppings.

Step 4: Now raise the heat of your oven to 375-400 degrees. Put your pizza in the oven and let it bake until it's golden. Since the pizza is already baked, it's a good idea to turn on the top of your oven to toast the toppings. Once you see your pizza is golden and crispy, take it out and turn off the oven.

Step 5: Allow the pizza to cool. Slice, eat up and enjoy!!! This is what mine looked like:

And you feel proud of that beauty, it's all yours since you don't have to share it with anyone. But when you put on that hijab of Fatima Zahra and Zaynab sa, this beauty isn't yours. This beauty is theirs and it makes you feel elevated and honored. It makes me feel even more beautiful.

And when I observe my hijab, it makes me feel like the most courageous soldier on this Earth. To have the hijab of Zaynab!!! Dear Lord, it gives me power! No one can understand the energy running through my veins."

Lol, agreed! Just let it cool enough so it doesn't burn your tongue.

If I could find all of those ingredients in organic, that would be awesome. I should look for them next time I am in Whole Foods/Trader Joe's. For right now, I usually get the Amy's organic pizza.

Yeah mushrooms don't taste good on their own, that was why I added the salt and pepper and curry.
