http://www.edurussian.com/

The guy says if you are interested you have to send him copies of all your documents.

I emailed him a question about documents and he said he can't answer until I send them to him, which I found kind of shady.

So anyway if any of yall can find a third party who can attest to the legitness of this website, please share. I am too lazy to googool it for myself, and googool never finds anything useful anyway. I'm just wondering if this is standard procedure? Sending your documents to complete strangers on the internet?

Why don't you just contact the nearest Russian embassy to you?

Yeah...and ask them who to contact to study there. You don't want your personal information landing in a fake documents crime ring.

There is no Russian embassy or any embassy anywhere near where I am.

Maybe I could email the Russian embassy, I dunno. Thanks for the reply, haji.

Come on now. The site has a bunch of different languages at the top (including Farsi!!) The guy must be legit.

Oh man... I just learned that in Germany, tuition is capped at 500 euros per term. A German education at Russian prices! Maybe I should go there. Do they have a shady website I can give my documents to?

Alright so I searched the interweb, and I found this website supposedly belonging to the Russian consulate in New York: http://www.ruscon.org/

It doesn't seem that official... AND their contact email is a gmail. What the hell? Is this a real site?

Also, I just learned that you need to take an AIDS test to get a student visa. lolololololololol...

lolololololol

Would they accept if I just told them "Trust me: I don't have AIDS" and then winked? lololololol

oh no loooool

anyway baradar it seems you need to get a school in russia to send you an invitation then send the rest of the required documentation to the russian consulate http://www.ruscon.or...tml#studentvisa unless you already decided on germany instead.

stay away from the other site if you have doubts about it

I wouldn't send anyone in Russia my confidential documents.

Next thing you know, the Embassy of Sweden will be sending INTERPOL after you for registering a business with links to the mafia.

Russia is a hot bed of Internet scams. My opinion: proceed with caution or don't proceed at all <-

This guy Avbakar Nutsalov, who is the director of racus, seems a real guy.

From Indian news site network: http://www.dnasyndic.../pid=DNMUM53458

edurussian.com is a blatant scam site, it's hosted on the US server and use .com domain while racus.ru is hosted on Russia.

Racus project is listed on official Russian Ministry of Foreign website http://www.google.co...5G8WHrAflr_CJCQ

You have to be careful bro. I am in the consultancy business myself and people can really mess up your life if you do not go to the right consultant or firm. We send people to UK, USA, Canada & Australia for study purposes. And these matters are quite tricky. Just be careful.
