dont wake up at the end of salah time. wake up at the start of salat al fajr - around 3.30am. u should be able to get back to sleep because there will be at least 4 hrs left to sleep
this i have to admit, though i have tried, i have not tried very often. i'll definitely try this again, though i'm not very optimistic.
by the way
salah begins around 4:40.
Thanks for the suggestion. Still taking advice.

Siesta.... All you need is a power nap in the middle of your waking time, say right after asr salat or right after isha. Sleep just for 30-45 min. This will keep you going for till late night and also will wake up for Fajr fresh. Then do not go back to sleep after Fajr, pick some workout or net surfing.
Hope this helps.
It is extremely difficult for me to nap during the day. I can do it on occasion, but most of the time it doesn't really help just because I cannot fall asleep.
Sorry to be negative about most suggestions, but i'm a sensitive sleeper and i've played around with my sleeping habits quite a bit.
