When tears flow out, Allah forbids them from the Fire. And if a person weeps in a nation, such nation will receive favors."

it doesn't matter if we finish one day later . It's still around 15th shaaban

Actually I think starting today (28th may fajr) is the correct date, because 1st of Rajab was predicted to be Tuesday the 22nd but then it turned out to be Wednesday the 23rd so 15th Sha'abaan might be one day later than what is predicted by wikipedia so insha'Allah if we start today (fajr time for 28th may) then we will end up reciting dua ahad the 40th time fajr of 15th Sha'abaan

Also just wanted to Clarify that everybody will be reading dua Ahad for 40 days on their own.

So from the Fajr of May 28th till the 15th/16th of Shaban (w/e date that is) each person has to individually recite this dua after their fajr prayer.

Thats a quick notice! so were starting tommorow? by the way i have some questions for my bro who also wants to do dua ahad but doesnt go on this website
1. Is it okay if i read in english?
2. Is it okay if i wake up 6 am or does it have to be before the sun rises?
3. If i were to miss a day would i keep going or is it cancelled? Will it be accepted?

To be honest i dont even know the answers if you could please help (: thank you thank you JazakAllah Khair and ill start tommorow and let you guys know how it went

Certainly, no hope in Allah is pointless, and no guest to Allah (swt) will ever be kicked out (of His mercy).

Brothers and Sisters, Allah (swt) gave his slaves the chance of atonement and repentance so that they will have no excuses on the day of Judgment...the slave's honest repentance pleases Allah (swt)

1. It's always best to read the dua exactly how it was written in Arabic. Maybe follow along while listening to the dua in arabic with transliteration, and read the translation as well.
2. The hadith specified for 40 mornings, I believe that means it should be done before sunrise.
3. Based on my understanding, to get the full effects the dua should be read for 40 consecutive mornings, meaning even if you miss one, your deeds aren't necessarily void, but to get the full effect one should read the dua for 40 days without missing a day.

And Allah (swt) knows best.
