1)How many generations were there between Abraham to David?  Matthew 1:17 lists fourteen generations.  Matthew 1:12-16 lists thirteen generations.

2)Who approached Jesus?  (Matthew 8:5-7)  The Centurion approached Jesus, beseeching help for a sick servant.  (Luke 7:3 & 7:6-7)  The Centurion did not approach Jesus.  He sent friends and elders of the Jews.

3) Paul’s attendants heard the miraculous voice and stood speechless.  Acts 9:7 Paul’s attendants did not hear the voice and were prostrate. Acts 22:9 & 26:14
For a detailed regarding this issue, read http://www.infidels....1/1voice94.html

4) Was she dead or just dying?  (Matthew 9:18)  He asked for help, saying his daughter was already dead.  (Luke 8:41-42)  Jairus approached Jesus for help, because his daughter was
dying.

5) Just what did Jesus instruct them to take?  (Matthew 10:10)  Jesus instructed them not to take a staff, not to wear sandals.  (Mark 6:8-9) Jesus instructed his disciples to wear sandals and take a staff on their journey.

6) When did the fig tree hear of its doom?  (Matthew 21:17-19)  Jesus cursed the fig tree after purging the temple. (Mark 11:14-15 & 20)  He cursed it before the purging.

7) Was John the Baptist Elias?  "This is Elias which was to come."  Matthew 11:14 "And they asked him, what then?  Art thou Elias?  And he said I am not."  John l:21

8) Matthew 2:15, 19 & 21-23 The infant Christ was taken into Egypt.  Luke 2:22 & 39 The infant Christ was NOT taken to Egypt.

9) Matthew 5:1-2 Christ preached his first sermon on the mount.  Luke 6:17 & 20 Christ preached his first sermon in the plain.

10) Where did the devil take Jesus first?  (Matthew 4:5-8)  The Devil took Jesus first to the parapet of the temple, then to a high place to view all the Kingdoms of the world.  (Luke 4:5-9)  The Devil took Jesus first to a high place to view the kingdoms, then to the parapet of the temple.

11) What color was the robe the blessed Jesus was put in? And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe upon him. (Matthew 27:28). And the soldiers plaited a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and arrayed him in a purple robe. (John 19:2)

12) In 1 Corinthians 1:17 ("For Christ sent me [Paul] not to baptize but to preach the gospel") Paul said Jesus was wrong when he said in Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them…" Clearly one of these people is wrong, either way, it’s a contradiction. On top of that even Peter taught it, 1 Pet. 3:21, "and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also -- not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ."

13) Has anyone ascended up to heaven?  Elijah went up to heaven: "And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."  2 Kings 2:11 "No man hath ascended up to heaven but he that came down from heaven, even the son of man."  John 3:13

14) How many angels were within the sepulcher?  John 20:11-12 two, Mark 16:5 one. Just incase that they are not mutually exclusive then say that in Mark 16:6 it shows that one person was talking but in John 20:13 it shows two people talking. Now that is mutually exclusive.
15) Where did Jesus first appear to the eleven disciples?  In a room in Jerusalem.  Luke 24:32-37 On a mountain in Galilee.  Matthew 28:15-17

16) Where did Christ ascend from?  From Mount Olives.  Acts 1:9-12 From Bethany. Luke 24:50-51

17) The Elijah mystery: (Malachi 4:5) Elijah must return before the final days of the world.  (Matthew 11:12-14)  Jesus said that John the Baptist was Elijah.  (Matthew 17:12- 13)  Jesus insists that Elijah has already come, and everyone understood him to mean John the Baptist.  (Mark 9:13)  Jesus insists that Elijah has already come.  (John 1:21)  John the Baptist maintained that he was not Elijah.

18) Jesus took Peter, James and John up the mountain six days (Matthew 17:1) or eight days (Luke 9:7) after he told them that they will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.

19) Matthew 4:18-20 shows that Jesus talked to Peter and Andrew together and they both followed him together but John 1:40-42, shows Andrew followed Jesus first and then he went and informed Peter.

20) Who bought the Sepulcher?  Jacob, Josh 24:32 Abraham, Acts 7:16

21) Are we saved by works as well as faith? Ephesians 2:8-9 says no and James 2:24 says yes.

22) James 1:13 says God tempts no man but Genesis 22:1 says that God tempted Abraham.

Hi,

In Post 22 on the other topic I said:
Since you say “it is full of contradictions,” --- could you list a few legitimate ones in the New Testament?

When I said 'legitimate,' I really meant 'contradictions' in teaching or actions that show some major problems.
There are perhaps 2 or 3 above that appear to be misunderstood. However, I will answer this common "copy and Paste" list.

Some of these are differences of time and description by the writers, but they don't deny the events.

By comparison, I have never called these 'contradictions' in the Quran, but the story of Lot and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorreh is written once in Genesis, and is recounted 7 times in the Quran, and each time with slight variation.
--- However, none of the variations take away from the original happening. --- So, it is the same with most of these.

Q1. O T, but it shows that David descended from Abraham.

Q2. This reveals that even the Roman centurian believed in Jesus' power to heal his sick servant.

Q3. The attendants could have been in both positions, one after the other. The words that Jesus spoke were in Hebrew, 26:14, so the soldiers heard the voice but didn't understand the language. Here are the verses in Acts 9:

1. Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest
2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven.
4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”
Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”
Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

7 And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one.
8 Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

--- (When Saul saw the light from heaven he fell to the ground, v4, the attendants first, no doubt, stood speechless, then when they heard the voice but saw no man, they were no doubt prostrate on the ground beside their leader.)

The fact that the Testimony of Paul was recorded 3 times and is one of the great examples of conversion, --- assures that it happened. --- It cannot be denied.
And God can speak to people today through His Holy Spirit, just as Jesus spoke to Saul, who became Paul the Apostle, who did witness before the Gentiles, kings, and the Children of Israel, the Jews, who caused him much suffering, as predicted, v 15.

--- (Saul’s plan was to get the Christians off the street and out of society, so he had letters of authority. --- He had no authority to kill anyone, but would ‘bring them bound to Jerusalem.’ --- He was public enemy no. 1 to the Christians.)

--- If you went on to read the following verses you would find this:
10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.”
And he said, “Here I am, Lord.”
11 So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying.
12 And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.”
13 Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem.
14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.”
15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.
16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”
17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
18 Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.
19 So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus.

(Enough for now, more later)

Hi,

Since Jesus and all of His disciples were Jews they did not eat pork and Jesus gave no teaching on it.

The rule on animals for Jews to eat in the commandments was 'those with a cloven hoof that chewed, or masicated their cud.
Pigs have a cloven hoof but don't chew their cud, --- camels do not have a cloven hoof but do chew their cud, Lev 11:4

However, for Gentiles there was never any commandment or restiction for them not to eat pork.

They raised pigs for food and no doubt used the fat, and hide for leather.

In Acts 15, some Jewish believers went to the new Gentile Christian center in Antioch Syria, and said this to the Gentiles:
1 And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”
2 Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question.

--- (You can read the whole discussion from 1-31, but I will give you the important response.)

23 They wrote this letter by them:

The apostles, the elders, and the brethren,
To the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia:
Greetings.

24 Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law” —to whom we gave no such commandment—
25 it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27 We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth.
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality.
--- If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.

Farewell.

30 So when they were sent off, they came to Antioch; and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.
31 When they had read it, they rejoiced over its encouragement.
32 Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words.

--- (We are all Gentiles so we are not resticted, however we could examine Surah 5:3, which mentiones some of the same restictions as Acts 15:29, --- but does exclude swineflesh for Muslims. --- So in obedience to the Quran, muslims wouldn't eat pork.

Why would christians accept the Old Testament and the New Testament and not the Quran ?

Why would christians accept Jesus - 'Issa (as) as their guide, but not Muhammad (saws) ?

So, what you mean is that God would have sent different religions ?

Knowing that He is All Wise, He would certainly not have forbidden pork for the Jews if it was not because it was bad for them.

Then, how would a Wise God allow it for the Gentiles ? Would He care less for them ?

No, obiously, it is just because Paul didn't have the power to convince them, so he had no choice but to let them do what they like, although it is against the Divine Order.

In Islam, Paul will be in the lowest degree of Hell because he introduced so many distorsions in the Religion of God.

And as you've been mentioning Barnabas, why don't you accept his Gospel :

http://www.sacred-te.../gbar/index.htm

Certainly, the Pope and the Church did a good job to hide and reject all the other gospels that are going against there interests.

Just like the Sunni did with all the ahadith that where talking about Ahl ul Bayt (as) who are the real transmitter of the Divine Message of God - Allah in the Holy Quran explained by the Last Prophet (saws) sent to the whole humanity until the Day of Judgment.

That's why Sunni only refer to Bukhari, who was very careful not to mention them... And that's why they started interpreting the Quran in their own opinions, which is absolutely forbidden.

From Post 8:
Why would christians accept the Old Testament and the New Testament and not the Quran ?

Those of us who have read the Quran see that half of it contains the history of the OT, and is a 'confirmation' of the former Scriptures, the Torah and the Gospel, as well as the 'Criteria of right and wrong' which was given to Moses, Surah 3:

2. God! There is no god but He, - the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.
3. It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus)
4. Before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong). Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of God will suffer the severest penalty, and God is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution.

The 'Book' refers to the former Scriptures, as stated, because Surah 3 was revealed in the 3rd or 4th year of the Hijrah, so there were yet many revelations to come. --- Also the Quran, though it was being written, after each revelation, --- didn't become a Book for some 25 years after this Surah, when it was compiled by the Caliph, Uthman, was it?

The Quran confirms the message of the NT. --- Consider these verses also in Surah 3:

47. She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: God createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, 'Be,' and it is!
48. "And God will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,
49. "And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by God's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;
50. "'(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear God, and obey me.
51. "'It is God Who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a Way that is straight.'"

--- Can there be a Way that is straighter?

Why don't you read and bring all the verses of this Surah (Chapter) :

Surah 3. The Family Of 'Imran, The House Of 'Imran

1. A. L. M.

2. Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.

3. It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong) the Quran.

4. Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution.

5. From Allah, verily nothing is hidden on earth or in the heavens.

6. He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases. There is no god but He, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

7. He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book (the Quran):

19. The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account.
20. So if they dispute with thee, say: "I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me. (I became Muslim)" And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned: "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah.s sight are (all) His servants.
21. As to those who deny the Signs of Allah and in defiance of right, slay the prophets, and slay those who teach just dealing with mankind, announce to them a grievous penalty.

78. There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues: (As they read) you would think it is a part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say, "That is from Allah," but it is not from Allah. It is they who tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it!
79. It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah.s": on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly."
80. Nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for Lords and patrons. What! would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (To Allah in Islam)?
81. Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you an apostle, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."
82. If any turn back after this, they are perverted transgressors.
83. Do they seek for other than the Religion of Allah.-while all creatures in the heavens and on earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back.
84. Say: "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)."
85. If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah., never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).
86. How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust.
87. Of such the reward is that on them (rests) the curse of Allah, of His angels, and of all mankind;-

88. In that will they dwell; nor will their penalty be lightened, nor respite be (their lot);-
89. Except for those that repent (Even) after that, and make amends; for verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
90. But those who reject Faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of Faith,- never will their repentance be accepted; for they are those who have (of set purpose) gone astray.
91. As to those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- never would be accepted from any such as much gold as the earth contains, though they should offer it for ransom. For such is (in store) a penalty grievous, and they will find no helpers.
92. By no means shall ye attain righteousness unless ye give (freely) of that which ye love; and whatever ye give, of a truth Allah knoweth it well.

And in the Surah 5 :

3. Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah. that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

124. When there comes to them a sign (from Allah., They say: "We shall not believe until we receive one (exactly) like those received by Allah.s apostles." Allah knoweth best where (and how) to carry out His mission. Soon will the wicked be overtaken by humiliation before Allah, and a severe punishment, for all their plots.
125. Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.
126. This is the way of thy Lord, leading straight: We have detailed the signs for those who receive admonition.

33. Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, "I am of those who bow in Islam"?

34. Nor can goodness and Evil be equal. Repel (Evil) with what is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate!

35. And no one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint,- none but persons of the greatest good fortune.

Surah 61. The Ranks, Battle Array

5. And remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the apostle of Allah (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts go wrong. For Allah guides not those who are rebellious transgressors.
6. And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of an Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"
7. Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against Allah, even as he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not those who do wrong.
8. Their intention is to extinguish Allah.s Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).
9. It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).
10. O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty?-
11. That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye but knew!
12. He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement.
13. And another (favour will He bestow,) which ye do love,- help from Allah and a speedy victory. So give the Glad Tidings to the Believers.
14. O ye who believe! Be ye helpers of Allah. As said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples, "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah." Said the disciples, "We are Allah.s helpers!" then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved: But We gave power to those who believed, against their enemies, and they became the ones that prevailed.

Finally, the Gospel sent to Jesus ('Issa (as) is not addressed to the whole humanity, but only to the Children of Israïl. Even if in one gospel you find that people should go to other nations, it could be an addition, because it is not confirmed in the other gospels.

A trustworthy tradition from Imam al-Ridha and an authentic report from Ja‘far as-Sadiq mentions that Ulu’l-‘Azm Prophets are named thus because they possessed greatness (‘Azm) and brought a new shari‘ah (Divine Law).

For instance, Nuh was sent with a book and a shari‘ah different from that of Adam; and the succeeding Prophets followed his book and shari‘ah.

This continued until the advent of Ibrahim who came with a book different from that of Nuh and a new shari‘ah. He did not deny the book and shari‘ah of Nuh but they were abrogated and it was no more valid to act upon them. Prophets contemporary to and succeeding Ibrahim followed his shari‘ah and book until the time of Musa.

Musa came with Torah. Torah abrogated the shari‘ah of Ibrahim.

All the contemporary Prophets of Musa and succeeding ones followed the shari‘ah of Musa until the arrival of ‘Isa with Injeel. The shari‘ah of Musa and Torah were abrogated.

All the Prophets during the time of ‘Isa and the successors after him followed the shari‘ah of Injeel. This continued until the advent of our Prophet, Muhammad al-Mustafa.

Thus, these are the five great Ulu’l-‘Azm Prophets. They are the best of Prophets and messengers and the shari‘ah of Prophet Muhammad shall remain in force until the Resurrection Day.

There is to be no Prophet after him. Things permitted by him will remain permissible until Resurrection Day and things prohibited by him shall remain prohibited until Judgment Day. Any person who claims Prophethood after Prophet Muhammad or brings a book after Qur’an, claiming it to be of divine origin, is a liar.

Anyway, the Real Injeel sent by God - Allah (SWT) to Jesus ('Issa (as) ) is lost and will be brought back when he (as) will come on earth the second time, so that everyone one can testify of the distorsions that human beings introduced into the Divine Messages sent to Moussa (as) and 'Issa (as), and other prophets (as).

(I will continue with these responses to the first Post a few at a time.)

Q4. ---  Was she dead or just dying? (Matthew 9:18)
I am not going to speculate on whether the father accepted that his daughter was dead, or not, but the discrepancy has pointed out that Jesus was given power to raise the dead Read Matthew 9:18-26, and  Luke 8:41-56 --- for the whole story, which includes the healing of a woman who had faith enough to say, “If only I may touch His garment I shall be made well.” ---But only Matthew records that statement in v 21.

Q5. ---  Just what did Jesus instruct them to take? (Matthew 10:10)
This was the first great test for the disciples on their own, Matthew 10:

5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
9 Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts,
10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.
11 “Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out.

--- (I am surprised that anyone would ignore this great Message, --- that God gave the twelve disciples the power of the Holy Spirit to ‘heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons,’ [which are the same miracles as mentioned in Surah 5:110.] --- in order to point out one missing word.)

Mark 6:8.  He commanded them to take nothing for the journey except a staff --- no bag, no bread, no copper in their money belts—
9. but to wear sandals, and not to put on two tunics.

Matthew said, --- 9. No money, 10, no bag lunch [bread], nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs.
--- Notice that Mark said one staff, sandals and one tunic, [singular].
Notice, Matthew said it in the plural, --- so it would have been more exacting  had he said, ”nor two tunics, nor [extra] sandals, not 2 staffs.

--- (As god had given them the power to heal the sick, he could provide for them through believers. --- This was the first time the Jewish public witnessed the miracles of God through the disciples themselves. --- They were to go to the Jew first, then the Gentiles and then to the world.)

Q6. ---  When did the fig tree hear of its doom? (Matthew 21:17-19)
After studying these verses, it would seem that Jesus went to the temple on the evening of the great event of the “Triumphal Entry,” Matthew 21:1-11, where they honored Him with shouts of, “Hosanna, to the Son of David.” --- He went into the Temple and looked, but because it was late in the day, Mark 11:11, --- they went to Bethany. --- It would seem that Jesus spoke to the fig tree before they went to Bethany. --- So when they came the next morning they saw that the fig tree had already withered, Mark 11:20-21.

---Whereas, Matthew says that He spoke to the tree on their way into Jerusalem in the morning, and it withered immediately.
--- There is a discrepancy here, but they both acknowledge that it happened.

All four Gospel writers record the “Triumphal Entry” which is when Jesus entered Jerusalem as the Son of David and the Savior/ Messiah, --- and the cleansing of the Temple with authority, which followed the Triumphal Entry,  was necessary for the declaration to the world that Jesus was the Messiah, the Son (descendant) of David.
This action was comparable to when Muhammad came into Mecca with authority and had all the idols removed from the Kabah.
Three of the Gospel writers record the cleansing of the Temple, which put the Sanhedrin on notice, that their days were numbered.

--- However, the cursing of the fig tree is significant because the fig tree is symbolic of the Nation of Israel, and this is what Luke wrote in place of mentioning the fig tree, 19:
41. Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it,
42 saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side,
44 and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

This predicts the destruction of Israel and the eventual end of Temple worship.
The Temple was destroyed in 70 AD with all the wealth, and all the genealogies and family records.

I must add an interesting part of the prophecy:
Jesus said in Luke 19:44, “And they will not leave in you one stone upon another.”
--- Tradition says that when the Romans destroyed the Temple and burned it with fire, the gold ornaments melted, as well as the thin layer of gold that overlaid the decorative walls, and it ran down between the stones of the Temple. It is said that the soldiers used their horses to pull the stones apart to retrieve the gold.

--- (Sorry, but these events are so important in the Scriptures that they can’t be expressed in a few words.)

As per the Holy Quran, no, it was not compiled by Uthman. This is another lie of the sunni. It was compiled by the Messenger of Allah (saws) Muhammad, on the order of God - Allah (SWT) who sent His Spirit Jibraïl, as for all the Divine Messengers :

God says in the Holy Quran : {It is our duty to compile it and recite it.} The Qur’an: The Resurrection (75): 17.

Allah also says: {We have sent down the Reminder and We shall be its protectors.} The Qur’an: The Rocky Tract (15): 9.

the exegesis of ‘Ali Ibn Ibrahim (Tafsir al-Qumi: vol.2, p.451, The People (114)) from Imam al-Saadiq (a) that the Messenger of Allah (S) ordered ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (a) to collect the Qur’an saying:

‘Oh ‘Ali. The Qur’an is behind my bed, in scrolls, silk and papers. Take it and collate it and do not lose it as the Jews have lost the Torah.’ Thereupon Imam ‘Ali (a) took it and gathered it in a yellow garment and sealed it up. (Bihar Al-Anwar: vol.89, p.48, Beirut edition.)

This report indicates that the Prophet (S) ordered that the Qur’an be collected and that Imam ‘Ali (a) was the one who collected it on the direct orders of the Prophet (S) during his lifetime.

Similarly, all Shi’a jurists agree on this point. In the Qur’anic exegesis Majma’ al-Bayan, al-Sayyid al-Murtada is quoted as saying that the Qur’an was compiled during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (S) in the form that we are in possession of today.

The evidence for this is that the Qur’an was studied and learnt by heart at that time as a whole so that a group of companions were chosen to memorise it. It was also shown to the Prophet (S) and recited in front of him. A group of the companions like ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’oud and Ubayy ibn Ka’b and others recited the Qur’an from beginning to end in front of the Prophet (S) a number of times all of which indicates that it was in a gathered and structured form and not disparate and scattered. The same was said by Sheikh al-Mufid, Sheikh al-Sadouq and other Shi’a scholars before the time of al-Murtada, and others after him like al- Tusi and the great Qur’anic exegete al-Tabari who died in 548 A.H. as well as all of our other great scholars up to the present day.

Zaid ibn Thabit is reported as having said: 'We used to collect the fragments of the verses of the Qur’an and put them in their appropriate places at the instruction of the Messenger of Allah (S). Despite this, the verses were still fragmented so the Prophet (S) ordered ‘Ali (a) to gather them in one place and warned us against losing them.’

It is reported that al-Sha’bi said: 'The Qur’an was collected during the time of the Prophet of Allah (S) by six men of the Ansar.’

In al-Sirat al-Mustaqim, Anas says: 'Four men collected the Qur’an during the life of the Prophet (S) those being my father, Mu’adh, Zaid (Ibn Thabit), and Abu Zaid.’ (Al-Sirat al-Mustaqim: vol.3, p.38.)

Qatada is reported as having said: 'I asked Anas about who compiled the Qur’an during the lifetime of the prophet (S). He said Four men of the Ansar, then mentioned their names.’

Also related from Anas: ‘The Prophet (S) died, four men having collected the Qur’an: Abu Darda’, Mu’adh ibn Jabal, Zaid ibn Thabit, and Abu Zaid.’ (Bihar Al-Anwar: vol.92, p.77.)

Finally from ‘Ali ibn Ribah: ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (a) collected the Qur’an along with Ubayy ibn Ka’b during the lifetime of the Prophet (S).’

Quote from Post 10:

So, what you mean is that God would have sent different religions ?

Response: --- God Chose the Hebrew nation to be holy unto Him. They were to be the model or, example to nations around them, --- with the purpose of bringing them to an understanding of God and then putting their faith in Him.
They were given the Books of Moses to guide them and they were to ‘surrender unto God” and follow His will.
They were given specific rules about food and meat that they could eat. --- You will have to do some reading in Leviticus and Deuteronomy to know some of these rules. It was not a new religion but a continuation of God’s relationship with Abraham.

Quote: Knowing that He is All Wise, He would certainly not have forbidden pork for the Jews if it was not because it was bad for them.

Response: --- As I said before, the swine has a cloven hoof but does not chew its cud, therefore, it was considered unclean for the Jews,---  however, it was always allowed for Gentiles because the Jewish laws didn’t apply to them, unless they became a Jew and followed all of their rules.

--- But here is a verse that shows the difference between the laws for Jews and Gentiles (foreigners), --- Deuteronomy 14:
21.   “You shall not eat anything that dies of itself; you may give it to the alien who is within your gates, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to the Lord your God.

--- How do you like that?

(We have always felt that anything that dies of itself is not good for food for anyone, --- nevertheless, there may have been circumstances where an animal was badly injured and died, and could be bled immediately after death, even as all  animals for food are killed and bled.)
--- But the Jews were not allowed to touch a dead body, or they were unclean, so the restriction was that they could not do anything with a dead animal but give it away, or sell it, for others to eat.

Numbers 19 is a chapter on Laws of Purification, where they burned an unblemished heifer and saved the ashes to mix with hyssop and water, and sprinkle on a person or thing that was unclean. This was to be a continual practice among the Jews, when the ashes of one heifer were used up, they would find another one. (This compares to Surah 2:63-73, the sacrifice of the unblemished heifer for Israel’s sin.
Surah 2 is called ”The Cow,” --- ‘Which is so named from the story of the yellow heifer.’ --- Pickthall intro to Surah 2.

Num 19:17. ‘And for an unclean person they shall take some of the ashes of the heifer burnt for purification from sin, and running water shall be put on them in a vessel.
18 A clean person shall take hyssop and dip it in the water, sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, or on the one who touched a bone, the slain, the dead, or a grave.
19 The clean person shall sprinkle the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, wash his clothes, and bathe in water; and at evening he shall be clean.

--- This mentions the dead body of a person, but those who touched the dead body or bones of an animal were all unclean.

Quote: Then, how would a Wise God allow it for the Gentiles ? Would He care less for them ?

Response: --- In Genesis, after the flood God made a covenant with Noah and spoke to him and his three sons, Gen 9:
1. So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth
3. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.
4. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.

---(The Scripture says in a few places that ‘the life is in the blood,’ so meat shall not be eaten with the blood in it.)

--- And all of the descendants of Noah through his sons, Japheth, Ham, and Shem, were called Gentiles in Gen 10:
1. Now this is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: --- Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And sons were born to them after the flood.
5. From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations.

--- So the descendants of Noah were called Gentiles and spread out to fill the earth, and Genesis tells where a lot of them settled in the next chapters.
Therefore, Gentiles were told that they could eat, “Every moving thing that lives,” v 3--- but not the blood.

--- Notice how this restriction on blood is included in the instructions for Gentile Christians in Acts 15:
19.  Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God,
20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood.

--- Also in the Quran in the instructions for Muslims, Surah 5:
3. Forbidden unto you (for food) are carrion and blood and swineflesh, and that which hath been dedicated unto any other than Allah,

(bismillah)

Blessings all , let me tell you a story and you may think twice they way you will approach assessing which book is the truth who will go to hell and heaven .

This is my experience as a Christian .

firstly i love all mankind as GOD created us from the one fruit his love , we are on earth to love each other to respect each other and not to judge one another.

My story started a few years ago , one night driving home from my mother’s night tired from work no care in the world my mind was only on money and getting rich getting wealthy being greedy , jealous and all sins which i understood as a Christian .

On this trip i was 5 minutes way from home when i fel a sleep behind the car , rolled my car 8 times which i woke up as soon as the car started rolling , at that point i was screaming and hoping i would not die .

once the car came to a halt  i quickly remembered my daughter that i took to with me to my parents house i looked and looked for her she was on 3 years old i screamed and no one answered  i tried to get out but my legs were not working and i had a lot of back pain where later i realised i had broken my back, then i saw her baby seat on the road , my heart dropped and i started crying , at that moment at the distance i saw my grandfather and uncle who had past and two other people behind them a few meters back , first i could not make it out who it was but i saw two men both of them draped in white i later realised who these were our prophets Jesus (pbuh) and Imam Hussein (pbuh) beloved of the oppressed .

i remember waving to them and both my uncle and grandpa waving back and saying it will be ok you are ok and your daughter is well and safe . at that moment i realised she was at my parents house where i left her that night.

after a few month in hospital where they screwed in my spine and made me slowly walk again i came home and that is when my heart was filled with joy seeing who i saw at that point i realised that there is a GOD and that i must follow and feel my heart with the teaching of both our beloved Jesus (pbuh) and Imam Hussein (pbuh) .

So you may ask why do you mean by telling this story and why we should believe you . To me it doesn’t matter if you do or not , what matters to me is GOD the only GOD that is the all powerful the creator and saviour the father of fathers he allowed me to fill my heart and allowed me follow these to messengers of love and compassion .

To me people are not here to judge and dictate who is right and who is wrong GOD will judge all equally we are mere men not Prophets . Fill your heart with knowledge from all religions as these are the words of GOD to not question them only fill your heart with the words they are written in .

As a Christian i truly fill blessed to have love for both religions.

Peace to you all do not argue this life is short , start again and this time ask to understand to love all mankind and our messengers of GOD .

Blessings

To conclude from Post 10:

Quote: No, obiously, it is just because Paul didn't have the power to convince them, so he had no choice but to let them do what they like, although it is against the Divine Order.

Response: --- You don’t quite understand how disputes were handled in the Church in Jerusalem. In Acts 15 some Jewish believers went to the Gentile Church in Antioch Syria and were saying that they had to become ‘like Jews’ before they could be saved, which is contrary to the preaching of the Gospel which says that we are saved by faith in God and obedience to Jesus.

--- A delegation was sent from the Gentile Church to the Christian Church in Jerusalem where the Apostles were assembled. And others were sent along with Barnabas and Paul.

The meeting in Jerusalem was presided over by the Pastor of the Church, who was James, the brother of Jesus, --- and the Apostles, Peter and John and perhaps others of the Apostles and elders who were there to hear the complaint and decide what God would have them do as a Church body.

The counsel listened to Barnabas and Paul as they declared, “How many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles.”
James, the president gave evidence that God had given the Gospel to the Gentiles first through Peter, Acts 10,  and said this:
15:18  “Known to God from eternity are all His works.
19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God,
20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality,[d] from things strangled, and from blood.

--- This is what they did, and they sent it back to the Gentile Church in Antioch with Barnabas and Paul, and men from the Jerusalem Church,Judas and Silas, who were teachers, so they sent them back with the delegation that came.

--- But notice that decisions were not made by the men , but by the Holy Spirit that indwelt them.

The Problem:
24.  Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law” —to whom we gave no such commandment—
25 it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

The solution:
28. For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.

--- This was the Jewish Christians sending this instruction to the Gentile Christians in Antioch, Syria, and Silicia v 23. --- This was important to Christianity as the Gospel was spread to the Gentile countries.

--- What I want you to understand is that the Jewish Christians instructed that the Gentile Christians were not required to keep the OT laws, but were to practice the New Law of Love, which fulfills the ‘letter of the law.’ Matthew 5:17.

They gave simple instructions of what was forbidden, --- so Christians today should follow the same teaching as was given in the Acts of the Apostles, where they first established Gentile Churches.
--- (I would assume that the Jewish Christians would still abstain from eating pork and other observe other Jewish practices as as a 'tradition,' but not as the keeping of the OT law.)

Quote: In Islam, Paul will be in the lowest degree of Hell because he introduced so many distortions in the Religion of God.

Response: --- Your criticism of Paul is totally unfounded. Jesus said, “He is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name among the Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel, Acts 9:15.

--- Can you give one 'distortion' that you believe that is not in harmony with the teaching of Jesus, James, Peter, and John?

Paul fulfilled his ministry and went to his reward, Surah 3:55.
In mouthing words of hatred you show something of yourself, and your sentiment towards Christians, and therefore, against Jesus Himself, is that not right?

Quote: And as you've been mentioning Barnabas, why don't you accept his Gospel?

Response: ---  The so-called Gospel of Barnabas was written by someone between 1200 and 1400, --- so it could hardly be included in the NT that was written in the first century. --- Besides, it is not accurate to Scripture.

We have a Book, the Bible, Old and New Testament, --- and we have the guidance of the Holy Spirit. --- James, the brother of Jesus wrote in James 1:
5. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
--- (Sometimes the answer doesn’t come immediately as though it is a ‘question and answer’ session, --- but you simply wait for God’s answer.
“If you ask in faith, believing, you shall receive.”)

And you have a Book, --- Quran no 1
If your hadiths have led you to hatred of Paul and Christians it should say something to you, should it not?

Follow Jesus or Follow Paul?

The New Testament gives us a choice; either we follow Jesus Christ, or the anti-Christ Paul of Tarsus: Each one demands his followers to accept his teachings:

Be ye followers of me… that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered [them] to you. (1 Corinthians 11:1)

“If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed” (John 8:31)

Amazing, the former preached against the teachings of Jesus, and the latter, (Jesus) teaches that salvation is only attained by following him. According to Deuteronomy 24:16, Ezekiel 18:20-21, and Micah 6:7-8, a man is responsible for his own sin. Jesus rejected the Pauline doctrine of “vicarious atonement”. Compare the two passages below:

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (Hebrews 9:22)

Jesus was teaching his disciples in the outer court of the Temple and one of them said unto him: Master, it is said by the priests that without shedding of blood there is no remission. Can then the blood offering of the law take away sin? And Jesus answered: No blood offering, of beast or bird, or man, can take away sin, for how can the conscience be purged from sin by the shedding of innocent blood? Nay, it will increase the condemnation. (Gospel of theNazorenes, Lection 33, verses 1-2)
Jesus was circumcised, Paul rejected circumcision:

This [is] my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant. (Genesis 17:14)

When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God commanded him. (Genesis 21:4)

And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. (Exodus 12:48)

On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived. (Luke 2:21)

And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, [and said], Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.(Acts 15:1)

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:19)

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier [matters] of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. (Matthew 23:23)

The Jewish Law commands the circumcision on the eighth day. The reason why Christians are not circumcised is because they follow Paul. They have broken the covenant of Circumcision according to Jesus himself (5:19)

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. (Galatians 5:6, KJV)

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. (NIV)

The Talmud states the following to those who break the Covenant:

"The one who voids the covenant of Abraham has no portion in the world to come (Avot 3:16).

Christians may not have any “portion in the world to come” because they have totally rejected the Message of Jesus, replacing the Gospel with the Gospel of Paul.

"The Christianity which the nations claim to follow is the religion of Paul, who is admittedly the chief and almost the only theologian that the Church recognizes. Because of his betrayal of the Master's teachings, the vision of true Christianity has been so dimmed that men have been able to defend war and a host of other evils, such as flesh eating and slavery, on the authority of the Bible." (Christ or Paul? Rev. V.A. Holmes-Gore)

"Let the reader contrast the true Christian standard with that of Paul and he will see the terrible betrayal of all that the Master taught.... For the surest way to betray a great Teacher is to misrepresent his message.... That is what Paul and his followers did, and because the Church has followed Paul in his error it has failed lamentably to redeem the world.... The teachings given by the blessed Master Christ, which the disciples John and Peter and James, the brother of the Master, tried in vain to defend and preserve intact were as utterly opposed to the Pauline Gospel as the light is opposed to the darkness." (ibid, Rev. V.A. Holmes Gore)

"True Christianity, which will last forever, comes from the gospel words of Christ not from the epistles of Paul. The writings of Paul have been a danger and a hidden rock, the causes of the principal defects of Christian theology." (Ernest Renan, Saint Paul)

"There is not one word of Pauline Christianity in the characteristic utterances of Jesus.... There has really never been a more monstrous imposition perpetrated than the imposition of Paul's soul upon the soul of Jesus.... It is now easy to understand how the Christianity of Jesus... was suppressed by the police and the Church, while Paulinism overran the whole western civilized world, which was at that time the Roman Empire, and was adopted by it as its official faith. (Androcles and the Lion, George Bernard Shaw)

The Christian missionaries today are preaching the Gospel of Paul, and rejecting the Gospel of Jesus. Paul emphasized that salvation is attained through “faith and grace” which is blatantly opposite of what Jesus taught.

"Paul... did not desire to know Christ.... Paul shows us with what complete indifference the earthly life of Jesus was regarded.... What is the significance for our faith and for our religious life, the fact that the Gospel of Paul is different from the Gospel of Jesus?.... The attitude which Paul himself takes up towards the Gospel of Jesus is that he does not repeat it in the words of Jesus, and does not appeal to its authority.... The fateful thing is that the Greek, the Catholic, and the Protestant theologies all contain the Gospel of Paul in a form which does not continue the Gospel of Jesus, but displaces it." (The Quest for the Historical Jesus, Albert Schweitzer)

“We have already noted that every teaching of Jesus was already in the literature of the day….. Paul, the founder of Christianity, the writer of half the NT, almost never quotes Jesus in his letters and writings." (Professor Smith in his “The World Religions”, p 330)
Saul/Paul had set out initially to subvert Jesus’ teachings. Later he used his new doctrines to undermine the power of the Jewish church as well as the defied Roman Emperor. Paul sought to torpedo Judaism in its calcified form, its narrow interpretation of the Judaic law. Jesus had initiated this process but did not subvert the law. Paul had no such inhibitions; he rejected wholesale many fundamental laws of God. In the attempt Paul succeeded in undermining both the Jewish and Nazarene teachings. He steered Christ’s teachings away from monotheism and from the Jews, (the lost sheep of Israel) and directed these teachings in a corrupted form to Non-Jews…As Jesus had not succeeded during his mission in converting the majority of his Jewish brothers and sister to his divinely inspired interpretations of Judaism, Paul ensured that after Jesus had departed, that Jews would not be temped to follow Jesus’ Teachings. To this end, Paul so adulterated Jesus’ life, purpose, mission and claims to make the new dogma (Paul’s version of Jesus’ teachings) repugnant to the Jews. (FaroukHosein, Fundamentalism Revisited, Eniath’s Printing Company Trinidad, p. 49)

The Jewish Christians reacted strongly to Paul, they rejected his pagan ideas of the “divinity of Christ”, and they rejected the concept of the “divine sonship” of Jesus, whom they regarded as a Prophet and Messenger.

The Jewish Christians rejected Paul’s version of ‘Christ’, to them the ‘Christ’ was anointed and fully human. Many characters in the Bible were called ‘Christ’ (anointed) but they were never divine ‘god-men’. Paul changed the original meaning of this title to make it conform to the Gentile thinking. The Romans considered their Emperors to be the ‘sons of God’, or personages of the sun. Similarly, the Hindus consider their heroes to be the ‘incarnations’ of God.

“A true Jew would have immediately recognized the teaching of Jesus as a reaffirmation of what Moses had taught. But to many a pagan, it must have seemed new and strange and perhaps a little complicated. Most of the pagans still believed in a multitude of gods who, it was thought, mixed freely with human beings, mated with them, and took part in every sphere of human life. To the common people of Greece, any description of Jesus must have seemed like a description of one of their gods, and they were probably quite ready to accept Jesus in this capacity. There was always room for one more god. However, the actual teaching of Jesus negated all their gods, since it affirmed the Divine Unity”. (Muhammad Ataur-Raheem, Jesus: Prophet of Islam 1992 edition, p. 62)

Paul’s reasoning had two major consequences. It not only resulted in further changes being made to what Jesus had taught, but also prepared the way for completely changing people’s ideas of who Jesus was. He was being transformed from a man to a conception in people’s minds. Divinity had been attributed to Jesus even when he was on earth by some of those who marveled at his words and miracles, and who, mistakenly, considered him to be more than a prophet. Some of his enemies had also spread the rumor that he was the “son of God”, hoping to rouse the orthodox Jew’s anger against him for associating himself with God. Thus, even before he disappeared, there had been a tendency to obscure his true nature and ascribe godhood to Jesus. This imaginary figure of Christ, who apparently had the power to annul what Jesus had previously taught, was clearly no ordinary mortal, and, inevitably, became confused by many with God. Thus, this imaginary figure became an object of worship, and was associated with God.  (Muhammad Ataur-Raheem, p. 70)

The great scholar Mawdudi alludes to the deification of Jesus by the “Christians”.

The false tendencies, born of centuries of deviations, ignorance and malpractice, now took another form. Though they accepted their Prophets during their lives and practiced their teachings, after their deaths they introduced their own distorted ideas into their religions. They adopted novel methods of worshipping God; some even took to the worship of their Prophets. They made the Prophets the incarnations of God or the sons of God; some associated their Prophets with God in His Divinity. (Towards Understanding Islam, p. 39)
Jesus taught Salvation comes through Faith and Works, Paul distorted it:

Jesus taught salvation is attained by keeping the commandments, physical prayer, fasting, and observing the Law of Moses. Paul neglected these commands and distorted the Path to Salvation preached by Jesus.

Paul said that “salvation comes through faith and grace” which is exactly what the missionaries are saying today. Let us read the words of Jesus.

Fasting is commanded:

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (Matthew 17:21)

And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. (Mark 9:29)

Now in the twenty and fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with sackclothes, and earth upon them. (Nehemiah 9:1)

And in every province, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, [there was] great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes. (Esther 4:3)

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing [was] sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom. (Psalms 35:13)

When I wept, [and chastened] my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. (Psalms 69:10)

My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness. (Psalms 109:24)

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye [even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: (Joel 2:12)

Christians do not fast, Muslims fast during the holy month of Ramadan, so they must be considered the true followers of Jesus. The (only) excuse Christians have for not fasting is echoing the teachings of Paul, who discarded these laws altogether!

Physical Prayer is commanded:

The Prophets of God prayed with their forehead touching the ground. Likewise, the Muslims also pray in this manner:

And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, (Genesis 17:3)

And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master's brother's daughter unto his son. (Genesis 24:48)

And he said, Nay; but [as] captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him,What saith my lord unto his servant? (Joshua 5:14)

And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: (Daniel 9:3)
And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt]. (Matthew 26:39)

Paul rejected these laws; he disobeyed the physical prayer to Yahweh. He distorted the prayer and directed it towards His Prophet, Jesus!

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; (Philemon 2:10)

This verse is absolutely outrageous and repulsive, totally disgusting! The Old Testament teaches that Prayer is due to God alone:

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. (Isaiah 45:23)

It seems that Christians have abandoned this verse, following the teaching of Paul by worshipping Jesus! According to the Holy Quran, associating partners (in worship) with God is unforgivable:

Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sinMost heinous indeed. (4:48)

In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ the son of Mary. Say: "Who then hath the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all every - one that is on the earth? For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth what He pleaseth. For Allah hath power over all things." (5:17)

They do blaspheme who say: "Allah is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help. (5:72)

Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth! (5:75)

They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah: there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him). (9:31)

Jesus Forbade the Gentiles:

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any] city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (Matthew 10:5-6)

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (Matthew 15:24)

Paul rejected this command of NOT preaching to the Gentiles, they were restricted. Paul openly preached among the Gentiles, a totally different religion:

For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: (Romans 11:13)

Don’t be like the pagans!

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. (Matthew 6:7-8)

And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.(Leviticus 20:23)

The Church Father Iranaeus condemned Paul for inventing ‘Christianity’ from pagan beliefs:

Iranaeus believed in One God and supported the doctrine of the manhood of Jesus. He bitterly criticized Paul for being responsible for injecting doctrines of the pagan religions and Platonic philosophy into Christianity. (Muhammad Ataur-Raheem, Jesus Prophet of Islam, 1992 edition, p. 77)

The pagans used to wear tattoos and eat swine, the unclean pig. The “Christians” are imitating them today:

'Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD. (Leviticus 19:28)

And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he [is] unclean to you.

Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they [are] unclean to you. (Leviticus 11:7-8)

The Bible says that decorating trees is PAGAN; this refers to the “Christmas tree”.

For the customs of the people [are] vain: for [one] cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. (Jeremiah 10:3-4)

Paul corrupted the teachings of Jesus claiming that his supposed “sacrifice on the cross” is the only way to salvation. We have already seen how this concept is false, according to the Bible itself, and the Gospel of the Nazorenes.

After Jesus’s time, there came to be two sects of Christians: those who followed St. Paul (who is the real founder of modern Christianity) and those who followed the Apostles of Jesus. In course of time, the Pauline sect overshadowed the Apostles’ sect. So Paul’s own writings, as well as the Gospels written under his influence, came to be accepted by the later Christian Church as Scripture.

The Gospels are Hellenistic religious narratives in the tradition of the Greek Septuagint version of the Old Testament, which constituted the “Scriptures” to those Greek-speaking Christians who wrote the four canonical Gospels and who appealed to it, explicitly or implicitly, in nearly every paragraph they wrote. (Randal Helms, Gospel Fictions, p. 16)

The New Testament was written under the influence of Paul, the four Gospel writers were Gentile converts to Pauline Christianity. Hence, there is nothing Jewish about the New Testament, it was solely written for Pauline Christians whose background was pagan.

The Hebrew Scriptures of the Nazarenes and Ebionites were destroyed by the Pauline Church. The original sayings of Jesus were lost forever. The New Testament today exists in Greek, and not Hebrew or Aramaic, the spoken tongues of Jesus.

The Gospel of Matthew seems to be the “most Jewish” book in the New Testament,

Luke was a Gentile and not eye-witness

Mark was Barnabas’s nephew and not eye-witness

John was martyred decades before the Gospel (bearing his name) was even written.

Nevertheless, the four Gospels are NOT mentioned by name before the year 190 CE. We have scholarly quotations to back this claim.

Unfortunately, the sources we have on Jesus are very scarce and scanty, Ignatius (died 110 CE) records the baptism of Jesus but he fails to record any thing else.

The Apostolic Church Fathers never mention the miracles in the Gospels; they fail to mention the four Gospels by name. The story of the “resurrection” (as told in the Gospels) was fabricated later because they fail to record it. The seven epistles of Ignatius fall into the category of silence, they speak nothing about Jesus.

Paul has written his own personal account of the “resurrection” which contradicts the Gospels. In conclusion, the Gospels are fabricated because Philo Judaeusand many other historians fail to mention their supernatural events.

The New Testament makes it clear that nobody witnessed the “resurrection”, the disciples never witnessed the “resurrection”, they all ‘forsook him and fled’ atGethsemane.

Paul says Jesus Christ is a mystery!

In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, (Ephesians 3:4)

Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: (Colossians 4:3)
According to Paul, Jesus was not a real person; he was a spiritual conception in people’s minds:

Paul’s reasoning had two major consequences. It not only resulted in further changes being made to what Jesus had taught, but also prepared the way for completely changing people’s ideas of who Jesus was. He was being transformed from a man to a conception in people’s minds. (Muhammad Ataur-Raheem, Jesus Prophet of Islam, p. 70)

Paul did not care about the historical Jesus, whom he never met. He transformed Jesus into a ‘god-man’.

His reluctance to say very much at all about Jesus the man, in his letters, he quoted hardly any of the sayings of Jesus, in his apostleship to the Gentiles. Jesus, according to the flesh that is historical Jesus, did not serve his purpose

Pauline Christology has only minimally to do with the actual historical Jesus. Hence, the faith in Christ as held by primitive preaching led by Paul was something new in comparison with the preaching of Jesus, it was a new type of religion based god-man of Pagan Religion.
(The Hijacking of Christianity, Al Haj A.D. Ajijola, p. 4)

PAUL EXPOSED

Paul, the founder of Christianity, rejected the message of Jesus (and everything he stood for) while replacing the Gospel with his own distorted version.
The message of Jesus was pure and simple, the complete submission and surrender to God alone. He preached the religion of Islam; he fasted and prayed in the manner taught by the Prophets before him. He abstained from eating pork and drinking wine.
Paul rejected these laws and concocted his own religion, claiming “salvation comes through faith only” (sound familiar?) and not physical action or bodily prayer.
The Bible teaches the exact opposite, the stories of the Prophets teach us that salvation is attained through fasting, physical prayer, and righteous deeds, not just having faith, which is merely an article required in any organized religion.

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. (James 2:17)
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? (James 2:21-22)
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only (2:24)
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (2:26)

The Holy Quran harmonizes these verses by teaching that salvation is attained through faith and works:

Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. (2:227)
It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing. (2:177)

Allah did aforetime take a covenant from the Children of Israel, and we appointed twelve captains among them. And Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but)establish regular prayers, practice regular charity, believe in my messengers, honor and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path or rectitude." (5:12)

And convey good news to those who believe and do good deeds, that they shall have gardens in which rivers flow; whenever they shall be given a portion of the fruit thereof, they shall say: This is what was given to us before; and they shall be given the like of it, and they shall have pure mates in them, and in them, they shall abide. (2:25)
And when it is said to them: Believe as the people believe they say: Shall we believe as the fools believe? Now surely they themselves are the fools, but they do not know. (2:13)

FASTING:

O you who believe! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard (against evil). (2:83)

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. (Matthew 4:1-2)

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (Matthew 17:21)

PHYCSIAL PRAYER:

And when We made the House (at Makka) a resort for mankind and sanctuary, (saying): Take as your place of worship the place where Abraham stood (to pray). And We imposed a duty upon Abraham and Ishmael, (saying): Purify My house for those who go around and those who meditate therein and those who bow down and prostrate themselves (in worship). (2:125)

Those that turn (to Allah) in repentance; that serve Him, and praise Him; that wander in devotion to the cause of Allah,: that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer; that enjoin good and forbid evil; and observe the limit set by Allah;- (These do rejoice). So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers (9:112)
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; (Psalms 95:6)
And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master's brother's daughter unto his son. (Genesis 24:48)
And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowedtheir heads and worshipped. (Exodus 4:31)
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me and be thou perfect.  And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for Me, behold, My covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.  (Genesis 17:1-4)
And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,  Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. (Revelations 7:11-12)
And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the Lord until eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.  And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord God, wherefore hast Thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? Would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side of the Jordan!  (Joshua 7:6-7)
And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them. (Numbers 20:6)
Jesus rejected that salvation can be attained through blood sacrifice and ‘faith only-ism’

I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Matthew 9:13)

But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. (Matthew 12:7)

"The lawteachers and the Pharisees sit in Moses' chair. This means you're supposed to observe and follow everything they tell you. But don't do what they do;after all, they're all talk and no action.”
(Matthew 23:2)

Christianity is “all talk and no action” exactly what Christian missionaries are preaching today, the Pauline law of lawlessness! The following verse hammers the nail:

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9, NIV)

Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (The Amplified Bible)

Islam is a Religion of action; Christianity is a religion of fabulous words. It does not have the answers to the problems of mankind. Islam superiorly has the solutions to the problems of mankind, the social corruptions in the society.

Islam demands a very high standard of morality which fixes the problems of the world. It’s is a Challenge to religion; a complete system of Life. The lawlessness of Christianity cannot be denied, since Christianity is based on emotions and not history.
Jesus taught the very opposite of what Christianity teaches today. The purpose of Jesus’ mission was to preach the Torah, not to be crucified. He taught salvation came through observing the Law, and not by the ‘eloquent words’ of the later Church. Jesus declared in Matthew 17:21 that salvation is attained through “fasting and prayer”.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-20)

Jesus replied, "Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come." (Mark 1:38)

The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple. (Psalms 19:7)
Blessed [are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. (Psalms 119:1)

Jesus came to uphold the Mosaic Law and restore its teachings which had been discarded; he never founded a new religion. The followers of Jesus regarded him as the ‘new Moses’ sent to the Children of Israel. Jesus declared he was only sent to the Jews.

Paul is the founder of Christianity who established lawlessness; the doctrine of “salvation through faith only” is simply an echoing of Paul’s words and distorted teachings.
Christians are following the anti-Christ without knowing it.

“If Christianity needed an Anti-Christ, they need look no further than Paul”
-- The English philosopher Jeremy Bentham (1748-1832)

“We have already noted that every teaching of Jesus was already in the literature of the day….. Paul, the founder of Christianity, the writer of half the NT, almost never quotes Jesus in his letters and writings." (Professor Smith in his “The World Religions”, p 330)

Paul rejected the Jewish Law (Torah) and fabricated a religion called “Christianity” which deviated from the teachings of Jesus, transforming him into a god.

“Although I am free from everyone, I have enslaved myself to all of them in order to win a larger number. To the Jews I behave as a Jew; to those under the Law as one who is under the Law, although I am not under the Law, to gain those who are under the Law. To those who are without law I am without law, although not lawless toward God but committed to Christ’s Law, in order to win those who are without law” (1 Corinthians 9:19)

Paul is a liar, he claims to follow the Law of Christ when the Law of Christ was the observance of the Torah (Matthew 5:17-20) the very Law that he strongly rejected! The hypocrisy of Paul is further exposed in the following verse:

For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? (Romans 3:7, King James Version)

But if through my lie God's truth abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner? (English Standard Version)

But if the truth of God through my lie abounded unto his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? (American Standard Version)

Muhammad Ataur-Raheem comments on the verse above:

“It would seem from this statement that, although he knew he was lying, Paul felt that the means justified the ends, but it is not understood how truth would abound through a lie…
Paul produced a religion which encompassed different contradictory elements. He took the Unitarianism of the Jews and added to it the philosophy of the pagans”. (Jesus: Prophet of Islam, 1992 edition, p. 71)

Paul is the anti-Christ, the supreme liar, the pathological liar, and the corrupter of Jesus’ Gospel. The Jewish Christians (Nazarenes and Ebionites) considered him an ‘apostate’ from Judaism, yet historical accounts say that he was born Gentile.

The author Roshen Enam says:

“Paul abolished the Law, which was followed and preached by Jesus (pbuh), and corrupted the whole religion, giving it a new form. The main ambition behind all this was, in his own words, “to win a larger number” of followers; the followers of a new religion “the Pauline Christianity”. (Follow Jesus or Follow Paul p. 69)

“The message of Christianity is that the Law is a curse. If the Law is a curse, then all that it ordains or prohibits must also be a curse.” (A.D. Ajijola states in his book “The Myth of the Cross”)

Amazingly, Paul went to such extremes that he claimed Jesus destroyed the Jewish Law!

“He (Jesus) brought the hostility to an end, by abolishing the Law of commandments with its regulations”. (Ephesians 2:14)

Needless to say, the passage contradicts Matthew 5:17-20 where Jesus specifically states that he came to preach the Law, not to destroy it.

Paul gave evidence that he was building a new religion, a complete deviation from Jesus’ teachings:

Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation: (Romans 15:20)

What is Paul implying here? Muhammad Ataur-Raheem gives us the answer:

If Paul had been spreading the original teaching of Jesus, then “another man’s foundation” would have been the same as his. They would both have been involved in building the same structure. The people who were hearing about Jesus, or rather Christ, for the first time from Paul’s lips, had no means of comparing his account with that of the Apostles who still held to Jesus’ teaching. Paul’s version was the only one to which they had access. (ibid, Jesus Prophet of Islam, p.)

Paul was developing a new religion under the doctrines he was fabricating According to Acts, Paul traveled to Arabia for three years:

Paul then left Damascus and, instead of seeking out the company of the other followers of Jesus, went into the Arabian Desert where he remained hidden for three years. It may well have been here that he began to formulate his own version of what Jesus had taught. This involved a rejection of the Jewish Law, which in turn meant his turning away from the fact that throughout his life Jesus had remained a practicing Jew, and always sought to uphold the teachings which Moses had brought before him. (Jesus Prophet of Islam, 1992 edition)

“In the solitude of the Arabian desert, he had marked out a course of action for himself in which he would not accept any interference or advice. Had he discussed this matter with the apostles or taken any of them into his confidence, it would mean a definite setback to his scheme of preaching a modified religion to the Gentiles. The apostles would have very strongly opposed the whole idea, and would have denounced the whole idea as an abomination. There is ample proof provided by the New Testament that the Disciples and the earliest followers of Jesus abhorred the innovations of Paul.
(A.D. Ajijola states in his book “The Myth of the Cross”)

Paul corrupted the Gospel of Jesus and replaced it, as the scholar Albert Schweitzer points out:
What is the significance for our faith and for our religious life, the fact that the Gospel of Paul is different from the Gospel of Jesus?
The attitude which Paul himself takes up towards the Gospel of Jesus is that he does not repeat it in the words of Jesus, and does not appeal to its authority....The fateful thing is that the Greek, the Catholic, and the Protestant theologies all contain the Gospel of Paul in a form which does not continue the Gospel of Jesus, but displaces it."
(Albert Schweitzer, The Quest for the Historical Jesus)
“The Christian beliefs formulated by St. Paul are unreasonable and repugnant to the conscience of man; such beliefs cannot expect any reasonable allegiance from the advanced nations of the world as it is a religion of primitive people. The whole of modern Christian doctrines was not formulated by Jesus, but by St. Paul in his Epistle to the Romans where he laid the foundation of Modern Christian doctrines and based his exposition on the heathen practices of his day.”
(A.D. Ajijola states in his book “The Myth of the Cross”)

Paul was disguising the true face of Jesus with a hideous mask; this ‘mask’ later became known as “Christianity”. It is mysterious that Jesus was transformed into God ‘incarnate’ when Moses, his twin predecessor was not.

I have inquired into some of the fundamental doctrines of Christianity; the examination has led me to the conclusion that the dogmas of the Trinity, the Divinity of Jesus, the Divine-Sonship, the Original Sin and Atonement are neither rational nor in conformity with the teachings of Jesus. These dogmas came into being and were due to pagan influences. They show that Christianity has departed considerably from the religion of Jesus.  (A.D. Ajijola states in his book “The Myth of the Cross”)

In the preface to the book Jesus: Prophet of Islam, Muhammad Ataur-Raheem says:

An eminent scholar of Christian history admits that the present-day Christianity is a “mask” on the face of Jesus but goes on to say that a mask worn for a long time acquires a life of its own and it has to be accepted as such. The Muslim believes in the Jesus of history and refuses to accept the “mask”. This, in a nutshell, has been the point of difference between Islam and the Church for the last fourteen hundred years.

“I am convinced that Christianity has indeed misunderstood Jesus and that it needs to make a radical rediscovery of his person and message” (Tom Harper, by Akberally Meherally, Understanding the Bible through Koranic Messages)

A basic contrast between the Old Testament and the teachings of Paul reveal hundreds of contradictions. Paul established his own Church which later became the ‘Roman Catholic Church’ (sound familiar?).
James, the brother of Jesus, established the first ‘Church’ at Jerusalem (in 50 CE) before Pauline Christianity existed. It was sadly destroyed by the Pauline Church after the Jewish War (66-70 C.E.) and the Nazarenes were suppressed by the followers of Paul.

The Pauline “Christians” that exist today do not follow Christ, they should be called Paulians. The true Christians were the Nazarenes and Ebionites that no longer exist.

Paul degraded Jesus in the following verses:
Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, (Hebrews 6:1, English Standard Version)
Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, (Hebrews 6:1, 21st Century King James Version)

Paul emphasized that Christ was not perfect, hence his teachings should be discarded, because according to Paul, they are like ‘filthy and useless rags’ (Isaiah 64:6) and we must excel towards “perfection and maturity”. The deceptive editors changed the English translation of Paul’s damaging words. This outrageous statement has been softened in many other versions of the Bible:
So let us stop going over the basics of Christianity again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don't need to start all over again with the importance of turning away from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. (Hebrews 5:7. New Living Translation)
We must try to become mature and start thinking about more than just the basic things we were taught about Christ. We shouldn't need to keep talking about why we ought to turn from deeds that bring death and why we ought to have faith in God. (Hebrews 5:7, Contemporary English Version)

The convert to Islam, Dr. Roshan Enam, comments:

“Paul not only distorted the teachings of Jesus Christ (pbuh) he even dishonored them; arguing that Jesus gave immature and defective teachings to his followers, and that they were not worth following. Instead, the people should follow the teachings preached by Paul, which according to him, are mature and complete” (Follow Jesus or Follow Paul, p. 38)

As mentioned earlier, Paul established the doctrine of lawlessness, which is the great cause for our social corruptions. The Christian religion gave birth to diseases like fascism and communism:

Christianity has been most prolific of spawning isms. Atheism, Communism, Fascism, Totalitarianism, Nazism, Mormonism, Moonism, Christian Scientism and now Satanism. What else will Christianity give birth to? (Deedat, Is the Bible God’s Word?)

Jesus observed the laws of the Torah, but Paul changed the Gospel, corrupting it before it reached Europe.

“Paul deviated people towards lawlessness, through his strange philosophy that, the observance of the Law motivates to sin, thus justifying his innovation regarding the abolition of the Law” (ibid, p. 42)

“…not a single human being will be made righteous in God’s sight through observance of the Law. For through the Law comes the knowledge of sin”.(Romans 3:20)

“Christ has ransomed us from the curse of the Law in as much as He became a curse for us” (Galatians 3:13)

“the Scripture has all men imprisoned under sin” (Galatians 3:22)

What Paul invented was a great misconception. Purpose of revelations from God Almighty is never to mislead the people, or to induce them with sin, instead, they are always for the guidance of mankind. With the same purpose, the Law of commandments were revealed to prophet Moses (pbuh), and in later age, prophet Jesus (pbuh) was to sent to confirm and honor them, and finally to complete them, but not to abolish them (ibid, p. 42)

According to Jesus, the lawless ones will be thrown in Hell. (This includes all Christians)

"So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,  and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:40-42 New American Standard Bible)
"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.' (Matthew 7:23, New American Standard Bible)

For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. (Mark 9:49)

"So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. (Matthew 23:28)

Christians are indeed hypocrites, they ignore the practical teachings of the Bible and discard the Jewish Law followed by Jesus (Matthew 5:17-20, 23:23) they practice what is called ‘selective morality’ and ignore the teachings of the Gospels, paying close attention to the epistles of Paul (only). Christians do not exist:

· Jesus commanded fasting (Matthew 4:2, 6:16) yet Christians do not fast.

· Jesus abstained from eating pork and drinking wine (Leviticus 10:9, 11:7, Matthew 5:17-20) yet Christians practice the exact opposite, they eat pork and drink wine! Paul said it was okay to drink wine 1Timothy 5:23. (There is a lesson to learn from the story of Noah!)

· Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day of infancy (Luke 1:59) yet Christians are not circumcised like Jesus. This equates to death penalty (Genesis 17:14)

· Jesus established the death penalty for those who abandon his teachings (John 15:6) yet Christians have abandoned his teaching but they are not being punished accordingly! The governments of Christian countries reject the Jewish Law because of the innovations of Paul. (He made everything permissible for them!)

· Jesus observed the Sabbath, (which is Saturday) yet Christians have broken this law by working on the Sabbath. This equates to death penalty (Exodus 31:14)

The laws which exist in the “Christian” countries of the West, the laws governing birth and death, the formation and dissolution of marriage, the rights over property within and outside marriage or in the event of divorce or death, adoption and guardianship, commerce, and industry, are not to be found in the gospels. They are not the laws which have been revealed to man by God. They are the fruits of deductive knowledge. They are either inherited from the Roman system of law, or are based on the common practice of people over a long period of time, or are statutes erected and amended in accordance with the democratic method, which is the bequest of the ancient Greeks. No one in today’s courts of law can refer to the gospels as a binding authority in his dealings with another man, and have it accepted. (Muhammad Ataur-Raheem, Jesus Prophet of Islam, 1992 edition, p. 205)

Jesus said his true followers will enter Paradise, those who follow his teachings.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed; (John 8:31)

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. (John 10:26-29)

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7:26-27)
The outright foolishness of Christians cannot be denied, Jesus rebukes today’s ‘adherents’ who boldly call themselves “Christian”.

But in vain they do worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men. (Matthew 15:9)

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? (Luke 6:46)

"I do not accept praise from men, (John 5:41)

The authentic Hadith says:

I heard the Prophet saying, "Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians praised the son of Mary, for I am only a Slave. So, call me the Slave of Allah and His Apostle."
Narrated 'Umar
Bukhari, Muhammad, "Sahih Bukhari", Kitab Bhavan, New Delhi, India, 1987, translated by M. Khan, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 654.
The Holy Quran says:
Say: "O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way. (5:77)

From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done. (5:14)

The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9:30)

As stated earlier, the teachings of Jesus were based on the Law, yet the Law is rejected by Christians today, so how could they be called Christians?

Moreover, the “Christians” do not follow the Gospel of Jesus; they follow the Gospel of Paul. The Nazarenes and Ebionties were followers of Jesus’ Gospel, which no longer exists today. Nevertheless, the “Christians” of today are not implementing the teachings of their “lord and savior” (see John 8:31) The Nazarenes/Ebionites never degraded Jesus by calling him “lord and savior”; they considered him a great Prophet and Messenger.

There is so much diversity and clash, so much chaos, in the Christian Church today that the old idea of a unified or systematic Christian truth has gone. For this, the ecumenical movement is too late. What has happened is that the Christian world has moved into that situation of open variety, of optional alternatives. It would seem no longer possible for anyone to be told or even to imagine that he can be told, what it means or should mean, formally and generically, to be a Christian. He must decide for himself and only for himself (Christianity on Trial, I, Colin Chapman, pp. 51-52)

The act of affirming what is in the Old Testament, and the gospels for that matter, and at the same time affirming belief in the doctrine of Trinity, is perhaps the greatest illustration of the exercise of doublethink within Christianity today. Thus the logic of the established Church’s metaphysic, based on doctrines which were not taught by Jesus, obscures not only the nature of Jesus, but also the Divine Unity. The metaphysic of Christianity today is totally opposed to the metaphysic which Jesus brought. The physical aspect of what Jesus brought, his code of behaviour, is today irrecoverably lost. To live as Jesus lived is to understand his message, yet there is virtually no existing record of how Jesus behaved. And what little knowledge exists is often ignored. The most fundamental act of Jesus was that of worship of the Creator, the whole purpose for which man was created. Yet it is evident that no Christian today makes the same acts of worship which Jesus made. Jesus usually prayed in the morning, at mid-day, and in the evening. The exact form of his prayer is no longer extant, but it known that is was based on the prayer which Moses was given. Jesus said that he had come to uphold the law and not to destroy it one jot or one tithe. Jesus was educated in the synagogue in Jerusalem from the age of twelve. He preached in the synagogue. He used to keep the synagogue clean. No Christian today can be found performing these actions. How many Christians have even been circumcised in the manner that Jesus was? The services now held in today’s churches were developed long after Jesus had disappeared. Many of them come directly from the pagan Graeco-Roman mythological rites. The prayers they use are not the prayers which Jesus made. The hymns they sing are not the praises which Jesus sung. Due to the innovations of Paul and his followers, there is no revealed teaching left as to what to eat and what not to eat. Anyone given a “Christian education” today eats what he feels like. Yet Jesus and his true followers only ate kosher meat and were forbidden to eat pig’s flesh. The last meal Jesus is known to have eaten before his disappearance was the Passover meal. No Christian today celebrates this longstanding Jewish tradition to which Jesus so meticulously held.
(Muhammad Ataur-Raheem, Jesus, Prophet of Islam, pp. 199-200)

In the preceding arguments, I have inquired into some of the fundamental doctrines of Christianity; the examination has led me to the conclusion that the dogmas of the Trinity, the Divinity of Jesus, the Divine-Sonship, the Original Sin and Atonement are neither rational nor in conformity with the teachings of Jesus. These dogmas came into being and were due to pagan influences. They show that Christianity has departed considerably from the religion of Jesus. (A.D. Ajijola states in his book “The Myth of the Cross”)

Unfortunately, the observance of Jesus is not possible today because his teachings have been seriously corrupted and altered. The scholars of “Christianity” admit that they do not possess the original manuscripts from which we can derive the authentic words of Jesus. Hence, the only way to follow Jesus today is by following Islam:

He who follows Prophet Muhammad automatically follows the true Jesus:

“The guidance imparted through the Prophets of the past was not complete. Every Prophet was followed by another who effected alterations and additions in the teachings and injunctions of his predecessors and, in this way, the chain of reform and progress continued. That is why the teachings of the earlier Prophets, after the lapse of time, were lost in oblivion. Obviously there was no need to preserve the earlier teachings when amended and improved guidance had taken their place. At last the most perfect code of guidance was imparted to mankind through Muhammad (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) and all previous codes were automatically abrogated, for it is futile and imprudent to follow an incomplete code when the complete code exists. He who follows Muhammad (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) follows all the Prophets, for whatever was good and eternally workable in their teachings has been embodied in his teachings. Whoever, therefore, rejects and refuses to follow Muhammad’s (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) teachings, and chooses to follow some other Prophet, only deprives himself of that vast amount of useful and valuable instruction and guidance which is embodied in Muhammad’s (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) teachings, which never existed in the books of the earlier Prophets and which was revealed only through the Last of the Prophets”
(Towards Understanding Islam, Mawdudi, p. 79)

Most Greek-speaking authors heard these traditions in the Aramaic vernacular and committed them to writing in Greek. None of these writings is dated prior to the year 70 C.E.; there is not a single instance in these works where the author has cited an authority for an event or maxim attributed to Jesus (peace be upon him) in order that we might construct a chain of transmission. Furthermore, even their works have not survived. Thousands of Greek manuscripts of the New Testament were collected, but none of them is older than the fourth century C.E.; rather the origin of most of them does not go beyond the period intervening between the 11th and the 14th centuries.  (Lecture of Sayyid Abdul Al-Ala Mawdudi, recorded in The Message of the Prophet’s Seerah, pp. 8-9)
“The real death of a Prophet consists not in his physical demise but in the ending of the influence of his teachings. The earlier Prophets have died because their followers have adulterated their teachings, distorted their instructions, and besmirched their life-examples by attaching fictitious events to them” (ibid, Mawdudi, Towards Understanding Islam, p. 57)

"The original copies of the NT books have, of course, long since disappeared. This fact should not cause surprise. In the first place, they were written on papyrus, a very fragile and perishable material. In the second place, and probably of even more importance, the original copies of the NT books were not looked upon as scripture by those of the early Christian communities." [George Arthur Buttrick (Ed.), The Interpreter's Dictionary Of The Bible, Volume 1, pp. 599 (Under Text, NT).]

It is reported that Abu ‘Abd Allah (‘a) said, “Allah did not raise a messenger without there being two devils concurrent who caused him suffering and tempted him, and misled the people after him.

As for the five Possessors of Determination (Ulu al-‘Azm) of the messengers, they are Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace and blessings be with them.

As for the companions of Noah, they were FayTífus and Khiràm. For Abraham there were Makíl and Radhàm. For Moses, there were Sàmirí and Mar‘aqíbà.

For Jesus, there were Bulus (Paul) and Marísà.

And for Muhammad, there were Habtar and Zuraiq.”

More Questions:

Q7. ) Was John the Baptist Elias? "This is Elias which was to come." Matthew 11:14

Response: --- When John began his ministry he would not have known that he was ‘the Elijah who was to come.’ --- He came as a forerunner to Jesus and denied being the Christ, or Elias, or That Prophet (like unto Moses), but he said of himself:
“I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straight the way of the Lord.” John 1:23, which was a prophecy from Isaiah 40:3-5.

When Jesus said in Matthew 11:14, --- “If you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah (Elias) who is to come.”
12. “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

--- It would perhaps only be accepted by those who understood the prophecies, so no one was told before this that John fulfilled the role of Elijah.

Q8. ) Matthew 2:15, 19 & 21-23 The infant Christ was taken into Egypt. Luke 2:22 & 39 The infant Christ was NOT taken to Egypt.

Response: --- The Scripture  Luke 2:22 & 39 The infant Christ was NOT taken to Egypt. ---  doesn’t say that Jesus was NOT taken to Egypt, but there is the time element that is not recorded by Luke.

THE SHORT ANSWER IS: --- They came from Bethlehem to Jerusalem to dedicate Jesus to the Lord after the 40 days of Mary’s purification. --- Then went to Nazareth in Galilee, which was their home town.
The Wisemen that came from the East did not arrive in Jerusalem till months, or perhaps a year after Jesus was born, so after the events in Matthew 2, leading up to v 23, could have been up to 2 years, --- before they went back to Nazareth.

Here are the Scripture verses:
Luke 1:26. Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
27. To a virgin betrothed (engaged) to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgins name was Mary.

---( Mary became pregnant by the Holy Spirit of God and an angel told Joseph to take Mary as his wife, Matthew 1:20, --- they were married, --- and later they had to go to Bethlehem to be registered for taxation.)

Luke 2:4.  Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,
5 to be registered with Mary, his wife, who was with child.
6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son,

2:21.  And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.

22.  Now when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord, Lev 12:
1. Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a woman has conceived, and borne a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her customary impurity she shall be unclean.
3 And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
4 She shall then continue in the blood of her purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary until the days of her purification are fulfilled.

--- So the length of her purification was 40 days, and after that they brought Him to Jerusalem to be dedicated to the Lord. --- While they were in the Temple Jesus was recognized and this happened:
2:25.  And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
27 So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law,
28 he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said:
29 “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace,
According to Your word;
30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation

39.  So when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city, Nazareth.
--- (Remember, Joseph and Mary had come from Nazareth, so having come to Jerusalem, which was 5 miles from Jerusalem, they seemingly made the trip north some 40-50 miles to visit their families.
There may have been two reasons why they would have returned to Bethlehem later. --- First, Joseph, being a carpenter may have gotten a job during their 40 days stay, before they came to Jerusalem. --- Second, if Mary was thought to have been pregnant before they were married (as suggested in Surah 19: 27-28), --- so they may not have felt so welcome, and after their visit, returned to Bethlehem.

Matthew records that the Wisemen came from the East and said, “Where is He who is born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star and are come to worship Him.”
Herod asked when they had seen the star and no doubt how long they had been traveling, because he acted on that later. --- The scribes had identified that Christ was born in Bethlehem, so Herod said, “Go and search for the Child and when you find Him, come back and bring me word so that I might go and worship Him.”

Matthew 2:11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
12 Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.
--- (This happened perhaps a number of months or a year after Jesus was born because, if they saw the star when Jesus was born, and they travelled from the East by caravan, it would take them some time.)

Often in the ‘Nativety Scene’ they show the Wisemen at the manger, but that is not Scriptural . --- Because what proves that it was at a later time is that when the Wisemen came, they were living in a house, and Jesus was called a young Child, --- not a baby.

Also, this verse verifies the later date, Matthew 2:
16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men
--- (It would not been necessary to kill the  children up to 2 years old, if Jesus had been a babe in arms, as He would have been when they went to Jerusalem after 40 days, and then went on to Nazareth.)

--- (Herod died within a year after giving the order to kill the children.)
19 Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
20 saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.”
21 Then he arose, took the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel.
22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee.
23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, “He shall be called a Nazarene.”

--- When they went back to Israel, they would no doubt plan on going to the place left in Bethlehem, in Judea, but because Herod’s son was now the king, they would still be in danger, so they went to their hometown of Nazareth in Galilee.

Q9. ) Matthew 5:1-2 Christ preached his first sermon on the mount. Luke 6:17 & 20 Christ preached his first sermon in the plain.

Response: --- They always chose an elevated position to speak from because they had no amplification, and often found a place where the hills were rounded like an Amphitheater.

Luke said in Chapter 6:
12. Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
13 And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:
--- (If there is anything that should convince you that JESUS WAS NOT GOD, --- it should be this: That Jesus went up the mountain and prayed all night before He chose the twelve Apostles.
--- So He naturally had God’s guidance in choosing them.)

17 And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases,
18 as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed.
19 And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.

--- (Notice that Jesus called the disciples ‘to Himself,’ --- so they were no doubt part way up the mountain when He called them up to Himself.
Then He went down with them to a level spot, and the multitude of people were coming up to meet Him, because “They came to hear Him and to be healed,” so they were coming to Him.

--- So He took time to heal them and then as was the custom, He would sat down to speak to them from an elevated ‘level’ position on the mountain side.)

Hi LoveforTruth,

I appreciate all that you have submitted on this topic and on --- ‘hidden facts’ about what Muslims believe.
Over the years I have been learning what has been said from guarded statements and expressions, but never with the clarity that you have presented it.

You have a great advantage over me because you can ‘copy and paste’ these long lectures, --- but I write responses one at a time as the Lord guides me.

So I thank you for all of this information which I may be responding to.
However, there are patterns developing in these hadiths that, --- as well as defaming Jesus and the Apostles like Paul, it shows the favoritism of the students of this teaching towards Judaism rather than Christianity, --- of whom the Quran approved.

If there is a tendency toward Judaism, why then is the mindset in Islam to destroy the Jews?

--- In trying to confuse the message of the OT with the NT to discredit the message of the Gospel, --- you really reject both because both say that man cannot save himself. --- God’s word says that man went astray, and needed a Savior.
--- Those of you who reject the Old and New Testaments (though Gabriel approved them, and the Quran contains the history of them both), --- have really become anti-Jewish, and anti-Christian.

When Jesus came, John said, “For the Law was given by Moses, but Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ. --- (Jesus was the man, --- Christ meant Messiah.)
Jesus said, “Unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5.

John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.
35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

The Jews were under the laws of the Pharisees and supposedly had to be obedient to the law, --- believing that would make them righteous. --- But Jesus said,
“You are slaves of sin.”

To be set free from sin they had to believe in God and accept Jesus as the Savior/Messiah that God sent, who was CALLED the Son of God, --- and through Faith they would be ‘adopted’ as ‘children’ into the ‘family of God.’
Then they would be free of the law and saved from sin.

--- Jesus said, A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another,” --- “For love is the fulfilling of the Law.”

What seems to have happened in Islam is that from the simple rules of Faith in God, daily prayers, proper worship of God and the ‘good works’ that flow out of surrender to God, as given in the Quran, --- the leadership has rejected ‘salvation by faith’ --- and has adopted the same pattern of laws and rules that the Pharisees imposed.

Muslims say that Islam (which means, surrender to God) is a complete lifestyle, --- okay, but if it is a lifestyle of saving one’s self by their own ‘good works,’ --- then it is, ‘surrender’ unto the lifestyle of ‘man-made’ laws, which follows the pattern of the ‘man-made’ laws of the Pharisees, --- then their righteousness is no better than the scribes and Pharisees, --- to whom Jesus said, “You will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”
This is why Paul preached that we are no longer under the Law, because the law did not bring us to salvation, which is what Jesus said, “If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed,” --- So this is the lifestyle of Faith. “Freedom in Christ.”
-
You don’t have to believe what I am saying, but I am making the observation from what Muslims teach as being different to what the Quran teaches.

Jesus said this, --- which gives the promise to the believers:
“Most assuredly I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:24.

So here is why Christians don’t get hung up on doctrines and disputes about words, because Jesus said, “Whoever hears (follows) My Word and believes in Him (God) who sent Me, has everlasting life.”
--- God gives the ‘assurance’ of salvation through His indwelling Holy Spirit at the time when one truly believes,

I said the Quran favored the Christians, --- as in Surah 3:
55.   Behold! God said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.

--- I will respond to Post 21 later, as well as more questions on the list.

Actually, to understand that we respect the REAL teaching of Jesus - 'Issa (as) and reject only the distorsions of the Tawrat (included in the OT) and the Gospel (Injeel), you should maybe read this :

http://www.al-islam....bible/index.htm

Here is a hadith on Faith in Islam :

Imam As-Sadiq’s Wording of the Quality of Adoration to the Prophet’s Progeny, Monotheism, Faith, Islam, Atheism, And Evil

Imam as-Sadiq (peace be upon him) asked the man who attended before him about his manner. ‘I am one of your followers and adherents,’ answered the man. Imam As-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
God will surely accept the servant whom He loves and will surely give Paradise to him whom He accepts.
‘Which class of our followers are you?’ asked the Imam (peace be upon him). The man found no answer. Sadir intruded to ask the Imam (peace be upon him), ‘How many classes are your followers, son of the Prophet?’ Imam as-Sadiq spoke:
Our followers are three classes. A class is those who pretend themselves our followers while the reality is the opposite, a class is those who cherish us secretly and do not follow us in public, and a class is those who cherish us openly and secretly. They are the highest group. They drank from the fresh water and had knowledge of the interpretation of the Book (of God), the distinction between the right and the wrong, and the causes of everything. Therefore, they have become the highest group. Poverty, destitution, and the varieties of crises are hastier than racehorses to them. They have suffered hardship and damage and they have been shaken and tested. Hence, they have been wounded and slain, scattering in the remote countries. Through them, God heals the ailed and richens the deprived. Moreover, you gain victory, rainfall, and earnings only through them. They are the fewest, but the owners of the greatest standings with God. The third class is the lowest group. They loved us in public, but they pursued the kings’ practices. Their tongues are with us while their swords are unsheathed in our faces. The second class is the middle group. They loved us secretly and ignored us openly. I swear if they love us secretly not openly, they are the fasting in days and the worshippers at night. The signs of seclusion are shown on their faces. They are peaceful and submissive people.
The man declared, ‘I am one of those who love you secretly and openly.’ The Imam (peace be upon him) said:
Our followers in secret and openness enjoy a number of indications with which they are realized.
As the man asked about these indications, the Imam (peace be upon him) said:
These are certain characters the first of which is that they knew monotheism perfectly, they excelled in the rules of God’s oneness, and finally they believed in God’s oneness and its description. Then they recognized the outlines, facts, provisions, and interpretation of faith.
Sadir intruded, ‘O son of God’s messenger, I have never heard you describing faith in such a form before.’ The Imam (peace be upon him) answered: Yes, Sadir. The asker should not ask about faith before he knows the One in Whom he must believe.’ ‘O son of God’s messenger,’ asked Sadir, ‘Would you please explain what you have said?’ The Imam (peace be upon him) spoke:
He who claims that he knows God due to the imprint of the heart is polytheist. He who claims that knows God by name, not meaning, is declaring the contrary, because the name is new (created). He who claims that he worships the name and the meaning is associating others with God. He who claims that he worships the meaning by the description, not realization, is referring to something absent. He who claims that he worships the description and the described is nullifying God’s oneness because description is something other than the described. He who claims that he adds the described to the description is belittling the great. They have no true respect of God.
‘What is the course to the true believing in God’s oneness, then?’ some asked. He (peace be upon him) said:
The door of search is opened and the pursuit of the exit is existing. The knowledge of the present should precede his description while the knowledge of the description of the absent should precede the knowledge of him.
‘How can we know the witness before we know his descriptions?’ they asked. He (peace be upon him) answered:
You should first know him, know his knowledge, and know yourself through him. You should not know yourself through yourself. You should also know that whatever he has is to him and through him. As an example of this is Joseph’s brothers when they addressed to him, ‘Are you Joseph?’ He said, ‘Yes, I am Joseph and this is my brother.’ They knew him through him. They neither knew him through others nor did they know him by themselves due to the imprints of their hearts. God says:
You could not even plant one tree.[228]
This means that you should not appoint a leader for yourselves out of your whims and wills. As for three categories, God will not speak to them, will not look at them on the Day of Resurrection, will not second them, and will arrange for them a painful chastisement. They are those who plant a tree that God did not plant, i.e. those who appoint a leader for themselves out of their own whims, those who deny a leader that God appoints, and those who claim that those two persons have anything to do with Islam. God says:
Your Lord creates and chooses to whomever He wants. They do not have the choice to choose whatever they want.[229]

The Quality of Faith

Imam As-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

The meaning of the quality of faith is the declaration, submission to God and seeking His favors through the declaration, and the fulfillment to Him through having knowledge of every obligatory matter, whether big or small, beginning with the outline of God’s oneness up to the last chapter of obedience without missing anyone. All this should be connected and matched up to each other.

If a servant fulfills what is imposed upon him according to what we have recently explained, he will then deserve the quality of faith and will deserve the reward duly.

This is because the meaning of faith is the declaration and the meaning of declaration is the sincerity of obedience. This proves that obedience as a whole is related to each other.

A believer loses the quality of faith only when he ignores (deliberately) the matters due to which he deserved to have that quality.

He deserved the name and meaning of belief meritoriously only when he fulfilled the grand duties connectedly and neglected and avoided the disobediences.

He also will not abandon the quality of faith when he commits insignificant acts of disobedience to God and ignores the insignificant acts of obedience.

God says:

If you avoid the grand violating that which has been prohibited, your sins will be forgiven and you will be admitted into an exalted dwelling.[230]

This holy saying proves the fact that we have recently indicated. Accordingly, forgiveness is obtained when the grand sins are avoided. If a grand sin is committed, all of the acts of disobedience, whether grand or insignificant, will be taken in the consideration of judgment. Hence, castigation and penalty of all the acts of disobedience (to God) will fall. This is the quality of faith and the quality of a believer who deserves the reward duly.

When Christians believe that we are only saved by faith, Jesus - Issa (as) said that faith without act is void :

Muawiyah Ibne Wahab asked Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq (a.s.), "Which is that meritorious deed that brings one closer to his Lord?" Imam (a.s.) replied,

"After the Marefat (recognition) of Allah, the Prophet and Imam no deed is superior to Prayer.

Don't you see that the righteous slave of Almighty, Hazrat Isa (a.s.) said, 'As far as I am alive, the Almighty Allah has commanded me to pray and pay the poor-rate'?

The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) was queried regarding the Best of deeds and he replied: Of all the good deeds the best is a prayer that is offered at the earliest hour."

Hi Solomon,

Quote from Post 25:
Is the King "the one who's a descendant of David who's going to build the temple for God'' the same as the Messiah (Jesus)?

Response: --- Yes, Jesus came as the coming Messiah and King.

When the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would have a son, he said this in Luke 1:
26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.
28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”
29 But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was.
30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.
32 He will be great, and will be CALLED the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be CALLED the Son of God.

--- (I capitalized the word CALLED, to emphasize that Jesus, the Messiah, came from God, and had a human body through Mary, but a Divine Spirit from God.)

According to Prophecy, the Messiah would come through the line of David. The genealogy of Joseph through David’s son Solomon is given in Matthew 1.
Joseph was the foster father, so the genealogy was recorded from him as the father, for the Jewish records.

And the genealogy of Mary through David’s son Nathan is given in Luke 3 (v 31), so this was the blood line.

When Jesus talked about the temple that He would build, it was not a material temple, but he was referring to the ‘temple of the body.’
---Luke 17:20.  Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;
21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

John 2:18. So the Jews answered and said to Him, “What sign do You show to us, since You do these things?”
19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20 Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”
21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body.
22 Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

To fulfill the Prophecy that 'Jesus will sit on the throne of David as King,' this is yet to come when Jesus Christ returns, as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, --- Rev 19:16.

James said in 2:20 "Faith without works is dead." Very much the same as you are saying here. The real Christians hear and adhere to this.

There is a movement, (hip hop/rap/[Edited Out]) that says "Jesus saves", they wear a big flashy cross and do whatever they like. Not to be taken seriously as they have no real knowledge, nor do they seek it. It's like saying I wear a turban therefore Allah will save me.

Hi Placid

So you are deducing that the king and the messiah(Jesus) is one. Because only when Jesus actually sits on the throne of David as king of kings  as you quoted can
you actually claim  for certain that he is the one promised to build the Lords Temple. It's now 2000 years later and this prophecy has not come to pass.

When do you feel this prophecy of Jesus sitting on the throne is going to become a reality . Certainly from reading the new testament you find that the disciples
thought that the end times was coming in there lifetime.
