I'm pretty sure anyone can go, as long as you meet the gender requirements!

No age restrictions, I believe...

from which countries they will be able to attend the trip?

I'm not sure sis, a friend of mine sent me this picture, but to my dismay it was only for Brother's :(

To be honest, I know as much as this poster shows I'm not sure of their restrictions, but I am assuming there isn't any as long as you are a brother, you have the means to attend, and you apply then I'm sure your set! But, there is contact information for those of yall who are interested or need additional information.

tanx sis ab information,  I asked it for one of my friends who lives in UK. I saw their email domain and it is "ayauk.Live.co.uk" so it means they may accept him. -_-

Yeah, I believe this trip was organized through some Husseinya located in the UK. Called: Ahlulbayt Youth Association.

Mashhad is not a problem in June. It's quite bearable for the soft European bums. But Qom and Tehran may pose problems of dehydration and diarrhea. They are far hotter than Mashhad.

^ Guys, everywhere in Iran is hot during June. And if you want to avoid the sun, then the only place to go would be... Mazandaran or Gilan or something. Maybe Torkustan or Kurdistan, as well...

Most of Iran is very hot in summer (at least, by European standards). Qom is much hotter than Tehran, but the difference between Mashhad and Tehran is like splitting hairs IMO.

They should be taking tour groups in Iran NOW, when the weather is nice and mild and everywhere is green.

I have always found Tehran and Qum to be hotter than Mashhad for some reason. The latter is also chillier than the mainland Iran during winters. Perhaps there isn't much difference between the degree centigrade but the heat and humidity factor in two areas differ a lot.

Whereas Mashhad cools down in the evening, Tehran smoulders with humidity.

Oh and then compare those with Bandar Abbas. That place offers the horrors of Emirati desert in June. Been there done that.

Well, I doubt my parents would let me go alone to the UK and then to Mashhad. I think if I lived in the UK it'd be easier, as I'd probably be going with people I somewhat know. As for missing exams, a trip to go see my relatives whom I haven't seen in (will be three years) was called off due to the possibility of having an exam on the flight date, I highly doubt my parents would allow me to completely miss all exams for this trip, (although I wouldn't really mind).

it is still 16th farvardin and the temperature of Mashhad was 21c today ,it will reach to 26 next week, I went out today around noon and it was very hot!
maybe Mashhad cools down around evening, but in July and June, around noon,  when za'ars go to shrine and they need to walk for long time inside of shrine, they will literally burn.

Mashhad has longer winters than Tehran for sure. And Tehran's mountains trap both heat and smoke. So maybe you're right.

I've only been to Mashhad once and it was in the summer. I didn't see it as much different than Tehran, but maybe that was just the luck of the draw.

One thing is for sure, and that's that right now is the most ideal time. Cloudy, temperate weather in most of the country. Bandar Abbas is starting to smelter and Ardebil is still hovering around 0 degrees centigrade, but most of the country is nice.

Qom is above 30 degrees from early April until late October. Being from Canada, I absolutely cannot handle the heat and it makes me sick, which is horrible since I am studying here :(

I was replying to the other posts about the heat in Iran.
I'm not complaining at all but cannot help that the heat makes me sick. Qom is known for its extreme heat and even Imam Khomayni (ra) said anyone who stays in Qom during the summer is crazy.
