Welcome to  ShiaChat Quran recitation dedicated to hasten the reappearance of Imam Mahdi

Imam Mahdi says ''When you pray for my early reappearance,  I pray for your well-being ''

Please state below which Juz of the Quran you are willing to read . Let's unite together and do as many Quran completion as we can.  Once you've finished your juzu, let us know in this topic , and I will ray your name to indicate that you're done ,so we can move on to another round. You can chose to do more than one juz at the same time

May Allah reward you , bless you and fulfill your dua's.
May we all be able to stand up with Qa'im when he rises .

and can the quran sharif be recited in any language - english

it's not called ignorance when you ask

Juz is a chapter from the quran , usually it's 20 pages.

You can read the translation in english, however if you don't know arabic , i would highly recommend you to listen to an audio on youtube , as one of the miracles of the Quran is the arabic language and it's effect on the soul

The Qur'an is divided into 30 juz'.

Salaam,

If you want people can just quote the list and add their name, and then when they are done they can write 'complete' by their name. I believe it was done this way in another thread that also involved Qur'an recitation.

just a suggestion for next time...

Maybe Nader can confirm and/or enlighten us but the 30 juz was something done by Uthman [EDITED] so that the quran could be completed in 30 days of Shahr Ramadhan in the taraweeh prayers... (I wonder if the juz system is a biddah?)


Next time you might wanna break it down into suras instead of juz.


for example I would like to do sura isra and kahf so I will take a piece of both and sign up for juz 15.
