My user name is LadyNadine. How it was made one day is I was in my English Literature Class (English lit major) when we kept learning about ladies that are entitle to be Lady. It was their royal title.

So I believe that every girl is consider to have that time. Like every girl is a lady, just like every man is a gentleman or a duke. I know corny. LOL Nadine comes across because this is my name actually (no not a convert lol). So LadyNadine was born. I tried to coming up with something different but LadyNadine is very much attach to me.

And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in] neglect." Mine is just the Muslim name I chose after our amazing first Imam Ali (as) after I converted to Islam on the 20th of Ramadan 2011. I don't believe I knew the significance of the two dates of 19th and 21st in regards to Imam Ali when I converted and chose that name, so I guess it is quite fitting that my name is Ali.
Imam Ja`far as-Sadiq [a] said:

"For everything there is weighing and measuring except tears. One tear drop can extinguish oceans of fire. If the eyes flood with tears, the face will not suffer hardship and humiliation. When tears flow out, Allah forbids them from the Fire. And if a person weeps in a nation, such nation will receive favors."

well I think this life is continuous struggle for a mumin or may be for every single human being, every single day and even every single passing hour there is a struggle with u r nafs, desires, attractions of this world, laziness, ignorance, satanic thoughts, sleep, hunger, oppression, twisted opinions of others, family, siblings and so on and so on..........................,   hence I can simply say huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
struggling onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn,   Can't be rested here, even when u r happy it's is struggle, when u have something u want in this world, it form basis for a  new struggle..........
hence my user name struggling_on

What is "the world" except the forgetfulness of God.

It is not family, possessions, wife and children.

Tinkerbell becuse I used to think am her when I was little. Yes I collected her books and stuff and I still like collecting cute things like hello kitty.

I dont know what I was thinking when I picked kim, its probabaly because I like names that start with k, but not the name kadiam. But yeh most of been one of my dumb moments because I really dislike that name alot now.

Silly stuff you regrat aftwards, we all go through stuipied stages in life. I should of picked a better name....

Mine is pretty obvious: Awaiting for the 12th Imam, but i have to explain it as some members in past and some presently still make fun of it. Apparently they think its funny and it means i am awaiting for 12 your olds.
I dont mind what people say to me personally, but NEVER joke about my beliefs (which i expect from nasibis but apparently our own shias have trouble with this).
Ya Ali tera haseen naam bhala lagta hai
Teri nisbat say ye Islam bhala lagta hai

Meray dil ko ye ilzam bhala lagta hai

Salaam Alaykum Fellow Members.

Your Shiachat Username... How did you name it or what does it mean? Mine is simple - its my first name.

I thought this would be a nice topic for us to share and help us know each other better.

XXX Mahdiyah Khanam  :)
Well my real name is Raafiah (: so I was chatting with a group of people and one girl jokingly posted a pic of a monkey and said it was me :P and then a brother who helped me become Shia said I must be Raafiki (the monkey guy in lion king, but in the lion king it's spelled "rafiki") lol so I used that as my username :P
I used to hate when he called me Raafiki but now I smile every time I see the lion king

does "very jealous of mushu" ring a bell? -_-
Someone picked up the head of Hussain: "These lips that kissed The Prophet now kiss the dust."

"Sometimes you find requests are not immediately granted. Do not be disappointed. Fulfillment of desires rest in the true purpose or intention of the prayer. More often fulfillment is delayed because merciful Lord wants to bestow upon you suitable rewards. In the meantime bear patiently hardships, believing sincerely in His help. You will get better favours, because, unknowingly you may ask for things which are really harmful to you. Many of your requests, if granted, may bring eternal damnation. So at times, withholding fulfillment is a blessing in disguise."

It's part of a line from a song I liked back when I used to listen to music. And I used it for my SC account because I ask a lot of questions. I really wanna know more about Islam, the Imams, how to get closer to Allah, etc.

what i really wanna know...
what i really wanna say,
i can't define
Err on the side of caution kindness.

My First SC name was my real name, then someone told me it is not a good idea to use your own name. So I made a thread about name change and wrote my current SC name in the end. So an admin gave me this name. I am happy with it. It keeps perverts away. :D
