Salaam Fellow Users :)

Continental meals... who likes them? You know the kind of food you have when you are in the Airplane or in some grand hotel. Food that is internationally well known and liked, usually simple meals are safer.
What is your favourite continental food and where did you try it?

Im pretty sure oysters and insects arent halal o.O not sure about snails =\

Where did you get this menu? Lol

generally i like a light soup as a starter or something salady. If im eating out i dont go for the stodgy pud, so a mousse or fruit salad or icecream. If im home bring on the rolypoly with custard ^_^

Salaam Fellow Buddies.
I was recently taken to a foreign restaurant and remembered a few of the items I read on the menu thats all. The real menu was alot more confusing but I just picked out a few that came into my mind.
Anyway I choose something much simple in the end.

Voted.

I don't really like the options given under the continental desserts or snacks/nibbles.

I once saw on a menu (I cant exactly remember where) petrified prawns for starters. Does anyone know what that is?
