Does anyone here go through food phases? for example, for about a month I ate grilled almost for everyday and now I'm going through an omelette phase (thanks to shiachat's omelette thread) lol...

That would be gross and unhealthy.
I simply must have a variety during the week, and I certainly wont eat meat every day, I'd have to have at least 2 veggie meals.
I remember though once I went almost a week without eating any fresh fruit - and I felt.. so.. wrong and just gross. It felt so good to tuck back into it though. I love fruit more than edibles.. nothing is more satisfying or makes you appreciate God's bounty than that.

I get cravings for certain foods that can last weeks. The beetroot sandwich one lasted quite a long time. Other long term cravings have been
Mackerel in olive oil
anchovies and cucumber
cucumber and salad cream sandwiches
