Salaam fellow members.

Two and a half meals a day... is the recommendation for an adult unless you have a very active or demanding lifestyle then by all means go for the full three but whatever you do not miss it out as breakfast is known to be the most important meal of the day!

(Even if you are Fasting there are no excuses - wake-up for your Suhuwr)!

What do you have for breakie?

My family has a bizarre habit of eating Potato Curry (aalu ki tarkari made with turmeric and black cumin) and paraathas at breakfast. And I love it!

For some reason I can't eat omelettes or fried eggs at breakfast. :\

Usually just toast and a glass of milk.
I could pretty much eat anything for breakfast apart from bananas or weetabix.

Lemon tea, then milky normal tea with some kind of carbohydrate: cereal/toast/pastry/yesterdays left overs or an omlette drizzled with marmite. What evers going really.

I rarely have breakfast mostly due to.me being an insomniac. But when I do have breakfast its either tea, cereal or porridge. I have porridge everyday but I have it at the time of lunch.

Wow, that is one heavy breakfast.

I do not have anything in 24 hours, just a dinner a day, means no breakfast, no lunch.

Halal beef bacon?? i know you can get halal sausages. but still that would be an unhealthy breakfast and would make you pass very stinky gas.

Well, the lemon tea is just lemon and hot water (sometimes ginger also), this is something my nana always did, its supposed to cleanse your system and help digestion and what have you. Then i wait a bit, like 15-30 mins and then have the normal tea (PG Tips decaf) with the food.

Just curious, if you don't mind telling (if you do, I can understand! :D ), are you Pakistani/Indian? Nana is the word for grandfather in Urdu so made me think you are...

Is the lemon/ginger tea herbal? i had herbal ginger tea on friday was okay. and nice touch with the pg tips decaf. If you have that for brekkie everyday or most days then you must be one active person. i have the most f****d up eating routine, i wake up in the afternoon like 1/2 pm, pray then have breakfast which consists of porridge and tea. i then have lunch after maghrib and isha prayers which is at 6 pm. then have dinner at 10/11 pm. then stay awake at nigth and maybe have some midnigth snack. im a rebel :)

i think she was referring to the english term nana which means mum's mum if im correct. she sounds more like arab to me than pakistani.

Assalam Alikum.

Today I made kishiq with garlic. Tea, is usually what I drink when I eat lebna, manakeesh, or cheese.
