It is not really a Shia term but just applied by some who claim to be Shias.

It is much more used to refer to Wahabis but some do use it to refer to Sunnis as a whole.

Like I have said, it is not a Shia word and has, just recently, been coined by some...

Supposedly a way to call Sunnis by their cherished leader Abu Bakr, but to me it sounds a bit offensive.

It wasn't meant in an offensive way. 'Bakri' means goat in Urdu, so that is what was meant.

I'm a follower of Muhammad sall Allahu 'alayhi wa alihi wa sallam. Does that make me to be a, say, Muhammadi? No. I'm a Muslim.
Only Shia love to claim to be a Shi'i (the follower of Imam Ali (as) ).
How superior is Imam Ali (as) as compared to Rasulullah sall Allahu 'alayhi wa alihi wa sallam?

we all would like to believe that we are truly following the religion of Mohammad (pbuh)......We have chosen different ways/path to understand the religion....You follow Quran and Sunnah and we follow the Quran and the Ahlul Bayt.

No Shia will ever claim that ALi (as) is superior to MOhammad (pbuh) when we state teh shahadat that he is the wasi ur rasool Allah.

However, you need to convince yourself about the source of sunnah since the sheikhan not only explicity banned and prohibited the recording of hadith, they burned whatever collection they had on themselves.

Whoever follow Abu Bakr after prophet s.a.w is bakri and who follows Imam Ali a.s is a Shia.

Bakris are muslims in this world only.

Shias are muslims in this world and hereafter too.

So that what you call us after we call you Rafidis eh?
Lol this is somehow funny though.

Sunnis claim themselves to be Sunnis because they say that they follow the sunnah of Rasulullah sall Allahu 'alayhi wa alihi wa sallam. But Shias disagree with that, so, Shias call them Bakris (the followers of Abu Bakr (ra)).

Shias claim themselves to be Shias because they say that they follow Imam Ali (as). But Sunnis disagree with that, so, Sunnis call them Rafidis (those who reject; Abu Bakr (ra), Umar (ra) and Uthman (ra)).

Salafis claim themselves to be Salafis because they say that they follow the salafus soleh (the Sahabas). But we all disagree with that, so, we call them Wahhabis (the followers of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab).

Lol this is funny. Names are here and there. :D

Just look at you own quote and you will realize how unfair you guys are with shias. Forexample you guys follow Abu Bakr after Prophet (as conflict starts after prophet s.a.w) so we call you Bakri but we follow Imam Ali a.s and instead of calling us shias you people impose 'rafadhi' label on us for not taking your leaders after prophet s.a.w!!!

Just one simple question, out of all those names Bakris, Shias, Rafidhi, Salafi, Wahabi, which one was used by Prophet s.a.w for group of muslims in history!!!? (common history not one sided). Answer please

This is the problem a bakri can not be the follower of Muhammad pbuh because Muhammad pbuh never said that whoever followed Abu bakar, he followed me but in tens of his pbuh hadiths he persuaded us to follow Ali a.s. He said "ALI A.S IS TO ME AS HARUN A.S WAS TO MOSUS A.S". "ALI A.S IS FROM ME I AM FROM ALI A.S". "ALI A.S IS WITH QURAN, QURAN IS WITH ALI A.S". "ALI A.S IS WITH HAQ, HAQ IS WITH ALI A.S".
So safely we can say a follower of Ali a.s is follower of Muhammad p.b.u.h while a follower of Abu bakar can not be follower of Muhamad p.b.u.h. If he claims to be follower of Muhammad p.b.u.h then he can not be follower of Abu bakar because Muhammad p.b.u.h did not deprive a daughter from her inheritance or Muhammad p.b.u.h never imposed a battle for Zakat.

Who say that we don't follow Imam Ali (as)? There are 41 (some say 44) turuq in Sunni Sufism. And 40 of them (some say 43) are linked to Imam Ali (as). Only one of them, which is Naqshbandi order is linked to Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (ra).
