When your nickname is “Danger” because of your irresistible charms to women, then your reputation is pretty much secured — even after death.

Ancentus Akuku, a legendary Kenyan polygamist, passed away due to natural causes; he was in his late 90s. He first married in 1939, became a polygamist at 22 and married his last wife in 1992. He had more than 100 wives, and more than 200 children, each of whom he named personally. He had so many children that he set up two schools to educate them.

(More on TIME.com: See pictures of animals in Kenya.)

During Akuku’s prime, polygamy was a generally accepted practice in Kenya. Now, though, women have gained status in the country, and most say his situation would be nearly impossible in today’s society. If he had been American, though, he would have instantly been given a reality show on TLC. (ABC, via Newser. Video above from NTVKenya.)

I usually catch all the crazy polygamy news.. I wonder how i missed this one

Oh well - video below:

Are you sure this is not an obsession? And if one, it is not unhealthy?

Keeping up with news like this keeps me motivated towards my goal of having 4 permanent servants (aka "wives" ) - I view articles like this as inspiration. If this man can get 100 - shame on me if I cant reach my basic goal of 4

^ true.

Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) exhorts, Consider the word or action of a believer brother to be good, even if you are offended, and always think optimistically (about him) to the utmost. Do not think bad about him. If you do not get excuse in good actions, search for it over and over again, until the number (of excuses) reaches 70, if you still cannot find it, then think that we ourselves cannot think good about him.

^ It is possible, just that it won't be a very healthy one if it inherited much from its father. Also, if that marriage was Haram (for instance, if he was Muslim and he had done a fifth (and/or plus) da'im NikaH or from another religion which also imposed a limitation on the number), then its effects will show up as well.

You know what? If you want to be achieving that goal, you must really start making an effort to cut down on the poor, pathetic jokes. After a while, it can start getting a little annoying, if it did not to begin with.

Maybe you should start taking tips about how to be a ladies' man from those gentlemen in your know who did end up getting four wives? (So what if not all of them were permanent? And so what if they went on to lose ALL of them?)

Reading polygamist news wont get you closer to your goal.

How about buying a one way ticket to Kenya and starting your own Harem over there?

My role model.

Make 75 wives work, collect $2k a month, rest towards expenses (my income will be $1.8 mill a year).

Make 25 wives take care of the house & kids.

I protect the family and supervise. <insert my bicep pic>

I know....I know...it's not fair, a big responsibility and a burden, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for my family.
