So  in the future when you become old and you start seeing your hair turn white/gray ...would you dye it to maintain 'youth'?

Personally, I wouldn't. I would never want to harm my hair and would let nature take over. How About you?

Depends on the age I am when my hair goes grey...

If I'm still young (under 45), I'd dye it, but any older than that, I wouldn't care.

Do not walk proudly on the earth; your feet cannot tear apart the earth, nor are you as tall as the mountains.

Quote

There is a tradition of the Holy Prophet "With the help of hair-dye turn old age into youth so that you do not resemble the Jews". When Imam Ali was asked to comment on this tradition, he said that in the early stage of Islam there were very few Muslims. The Holy Prophet advised them to look young and energetic and not to adopt the fashion of the Jews (priest) having long, white flowing beards. But the Muslims were not in minority then, theirs was a strong and powerful State, they could take up any style they liked.

I am thinking to shave off the hair on my head. Is there anything in Islam that disallow women to be bald headed? :donno:

Someone picked up the head of Hussain: "These lips that kissed The Prophet now kiss the dust."

"Sometimes you find requests are not immediately granted. Do not be disappointed. Fulfillment of desires rest in the true purpose or intention of the prayer. More often fulfillment is delayed because merciful Lord wants to bestow upon you suitable rewards. In the meantime bear patiently hardships, believing sincerely in His help. You will get better favours, because, unknowingly you may ask for things which are really harmful to you. Many of your requests, if granted, may bring eternal damnation. Salam:) I had already been dying my hair for such a long time, I didnt even know what my natural color even was anymore, lol! When I converted to Islam, I decided to accept whatever color it was that Allah had given me-AND IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE ANY OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS  Very strange! Either way, I am through with dying it- it is a pain to keep up  and I can   do something better with my money, like help a hungry person:) But this is just my opinion. And because I was SO traumatized by what just happened to me, I can not resist mentioning it here-My husband came home the other day and he had dyed his beard AND his hair! I was like"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! What did you DOOOOO????? He had salt and pepper colored  hair and it was SO beautiful to me...Coupled with his wisdom and knowledge and beautiful smile and brown eyes and aklaq...MashAllah! But now he dyed it  Oh well...At least thats the only thing that changed, and none of the other aspects of himself:) It will grow back eventually, and he is still beautifiul to me:) Peace!

I do colour my hair, because I have FLU/Cough by birth and daily life tension/depression/debts, so my hair went gray in my early age.

LOL how did a flu make your hair go grey?
