The perfect man in my opinion would: live his life in the way of the Ahlulbayt
have a proper beard :)
know urdu and farsi
be good with kids
recite majalis or nauhas regularly
have had some sort of Islamic Education (maybe in iran)

Anyway now you all have to pray that I find someone like that :)
What would your perfect man/woman be?

To me the perfect man is the one who perfects his soul.

it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah ] { 2:45 }

he must have "marefat( real knowledge) of his religion" not only Islamic education. he should know why he is muslim, why God has created him? ...

his purpose in life must be close or the same as mine...

his nature must complete my nature...

he must be well in controling his "nafs"...

many other things as well... :shifty:

note: he must celebrate nowrooz with me every year. :excl:

lol women looking as though they KNOW what they want ?

PLease ask yourself , do you DESERVE the perfect man, before you demand one !!! Because believe you me once he comes along, im sure u wont want him no more, bec you will find some sort of defect in him !

and as tinkerbell said, what happened to arabic ?

Yallah good luck with your search, b ut i think the perfect male/female is one whom you get along with most, and that could be your local  bum around the corner, you NEVER know...

U cant ditch a guy bec he has a bad resume, and truth being said, most girls dont bec they have soft hearts, and are actually LOVING... unless ur one of those, i want this that rata tat tat

I did actually consider writing Arabic but then I thought asking for three languages is a bit much :D

I guess I did sound a bit picky. I would never reject a guy because he doesn't match all these criteria.

1- Has to be a true follower of the Ahlul Bayt (as)
2- On the same religious level as me
3- We should have the same purpose in life
4- Preferably from the same culture (though I'm not too picky)
5- He has to definitely know how to speak English
6- He should respect me

And that's about it really!

low blow o.0

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.

The most important things are already mentioned here..

Why are looks important? I agree a man has to be neat, clean, and a have healthy lifestyle though..But that also counts for the women ofcourse. But the looks are surely not important.

btw, a big plus would be if he knows how to handle the satellite dish and other electronical stuff :P

Well I think looks are pretty important, like you wanna be attracted to him, no?
But yea fixing stuff is super important, and cooking too (a total must), in my case this I don't exactly know how to cook, and of course being obedient :P...

any language, any culture, simple, mentally strong (ready to face wordly problems without a cry and weakness in emaan)
should love to travel and help me learn her culture and language (prefer arabic, farsi, turkish, sanskrit, greek)
loves to eat and research history and wander along with me frm town to town in search of god's secrets. (a little exaggeration)
