As for your question, wouldn't it be fair to admit that women are also somewhat spineless at times? And perhaps what you interpret to be spineless is in fact nothing but shyness. C'mon why should guys be expected to spill their hearts out to a girl they supposedly have in mind for marriage, whilst girls aren't? (assuming of course that's where you're coming from)

Men become spineless when they lose their spine, Al-Spine, just as a Woman can.
Technically a kafir is not necessarily spineless, he (or she) just doesn't realize he (or she) has one.
But technically a hypocrite, has lost his or her spine.

this questiion is already answered in Most scriptures- especially the Quran.
Allah- The SUPREME revealed in a whole chapter- how Pharoa (its important to know his blood line history and relationship with Musa(Moses) dealt with the Men and the women back then. This is the best explanation of exactly whats going on today around you.
Death is a part of living- if it wasn't ,'Time' wouldn't be pushing us All in that direction.
