I know a lot of the brothers on SC are studying in Qom.

If you are ever in Tehran, let me know so we can meet up. If you don't, I will take it as a personal insult against my honor.

Iran Air first class = I'm guessing not so great

Though Iran Air itself is wonderful. The food. The hospitality. The newspapers. The fitnah between passengers (often over who has the rights to a newspaper). The flight attendants who are so many in number that none of them have anything to do. The pre-flight dua for the health of the Leader.

It's like the entire country condensed into a single jet airplane.

But yeah, I am open even to meeting Marbles. That's the extent of the seriousness of my offer.

I'm graduating in 2013. The first thing I do, once I get a job and save enough, is to visit Iran. I'll contact you, if you're still around then.

Meeting even Marbles? And what about your generous offer to be my guide around Yazd countryside and Zoroastrian temples? And what of your promise that you'd inform me beforehand so I had enough time to travel?

And don't get me started over Hava payma jamhoori Islami Iran.

I don't know Yazd well enough to guide you, and there is no freedom in Iran. If i go to Yazd i would have to spend all the time with family.

You should find someone better.

But Tehran i just need to extricate myself for a day, which is fairly easy.

Guess I will have to pull off a solo trip this time round. This is gonna be comprehensive and detailed though, from the Caspian to the Persian Gulf and from Zahedan to Tabriz and beyond, luring Irooni girls into mutah, as I inch along the trail.

You're a renegade!

Oh I am sorry to cause offence :(

But to be very honest, "inch along the trail" wasn't in any way meant in an offensive way. I were talking about my travel through the length and breadth of Iran only. Trust me.

Honestly Iran Air ''airplanes'' are horrible,.I nearly died of fear when suddenly the plane (in the middle of the flight), without any warning started shaking| trembling |shivering whatever you could call it.  Unfortunately, that occurred just when I began eating the most delicious Persian dish ''JoJe kebab'' , the effect of this horrible shaking let the food enter "down the wrong pipe"--> laryngeal airway causing severe deadly choking :(..
I hurried and read the Shahada and thought my dead was near, Wallah without God's help & protection we couldn't have made it to Imam Khomeinis airport. Please people take my advice and don't fly with Iran Air but what's good with it they do have the cheapest flight tickets...

By the way are there any sisters living in Tehran? It would be nice if I could meet up with someone, have a quick catch and perhaps go to mountain climbing *Darband or Touchal*.. afraid of going there alone.

Uh, it is NOT easy. You have to wait years if you're applying from the US. If you want to study from the US, get a ziyarat visa and then have the hawza apply for your student visa after you get here. Just don't leave Iran until you get it. It's much faster that way and not likely to be outright denied.
