this topic is just for lebanese who can help , this guy is my friend he is handicaped , his father is very sick bcz of kidney failure , the guy needs a job , if any lebanese member here can help with this we will be grateful , i tried to find a job for him but i couldn't so we need ur help bothers and sisters

yeah i tried many things we need a person who can hire him , here in lebanon u can't work without a support , it's all about favioritism and nepotism

If your in the United Kingdom - London, try edgeware road, there are many Lebanese businesses, if you explain to them his situation, they may be willing to compromise...

have a look in duas.org and pray, also recite Zirayate Ashura for 40 days consecutively with the niyat or intention of getting a job,  and within those 40 days you should have reached success InshAllah, but continue until you have reached the 40 days. You dont need to do the lanats and salaams 100 times each, you could do it once each, and it literally takes less than 10 minutes to recite. Its helped a lot of people including me.

^^ sister it might be because you are asking only Lebanese people for help. That pretty much narrowed the scope. Among all the members of SC, there might only be like 10 regular lebanese members, out of those probably around 2 or 3 would be capable of helping. So you see its hard to find help here.

Though it is unlikely that anyone here could help, perhaps you should at least put what part of lebanon he lives in. Also does he have any skills, for example does he have a good command of classical arabic? (as well as any other language) - can he use a computer, would he be willing to translate books that are not translated etc...things along those lines

what kind of handy cap has he got, he could charge people for making up fasts or prayers, if he is able of course.

Shialady, why am I really sick? That's a very harsh statement... Because I take precautions? And I'm not that gullible? Bta3rfeh kamm internet scammers fi bil 3alam? Malayeen? W kell yowm bi seer heik chi... You want me to send you samples of stuff people get on the net or in their mails? Some made-up stories are quite touching and can make the weak hearted cry...

3al 2alileh give out more info and details and his whereabouts or "CV" or history, or experience or anything... You can't just come on and say that someone needs some help or money... Tell you what, if you find someone in here that helps that guy out, blindly just with just the few details you wrote up, I'll send you 50$ anywhere you want, go buy dinner with it or something...

Sister, if that is the case, there is a member here called 'the lion' he needs to get certain books translated into english, you should contact him, i'm sure it will be at least a years worth of work, the books might not be that easy to locate, but i'm sure if you look hard enough you will find them.

As for the prayers and fasts, i suppose the problem spoken about by v_h might put some people off, could your firend perhaps approach a sheikh of a well known mosque in order to obtain a 'letter of honesty', i'm not really sure how the whole process works, but you should look into it.

brother im sorry for my harsh statement but im not lying at alla ino shou jeyine bas khaberne ba3den u want more information ino i can send them by pm bas mesh in public the guy isn't a mendicant and he doesn't even know that im posting here it's my initiative i tried to help him but i couldn't so i posted here it's unreasonable to put his name and adress and phone number in public if somebody really wants to help i will send all information by pm

well he lives in haret hreik , he can translate books , he is a friend and a brother and nothing more , he can also make some typing jobs , between he studied law in university

There isn't one in particular, but I would imagine it is a service that many people might want to take advange of, if they have loved ones who passed away owing prayers and they don't have time to pray themselves. Or just on, the anniversary of someones death, you might want to give them a gift like this etc

You would have to work out a price list etc, and let it be known the service is available, i'm sure people would be interested. But of course there always is the issue of trust, as far as i know if you pay someone, who then does not pray, the person who the prayers were for will not get anything from it. this is no reflection on you or your friend, but many people aren't that trusting. As to how you would go about gettting that trust, i don't know, if somehow you could get a note from the office of sayed sistani or sayed fadlallah or sayed khamene'i, that might help.

Perhaps consult a local scholar about this, find out how it is done.
