Marmite : You either love it, or hate it.

To be honest I dont know whether I love it or hate it, too long since ive ate some and I cant remember whether I hated it or loved it the last time I had it :donno:

Though I did have some marmite snack bar which was

yeah I know it is non alcoholic but I just read on wiki that it is a by product of beer brewing. Does it have that nice but unusual smell to it like yeast bread?

well...i'm sitting here sniffing a pot trying to think how best to describe...it smells salty and i cant detect too much of a yeasty smell...its quite strong...maybe with umami?...like....a strong savouryness...but the saltiness is what i notice the most.

Salaam.
Omelettes... there are probably a hundred or so different varieties but one thing is for sure its a healthy quick meal if you check the oil ofcourse... best to use a non-stick pan! My fav omelette is one with plenty of greens in it. I like spinach - egg and spinach go well together. Somehow the combination of egg and tomatoes or egg and onions have never appealed to me so I dont mix those two, but greens blend in very nicely.
