^ Oh really ? Farid said in the debate thread there after the shia debater (by the way , Walid is not unknown. He has been posting here and running his own website) backed out and technically lost the debate that he would like some shia to continue it with him so why don't you volunteer for the debate lol? Even it is really hard to imagine that a copy paster like you will take part in such a scholarly debate.

Yes we had and have some like you and he on Shiachat, who pretend to be Shias.  He is always banned here whenever he comes back.
Imam Ali (as) said: Surely God has characterized the angels by intellect without sexual desire and anger, and the animals with anger and desire without reason. He exalted man by bestowing upon him all of these qualities. Accordingly, if man's reason dominates his desire and ferocity, he rises to the station above that of the angels, because this station is attained by man in spite of the existence of hurdles which do not vex the angels.

Farid has won the debate !!

It was an interesting debate but Farid's arguments were really strong and i had the impression from the beginning that the Shia debater will back out eventually. Congratulations to the Sunnis , congratulations to Farid and Eid Mubarak everyone.
you do realize the debate is still going on right? Walid took back his withdrawal and its still going forward.

I don't understand why they are beating around the bush and wasting time with a convoluted discussion on narrators. It seems to distract from the real topic.

Quote

Farid you cannot defend abu hurairah as you said we just scratching the surface. The proof against him is so compelling and i felt that if i carry on then this will only increase bad emotions and won't bring any benefit !!the discussion reached a point where you are rejecting the views of your scholars about him and this is a bit bad and shows desperation because you are not in the same level of dhahabi and al-bukhari and ibn katheer and others. Even the scholars who defended abu hurairah didn't reject this view of sho'bah but defined tadlees in different way.

secondly i thought if i carry on then what achievement will be made ?? that abu hurairah is not trustworthy for us as shias ? that's known to all. As for sunnis then they arefed since young age to love this man and even you bring them all evidence in the world they would still believe what they were taught about him.
If you want to carry on then i am here even though i tried to be kind and to avoid hurting your feelings by carrying on showing arguments against abu hurairah.
Not very surprising here. Doesn't look like a wahhabi/salafi is bounded by Sunni rijal.

And I don't understand why Walid said he is trying to avoid hurting someone's feeling. He took it upon himself to take up the challenge in that filthy nasibi website. Has he not seen half of the filth they manufacture over there?

Someone "winning" a debate somewhere actually changes nothing. Why don't the nawasib cherish and gloat about the pre-planned and staged "mustakilla" "debates" then? The "shia alim" on that tv show always loses horribly.

"I wanted a high position in life, I found it in modesty. I wanted leadership, I found it in giving advice. I wanted dignity, I found it in honesty. I wanted greatness, I found it in poverty. I wanted lineage, I found it in virtue. I wanted majesty, I found it in contentment. I looked for peace and found it in asceticism." - Uwais al Qarni

Seriously?! What was his username here? Coz he seems to be highly knowledgeable.

PS Walid, I know ur  reading  this thread as you've mentioned this in ur debate.   I'm sorry if i hurt your feelings by comparing you to abu mosa ashari (l.a). We just felt betrayed and highly let down by the fact that you accepted a challenge only to withdraw from it without thinking about the consequences before accepting the offer. We are glad that you've restarted again and pray that you do your best inshallah.

When did Lord Botta become a "Shaykh"? So, scholarship in Sunneeism is so cheap?! Farid a Shaykh?! Highly hilarious.

Now, look at Karrar's ID statement:

Goats grow better beards than Rawafidh do

And balance it against his own statements. Does that not make him look like a hypocrite?

Interesting debate, Walid seems to be doing quite well so far. I think some of the misunderstandings might be due to one's understanding of Arabic. I've seen Farid misunderstand some of the Arabic quotations he's made on that site (he got caught on it). I remember a while back he misunderstood Arabic sentences when I was discussing with him as well. I guess there is always room for improvement.

Although on the other hand, I think it would be better if Walid improved his English.

Would be nice if Shias grew their beards longer. Sometimes I feel like if I opened a razor booth at the Shia masjid, I could save up enough money to pay off a mortgage.

A message to other readers............plz ignore their drama. And also there are 100s of debates available on youtube between scholars and you can see that non shias always losing. So no need to follow such fake debate anyways in which no1 knows who is walid.

JazakAllah

You still haven't learnt your lesson, Muntaqim Force? Do you have no fear of Allah to accuse Shias of being Wahhabis during the month of Ramadan?
And they serve beside Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you (presume to) inform Allah of what He knows not in the heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and supremely exalted is He above what they set up (with Him). [Qur'an 10:18, Shakir translation]

Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah (alone) and (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, (saying), We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful. [Qur'an 39:3, Shakir translation]

Wasil himself admits he has a foul mouth. As to calling Farid a Shaykh, it isn't a religious title in essence.

Quote

The word in Arabic stems from a triliteral root connected with age and ageing: ش-ي-خ, shīn-yā'-khā'. The term literally means a man of old age, and it is used in that sense of all men in Qur'anic Arabic. Later it came to be a title meaning leader, elder, or noble, especially in the Arabian Peninsula, where shaikh became a traditional title of a Bedouin tribal leader in recent centuries. Due to the cultural impact of Arab civilization, and especially through the spread of Islam, the word has gained currency as a religious term or general honorific in many other parts of the world as well, notably in Muslim cultures in Africa and Asia.

The goat statement has never been proven false.

I accept your apology, but I think you also owe one to brothers haidar al karrar and diracdeltafunc. They are not Wahhabis (in fact haidar al karrar is a Shirazi), and you should wait to have absolute certainty before making these accusations. Just imagine what the consequences for you could be in the hereafter if you are wrong. Slander is a very serious sin.

He doesn't have a "teacher". He corresponds with Shi'i Mashaykh the same way most of us do - via email/ their websites. He's definitely independent and no Shi'i scholar has endorsed his website or unique beliefs.

This is also their pre planned agenda....that if we could not win the debate from a shia guy then make the environment so tough for him that any person with decency and knowledge just leave and then we will chant TECHNICALLY we won as the debater withdrew. Lol at these wahabi puppets ofcourse any person in his senses will leave your wahabi islamic so called haq yaar chaar jew forum in the end.

I'm not going to post any screenshots as that seems to be ur fied of expertise. If you actualy bothered to read the time i posted that post regarding the comparison i made between him and abu musa ashari l.a you will see that it was when walid had accepted withdrawal.  THis was a big let down to the whole shia community as he had fallen back on what he had promised to defend.

However he later restarted his debate and i offered him my apologies for the quick and harsh comment  that i made (and i hope he  accepted my apologies).

So bassikly you assumed that i participated in the 'wahabi lie' and without a second thought sent laan on me? What an idiot.
