Want to get involved with an initiative that will help put a smile on an orphan's face? Look no further, this is for you!

On 19th December at 6pm we will be gift wrapping presents for the Orphans in Karbala, which have been bought by generous donations. The gifts comprise of stationary, small toys, warm hats / gloves, sweets / candy. We would love for this to be a community project so that we can all share the blessing of bringing a spontaneous heart-warming smile to an orphan child.

This event will also
be filmed and short video messages will be recorded from the volunteers attending and actually shown to some of the Orphans in Karbala, to show them how much people from around the world truly do love and care for them!

To make it even more special, we will also be writing short messages to the children that will be put in the gift bags and shown to them.

"To the beautiful children in Karbala, love from your brothers and sisters around the world..."

Don't miss out on this opportunity!

Date:
19th December

Time:
6-9pm

Venue:
Iraqi Orphan Foundation
Unit 2F
Crusader House
289 Cricklewood Broadway
London NW2 6NX

Parking available after 6:30pm on the road and free parking also in the building of the above office.

Snacks will be served.

The charity that has been kind enough to offer us their office location is the Iraqi Orphan Foundation, who specialise in helping the Iraqi Orphans, for more information, visit their website: http://www.iraqiorph....com/index.html

*IMPORTANT*: Please only click "Going" If you really are confirmed you are able to come, as we need to organise the event accordingly. Thank you!

Salaam,

This is the first (oldest) annual Muslim Procession in Central London and the very first Arbaeen/Chelum Procession of Imam Husain عليه السلام in the western world (Americas & Europe).

The Procession is held every year on the nearest Sunday to Arbaeen at Marble Arch, London. Over the years, we have built up a strong relationship with the local authorities, Westminster Council and Metropolitan Police, ensuring a peaceful successful procession.

The procession marks the 40th day after the martyrdom of the Grandson of our Holy Prophet عليه السلام in Karbala 680AD and has now become one of the largest annual Muslim processions of the UK.

NOTE: If anyone would like to volunteer this year or know of anyone, please go on www.arbaeenuk.com and fill out the volunteer form.

JazakAllah

Bring your family and friends.

Refreshments will be served.

I'm thinking of going iA, looks great!
I have fallen, with my heart shattered -
Where else but on your path? And I
Broke your bowl, drunk, my idol, so drunk,
Don't let me be harmed, take my hand.
