Sources from within AhlulBayt TV have confirmed that Sayed Ammar Nakshawani's lectures will no longer be shown on AhlulBayt TV. Sayed Ammar, who has continuously and tirelessly supported the channel and been the reason behind greats sums of donations, has had his lectures BANNED by the channel due to what the channel has described in a phone call made to them as ideological differences concerning certain figures in history. His lectures have not been televised since the first week of the Holy Month of Muharram, over 3 months ago.

The head of the channel, Sayed Mahdi al Modaressi, insists that Sayed Ammar's lectures will not be televised again. His stance, according to sources at the Channel, will not change, despite the efforts of others to persuade him otherwise. The public answer currently being given to AhlulBayt TV viewers regarding Sayed Ammar's talks is ''InshaAllah Soon'', or the very vague ''We are showing his clips in documentaries but we cant accomodate his lectures.''

The irony is that AhlulBayt TV uses clips from Sayed Ammar's lectures worldwide to persuade people into donating, while they now have decided to BAN his material. However, they will continue to claim that this ban is not permanent to ensure that his worldwide following will continue to donate with the perception that he remains a part of the schedules on the channel. You will not be seeing Sayed Ammar's lectures on the channel again.

I'm sorry, but is this a joke? Because it's really NOT funny... What did he do wrong !? Can someone please explain? Why does Sayed Modaressi "insist" that sayed ammar will not be televised again??

What's going on???

Sister, you have not heard Sayed Mahdi Al-Modarresi saying that himself and so we do not know if he has actually said/insisted.

If it's a matter of concern to some, they should contact the channel and hear from them directly. I am not saying this has not or has happened as I do not know myself. One thing I am sure of is that Modarresi is definitely not the kind of man who would "use" clips of someone just to keep getting donations-that's a big accusation.

Is this due to Nakshawani believing Imam's didn't know the exact timings of their death?  Here: watch it at 25:42. I heard that the people at that masjid were sort of disappointed afterwards, and may not call him back to lecture for them again.

No that is not the reason. He will be returning to Idara-e-Jafariya, Washington, confirmed by the committee, for Arbaeen 2012.

Phone ABTV and they will tell you why.

You want them to not show Bahrain events?

Bahrain people are having important revolution against Yankee colony government. Showing this for people is highly important matter.

Firstly, the global mission is bigger than any one individual.

Secondly, and most importantly, I would kindly request you to reconsider your statement on Bahrain. Please refer to the following links:

Everyone is mis-understanding ..

It's fine defending Bahrain, but showing live-stream of the country Bahrain for like an hour is making the channel look dead. seriously, we got the point.

also, was there anything on Ahlulbayt tv about Palestine,Libya,Yemen etc.. I didn't find much.

I remember someone wanted to advertise the 'Quds day' advert, and Ahlulbayt TV replied.. ' we don't want to be political' or something along those lines.

Care to explain the difference?

Back to the topic really.. What did Sayed Ammar do wrong? Did he give out wrong information? Even if he did, is that enough to not show his brilliant talks?

First of all, there is no official statement as of yet, only hearsay.

According to their website, he has a supervisory role:  http://www.ahlulbayt.tv/index.php/faqs

This is the team: http://www.ahlulbayt...out-us/the-team

Perhaps we shouldn't speculate:

[49.12] O you who believe! avoid most of suspicion, for surely suspicion in some cases is a sin, and do not spy nor let some of you backbite others. Does one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? But you abhor it; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, surely Allah is Oft-returning (to mercy), Merciful.

Perhaps he overcharged for his services in the channel?

1. we don't even know if he has been banned.
2. if he has, we don't know the reason
3. we don't know if he charges for his services to the channel (even if he believes in charging in general, people in your thread pointed out that this isn't always the case)
4. if he does charge, we don't know if he overcharged

Sometimes we make mistakes, brother. Nothing wrong in admitting them.

From what I understood from your post, it seems you are speculating that because of his overcharging, and not any other issues, he was (apparently) discharged.

Unless I understood incorrectly.

A close source told me that, Sayed Ammar lectures are banned from Ahlulbayt TV, because in some of his lectures, he talks good about Ayatollah Khomeini and Hezbollah.

This is not fitna, a close source told me this.

Also, this is the SAME reason why channels like Zahra/SalaamTV don't put his lectures up.

We, shias are really pathetic..and then we talk about unity with sunnis  Let us unite within ourselves.

This makes no sense. Just the other week they were showing a programme (a repeat of one of their live shows) dedicated to Ayatollah Khomeini's book on prayer.
And if this is the case, why don't they show the lectures that don't mention those topics? There are so many presenters and members of staff on the channel that also like Ayatollah Khomeini, are they gonna give them the sack also?

I hope we hear something official.
