actually yes tatoos are haram since they block your wudhu, just like nail polish so whatever.

Thats the case in Sunni Islam. Tatoos and earrings are haram. However Shia Islam it seems allows both.

Slits in earbrows if copying unbelievers is haram aswell.

I'd love to get tattoos, however its haram according to the Islam i follow and they look terrible when you old and wrinkly
"If the religious people are not the friends of God, then God has no friends in this world." Imam Abu Hanifa (ra)

"We were with Imam Malik (ra) when a man came and asked him: ‘O Abu `Abd Allah! "The Merciful is established over the Throne" (20:5): how is He established?’ He looked at the ground and started prodding it with a twig Then he lifted his head and said: ‘The "how" of it is inconceivable; the "establishment" part of it is unknown; belief in it is obligatory; asking about it is an innovation; and I believe that you are a man of innovation.’

(salam)

unfortunately i have slits in my eyebrows.. but... it ACTUALLY came from accidents!!!

What makes it even more ironic.. is that i have one on the other eyebrow in the EXACT same place.. symmetrical !! .. ALSO ACCIDENTAL!!

one was from rope burn, and the other was a combination of smashed glass and a hockey stick lol...

either way.. mine look natural (because its not shaved or waxed) and is permanent.. but ppl still think i did it intentionally to "look cool"

personally tho i dont mind it and i dont think its un-attractive (actually sometimes i get complimented for it!) - but only because its natural   :D  I was blessed  :shaytan:  haha

either way i agree with most of you... It isnt haram per say - but if your doing it for a girl.. theeeeennn maybe u need to think about it deeply..

hamdulilah ur not going to do it... but just keep in mind its all about the intention!!

wasalam

...Why would you want slits in your eyebrows...?

"Those who worship God for the hope of gaining, they are not real worshipers, they are merchants. Those who worship God out of fear (of punishment), they are slaves. And those who worship God to be grateful towards their creator, they are the free people, and their worship is a real one." - Imam Hussain ibn Ali (AS)
