Same here we went inside as well and got tabarrukat, my dad got a fragment of the fabric from the banner they hang on each side, i just got about 30 dubattas lol.

i would upload them pics, but i dont wanna upload any pics which show anyone that can be recognised, especially since men and women were mixed, so ur gonna have to take my word for it lol

ill tell you what tho, the room felt ALIVE, i cant explain it. its like there were invisible veins in the walls and some lifeforce pulsing through them, it was almost as though if you were quiet enough, you would have been able to almost HEAR the pulse of the room, i cant explain it. it was almost as tho u cud hear bibi zainab (sa) whispering to you in your ear from her zari, welcoming you

god ive got goosebumps, what an experience

Yehhhh OMG i had dat 2 - Big time Goosebumps?! I dno y but it fellt soooo different going in at night... it was like it felt like a completely different place....just amazing.... My heart was beatin so fast at 1 point- lol... as they were walking in nd readin durood really loud....

Do not talk about knowledge with the foolish so that they deny you, nor with the ignorant so that they find you oppressive, but talk about it with those of its people whom you meet who will accept it and understand it.

So, money will get me in after closing? Or does it have to be arranged through a group?

I Hate, Because I Love.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Fudayl ibn Yasar who has said the following:

Great topic brother,

Our family is sattled in diffrent parts of the world but we basically belong to Jhelum. Being the personification of the word generosity Imam A.S. has provided sinners like us the opportunity to try and become the slaves of the slaves of Dar e Ahlalbyt A.S.

So every year we all gather in our hometown Jhelum during Muharram and host numerous Majalis and Jaloos. Us slaves were awarded the Alam of Qubba e Mola Abbas A.S. for our majlis on 7th of Muharram by a family that was with us in Karbala on Arbaeen. The link below is a video of that.

Us slaves were also awarded the Alam of Qubba e Imam e Hussain A.S. when we had gone to karbala on 15th Shabaan before that Arbaeen. I will upload the video of that in the next post insAllah.

The Alam of Qubba e Mola Abbas A.S. is returned back to the family and we hopefully will be able to get it from them every year for our majlis on 7th Muharram.

The Alam of Qubba e Imam Hussain e Ali A.S. was gifted to us by Mola A.S. Alhamdolillah so if any of you has plans of going somewhere in the vicinity of Jhelum then you are more then welcome to go to my place for Ziyarat.

By the way Jhelum is a small town between Lahore and Islamabad in Pakistan. :D

what do you mean? which "other" are you referring to?

From what i remember - there are 2 Shrines still for Bibi Sakina - 1 which is the present 1 where every1 goes... But there used to be another one where she was originally buried and i think thats under name of "Ruqayya bintal Hussain (as)" ... And the below has been told as the reason y by several molanas and mujtahids etc.... Please feel free to confirm with any molana yourself....

But the reason she was moved from there to the new 1 (cant rem exactly when this was but it was definitely several years ago) was because at 1 time some mujtahids - like the top shia scholars had the same dream occuring to them ... some more than once... and what the dream was is that they were being told as a sign somehow that the grave of Bibi Sakina (sa) has become full of water and that they need to move Bibi Sakina (sa) to another location and basically build a new grave and resting place for her... However obviously the first time they had this dream… they didn’t no that anyone else had the same dream and they didnt think much about it as they were too scared to obviously think someone could take Bibi Sakina (sa) out of her current resting place and move her to another location?? However the next night... a few of them had the same dream again...and then they began to actually contemplate what it meant and that they should consult someone about these dreams - So all the mujtahids and the highest level scholars/shia leaders of time all gathered together to have a meeting and they discussed and found out that quite a few of them had the same dream and they decided to give the responsibility to 2 of the highest respected members and go and check the grave and see if what they saw was actually true or not….. Lo and Behold once they began digging up the grave …obviously with great extra care etc… They immediately saw water flowing out… and were very shocked and surprised to see their dreams were in fact true and were meant ot be a sign to them to take action as the grave was full of water.... :(  So they immediately went back to the rest of the people in the meeting and informed them of what they saw and they began plans for making the new grave and  Hence the new grave of Bibi Sakina (sa) is where we currently go and that is where she is now buried. :( :(

i think you mean the one in baab sagheer, not darbar e yazeed? riwayats differ as to where she was buried - some say maula zainul abideen (as) buried her in baab sagheer, others say she was buried where she died in the dungeons.

the one in baab sagheer i think is for people who are disabled/cant go down the stairs, they can do ziarat of the shabi, while the "actual" grave is deep underground that u have to go down them deathtrap stairs.

personally, i think she was buried where she died, in the shadow of darbar e yazeed maloon (LA), thats what our maulvis all said anyway

Sayeda, what you said just triggered a memory

there was 1 man and his wife who were given the honour to handle her actual blessed body. his wife picked her up and laid her in her lap, and noticed her body was exactly the same, and looked like she was sleeping, however her ears were still bleeding fresh blood

hai sakina, hai shaam.

Yeah thats what i meant.... the original place is the Babeh Sagheer one one as you rightly said where you have 2 go down dem "death trap"  stairs.. the worst 1 is when ppl try to go up and down at the same time...Geez thats a mission!! But yeh so she was moved from there to The new place just outside Darbar e yazeed (LANAT BESHUMAR)

Ok, this is getting confusing...

Sayeda, the story you posted, I've heard that before. That Bibi Sakina's (sa) grave had been over flown by water so it was moved. And I assumed it was moved from the bottom of those death trap stairs in Baab e Sagheer to the rauza near darbaar e yazeed laeen.

But then a relative of mine told me that her grave wasn't moved. Yes, water was overflowing in her grave. So her grave was opened up and cleaned out, but she was buried back in the same spot. This makes sense because I've always heard that she was buried where she died, in the zindaan near darbar e yazeed (la).

Anyways, my question was how come there are 2 zari's, one inside the other. I'm talking about the rauza by the name of Sayeda Ruqayyah (sa) near darbar e yazeed (la). You can tell in the last 2 pictures I uploaded, there is a zari, and another smaller zari inside the outter one.

sakhi two things:

stories differ on her final place; one set says she stayed in baab sagheer after the flood, another says she moved to darbar e yazeed after the flood, another says she was always in darbar e yazeed and it was darbar e yazeed that got flooded but she stayed there. its confusing.

my maulvis said the same as yours tho - she was buried where she died, in the qaidan. all we can do is visit all the sites and hope that our ziarat is qabool.

as for the zari within a zari, i think when a couple of years ago the iranians built the ziarat and renovated everything, instead of replacing the old zari, they just built a bigger one around the original

who cares who did it, who cares if it was the chinese even? the fact of the matter is that 'someone' built a zari around the already existing zari to preserve the old one is really the key in the whole discussion...

how sad is it that that was the best you had to add to this conversation that the rest of us really do have an interest in, by all means add something more meaningful if your going to add anything at all... please note as I had nothing to add and was only learning in this thread i have been keeping my mouth shut, perhaps all people with nothing to add should do the same thing
